Farfet’ched, silk solution!

Austin and Muliere went bid the group from Kaldia. Austin was told to meet them at the southern gate tomorrow at 9:00am.

As they approached the gym, one of the directors of the silk company ran up to them.

"Mister Austin I finally found you. We really appreciate the way you take our missions seriously. Please the price can be negotiated but it has to be you who takes the mission." The business man name Arther said.

"Perfect I wasn't sure how I should let the news reach you. Come with me and Muliere to his office as what I'm about to discuss involves your company." Austin said.

Arther nodded and followed behind them while wondering what Austin meant. Even the Gym leader was confused but he didn't say anything. At first Muliere thought the topic was about how he couldn't go on this mission. Now it seems that it wasn't the case.

Once they arrived at the office, they each took a seat. Muliere looked at Austin and asked, "what is it now kid?"

"It actually simple I was annoyed by many businesses to take missions, so I could only come up with a solution. The first thing I did was come up with a few hypothesizes. Now before I begin are you aware of the artificial silk businesses?" Austin asked.

Muliere didn't know but Arther knew. Arther explained about how they use machines to make them. The machines in question necessary for large scale is very expensive and not something they can get. It's also too big to be delivered to this place. Also it's difficult to build without the blue prints which are usually not for sale.

After Muliere understood the general concept he asked, "what does this have to do with your silk company then?"

"That's what I want to know artificial silk is not the same as the ones produced by bug Pokemon. Especially caterpie and spinarak. That's why we work by using these Pokemon. We ask for caterpies as spinaraks are harder for workers to deal with, although the silk is better. Also our silk feels better than that artificial monstrosity." Arther replied.

Austin responded," From the procedure we can see that what they are using is the chemical method to produce it. They can make large quantity but the feeling will feel different than the natural silk from bug Pokemon.

The natural method depends on enzymes. The best way I came up with was isolate the organ the makes the silk and using the healing machine technology with the culture technology, will enable you guys to make larger quantities with the same quality. This method also allows you to use silk from many types of Pokemon. The only issue is it will take some time to research and test the machine I theorized.

The immediate method choosing newly hatched miltanks and inserting the gene that produces the silk next to the milk production gene. This method won't require you to deal with any bug types. Just the gentle miltanks. That are drugged obviously.

Oh speaking of gentle nature, I have a feeling if gentle nature miltanks are breeded, then you won't need to keep them drugged and worry about them developing immunity."

Austin pulled out the map of the city state and a few blue prints. He continued,"these blue prints contain different ways to produce a machine that cultures, produces silk and ejects it for use. I didn't have much time to get into it so all this here are educated guesses. I also referenced several sources from the web that you can check.

The second reason I dropped by was that the city arrangements are stupid. No wonder there are people starving and this is treated as our not immediate issue. Why didn't we plant fruit bear trees and bushes in our parks as well? We should use any space we can to make sure that food is not a problem.

These areas need to be used. You can buy several farm type Pokemon and raise them here. I saw an ad online that there is a small place in sinnoha city-state that sell the extinct farfet'ched. They are also very easy to raise like miltanks. The beaks of farfet'ch and Torchic can be sold to the company that uses them. The feathers can be sent to the Lilly Designer corporation. The meat to restaurants and grocery stores. Muliere we need to talk to the Governor to set up better methods to utilize our resources so people don't starve and the business men have safer alternative to work with. This would mean less trips outside for things like the silk, meat, beak etc.

This in a way also raises jobs in the Asadia. This abandoned place that had ditto in it should also be used. Ditto are the best breeding partners. So this building can be changed into a breeding area for the Pokémon farms. That way instead of wasting money and buying eggs or breeding a low amount, you will have a lot of eggs being made in the City-State. This will save funds that can be used elsewhere.

People should not starve in the city so citizens who make less than 300 dollars a month should be given a 100 dollar food coupon." Austin pulls out the diagram and what he estimated to how much money they spent and how much they will save. "Leader this is my calculations and the ideas I mentions were things I found online that met our immediate needs, again I'm on a 15 year old and their is only so much I can theorize, please have the governor and the R&D department do their home work.

The thing I can truly help you with is regarding the ditto situation. A new job for trainers should be created Pokémon breeders and we can higher someone to teach a group of interest d-ranks how to breed Pokémon this day and age. i have said my peace if you any issue let me know later i want to rest now."

Muliere, who was stunned by what Austin pointed out, woke up from his daze and blocked Austin. "Hold it buddy I need to rewrite everything you said and I want a detailed report of what goes where. You really think differently from other people."

"When you stop worrying about a bunch of stuff and being afraid almost constantly, you'll be able to look at the bigger picture. I don't know as much as you and so I look at things differently." Austin said before repeating what he said in more detail. If they go by this arrangement then the city will look better. If minor things are done the city as a whole will look beautiful and new.

Austin wanted the poor districts to be completely renovated so people can live better. This idea isn't really realistic. Austin had other plans but first to make the city function a bit better. The governor was really good at her job but without money they could not do a lot of projects. Austin already gave them several methods of making money. In a year or two the city will begin big projects to fix the living places. At least that's what Austin hopes.

The silk company director Arther loved the idea and gave Austin a contract giving him 15 percent since it's his idea. he let Austin know that they will experiment with both methods and let him know the results. Austin left and went to prepare for tomorrow. He had to get ready or else he might not make it back. Austin felt relaxed that he was able to help the people in the city.

Austin had given the caterpie to Arther. Now he could focus on training and do more difficult missions as training. Combusken might evolve with in a year but it needs pressures for that. Many thoughts went through his head. Who will he catch next? What will tomorrow's journey yield?
