' It had been a month since I last spoke to the person I believed to be the boss. All they seemed to want me to do was read books on mutant powers, but I found some interesting things that made the Pokémon anime start to make more sense. As I was reading, a system message suddenly appeared.

"Host has cleared a mission." Mission? What mission? I was confused, but also intrigued.

"System, tell me more," I requested.

"Host has cleared the mission to find more information on the Pokémon world, given by The Collector," the system explained.

"Isn't The Collector's mission about collecting Pokémon?" I asked, trying to understand why such a mission would be given.

"You are mistaken, Host. The Collector is the ruler of all collectors, collecting everything and gathering information is a big part of it," the system clarified. It started to make more sense now. "So, what is the reward for completing this mission?" I asked eagerly, excited to have accomplished my first mission given by the rulers.

"Host has unlocked the titles function," the system replied. Titles? I thought I would receive something cooler, but I suppose it's better than nothing. "What does it even do?" I asked, not expecting much.

"Host, do not underestimate the significance of titles. Each title comes with its own effects. For example, the title 'Black Family Heir' unlocks all the Black Family's abilities," the system explained.

My eyes widened in disbelief. That was quite the cheat. "So, how can I get more titles?" I asked, unable to contain my excitement, momentarily forgetting about the fact that I had been kidnapped.

"Titles are something that others think of when they talk about you," the system clarified. "As for how many titles you currently have, Host, they are as follows: 'Black Family Heir,' 'Prince Charming,' 'White Family Head's Nephew,' 'Perfect specimen,' 'Victim of Kidnapping,' etc."

I blushed at some of the titles, finding them embarrassing. "Are they really calling me that?" I questioned the system.

"Yes, Host," the system replied. I couldn't help but feel like the system was laughing at me. Before I could dwell on it further, the door suddenly swung open, revealing two people with concealed identities.

Wondering why they were here, I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my neck and everything went dark.

A few hours later, I regained consciousness to find myself tied to a table, with several people nearby. "You're finally awake," a voice said, one that I recognized as belonging to the boss. As I turned my gaze to the right, I saw a person who seemed ready to perform surgery. "You're a Guardian, aren't you?" I asked, locking eyes with him.

He remained silent for a moment before replying, "You're a smart kid, aren't you, little fella?"
