EPISODE 193: A Change of Plans!

<Knock Knock Knock>Draco knocked on Melody's room back in the Pokemon Orphanage in Citrus town. Afternoon has just arrived, and the heat of the sun is at its finest.

"Come in," Melody concurred while sitting on a small wooden chair, typing a letter on her laptop.

"I didn't mean to disrupt your work Melody."

"No, it's fine Draco. I'm just typing the Pokemon League certificates. Oh and by the way, February 10 is the official date of the Pokemon League. It's been approved by the Pokemon League Company and the Pokemon World Company." Melody chuckled while continuing her work.

"Anyways, have you heard about the Glacevelt city?"

"Glacevelt? Why, what happened?" Melody halted her work and turned her head to Draco.

"Officer Jenny told me about the incident back there. It turns out that the city belongs to the regime itself, what's worse? The gym leader is a commander. Her name is Lunar, and she's known as the ice type specialist of the Chaos Regime."

"Zhery was right, after all, we have to alert Kalem and his friends, they're on their way to the city right?"

"It's too late for that. The Masked Revelations and the Chaos Regime are working together. Kalem's currently in Aulmurus City after being frozen by one of Lunar's Pokemons."

"No, it can't be. Why would she freeze Kalem all of a sudden? What is the regime and the mafia trying to do this time?" Melody stood up from her chair, with her face filled with shock and worry.

"Don't worry Melody, he and his Pokemon are doing well. According to Nurse Joy, Kalem and Lucario are in a mild condition, they're recovering quickly."

"Lucario huh? Looks like Kalem's Riolu finally evolved. We have to take precautionary measures, we still don't know their next move."

"That's not all, a former commander of the regime has been shot dead. She's no longer capable of being revived. We were able to contact her family, Hemera's Pokemons are safe with them."

"If only I listened to Zhery, all of these wouldn't happen. She was right all along." Melody uttered softly.

"The incident in Glacevelt city has been placed under news blackout to avoid panic. The department is doing whatever it can to capture every member of the regime living inside the city. They're also searching for Lunar and two more suspects."

"I see, this will be an opportunity for us to interview them. Come back to me when you find anything new." Melody instructed and sat down on the wooden chair once more. She continued to type the certificates, but her mind was filled with bother and concern for the people of this region.

On a small twilight room, lies Axis and her Persian, sitting on a black chair. The two admins stood beside her, while they wait for the regime's call.

<Gzz... Gz...>The screen in front of them turned on to reveal Elanor's silhouette.

"Plan B was a complete failure... What happened to the boy?!" Elanor infuriated.

"Eh, it's not our fault. Your spy wasn't able to tie the daughter's mouth." Axis uttered sarcastically.

"The spy you're talking about has been fired. Anyways, the king has one more plan in mind." Elanor's indignant attitude calmed and steadied.

"Another plan? What's next, bombing Aulmurus city? Destroying the dam in Dracovolt city? Or perhaps creating an artificial thunderstorm in your city? We have the technology to those three." Axis giggled and uttered sarcastically.

"We're not here to buy your technology. The plan is simple, all we have to do is wait for the League to commence, and that's when we strike. I'm sure you're familiar with the Arceus Pendant, and I'm sure that you know it could only be used on the peak of the mountain, the same place where the Pokemon League will commence."

"So... you're planning to steal the pendant to wish upon Giratina? Eh, fine by me. Camellia's clone could still be used in the future."

"Will you stop acting like a child!? I'm being serious here."

"Call me a child again, and I'll bomb your isle. I know where it is, and I can tell the department for 100 Billion Pokemoney. After all, we're after the money, and not for the gods." Axis giggled and warned.

"Pfft! Stop being insolent."

"If you will steal the pendant from the boy, what about Mewtwo and your Genesect? What do you plan to do with them?"

"Once we find Mewtwo, the king shall capture and use it for other works. After all, Mewtwo isn't called the strongest Pokemon in the world for nothing.

The king has also decided to abandon Glacevelt city. Do whatever you wish to the city, bomb it if you wish too." Elanor's last words uttered through the screen as she cuts the network between the regime and the mafia.

"The Chaos Regime is unpredictable. The last time we've contacted each other, they said that their boss doesn't rely on wishes. I feel like they're tricking us, doing something behind our backs." Axis giggled while grooming her Persian.

"What should we do then, Ms. Axis? Should we stop negotiating with them? After all, you may be right... They're telling lies to our face." Vermont questioned.

"Just let them be... I have my own plans. Mewtwo will be ours, imagine how wealthy the Masked Revelations will be after selling the most powerful Pokemon in the world alongside with the other Gods.

Let the Regime work behind our backs, we're working behind theirs too." Axis uttered with a malicious scowl.

"Genesect where are you?" Besides a small pond, Mewtwo meditates with its eyes closed. Its surroundings are peaceful and humble, as the sun's galore shines over it.

Mewtwo, tried to detect Genesect once more with the use of its psychic power. It tried its best to sense Genesect's heat signature to know its location.

Mewtwo's senses failed again. Something kept on interfering with its mind while meditating. Mewtwo opened its eyes slowly and looked around its peaceful surroundings.

It's attention was caught by the flowers decaying and withering everywhere its head looked upon. "Once this is over, you will bloom once more," Mewtwo uttered solemnly while touching one of the withering flowers. Laurenburg hasn't experienced rainfall for a long time, causing the flowers' beautiful color to fade away.

"I won't stop, until I find you Genesect. I will find you." Mewtwo uttered softly while crushing one of the flower's petals. It fled the scenery and looked for some place else to meditate once more.
