EPISODE 198: Under Sleep, Under Hallucination!

In the serenade of the black, the stars are a choir; they are lights that sing in infinite patterns. Sometimes eyes need music, and the darker the night the sweeter the song. The sky was black tranquility married to a poetry of stars. It was the softness that called body and brain to rest and let the heart go to its steady rhythm. Night came as a reward of sorts, a restfulness above to calm the soul.

On my tent is where I slept, with Lucario on the left and Shaymin on my belly. Cool breeze kept our bodies comfortable and prosperous as they enter the realm of sleepy slumbers. Inside my conscious mind, the rustling grass could be heard, with the swaying of trees. Nature's lullaby played once more, just like a mother singing to her dearest daughter.

"Afíste me apó to domátió mou. Xypníste tin psychí mou" The voice echoed once more, on my black and sleepy mind. I chose to ignore it, while I switch sleeping positions without disrupting Shaymin's sleep on my belly. No matter what I do, it keeps on calling, just like someone yearning for something.

Afíste me apó to domátió mou. Xypníste tin psychí mou what could this mean? A dialect as old as time, forged under greek rulers and monarchs. With the language spoken by this voice, could it be that the voice is an ancient one? Something from olden days, an emperor perhaps?

"Afíste me apó to domátió mou. Xypníste tin psychí mou" The voice continued to echo and murmur.

My head suddenly felt dizzy as a black silhouette formed on my mind. This black figure was once a small little being, slowly turning into a beast with six hands. I could see it, it's power, it's hallucination.

From my mind, seven rings flew around me, each bearing a vision I couldn't explain. One after another, these rings turned into twilight, as shadows of different Pokemons emerged outside the rings.

Yes, shadows indeed, strange Pokemons have emerged, with their crimson red eyes and twilight body. One of them was familiar to me, but I can't remember its name.

These seven Pokemons flew around me, succumbing to my Earthly mind. Murmurs of the words: Afíste me apó to domátió mou. Xypníste tin psychí mou, uttered from the mouths of these Pokemons. Slowly, the faded away as their murmurs got louder.

My head was shrouded with fear, when all of a sudden my eyes twitched and woke me up.

"Kalem, are you alright?" Shaymin questioned with a worried face. She was the one who woke me up.

"Just another nightmare. Don't worry, I'm fine." I uttered with a soothing voice while rubbing her belly.

"I don't think so. I know you're hiding something, and I can sense that too. A darkness dwelling in your mind, seven sages united once more, I can see whatever you see Kalem." Shaymin uttered with concern while licking my hand.

"I guess you have the power to seek nightmares and stuff. It's night time, I want to sleep." I uttered with a drowsy voice while I switch sleeping positions once more.

"Kalem, you know that I don't have the power to do that. What if, in the future, I have to use my power to save you, will you allow me?"

"Shaymin, don't overthink. It's not like I'm going to die or something, let's sleep."

"No Kalem! Answer me now, I know your purpose in the mountain, so stop hiding it from me!" Shaymin shouted with worry while waking my face up.

"Ok, fine. If you know, then you know, my body is sleep. If what you say is true, do me a favor and never transfer your life to me, no matter what happens."

"Ok, just keep your spiky amulet safe. If not, it will lead to unexpected events, people are chasing for that amulet which you bear, once they take it, you know what will happen next." Shaymin licked my face and went back to her sleepy slumber.

I can't believe if Shaymin really knows what's happening in my mind. I've never seen a Pokemon which can sense someone's mind, not even a mythical Pokemon. Maybe a legendary Pokemon like Mewtwo can, but I doubt Shaymin couldn't. Only time will reveal the truth...
