Female Gyarados

Kanto Region, Pokemon League Headquarters

A woman in her late teens with orange hair arrived in front of a tall building in which her brows furrowed, "To think that stupid Lance left without even signing the transfer form that will approve of my position as the new Kanto Champion."

A man with tan skin and brown hair patted her shoulder and said, "No need to get angry over this, we can just ask the chairman to sign it."

"Hmph! I am angry because he isn't doing his job as a Champion and passed all those paperwork to me while I was busy doing my job as an Elite Four." The orange-haired woman replied with a sneer.

The brown-haired man chuckled and tried to change the topic, "I heard that he was undefeated in the group stage and will be moving on to the main tournament which will start tomorrow."

Hearing him talk about that certain person the orange-haired woman snorted and replied with an even angrier tone, "Who cares about that loser? he disappeared for 5 years and didn't even visit us when he returned! he was clearly in Kanto for a month and we didn't even saw a glimpse of his stupid hair."

"There, there, you know that he's been through a lot this couple of years so cut him some slack." The brown-haired man said with a calm voice.

"Why are you even defending him? Urgh, nevermind I'll just beat him up when he shows his face in the future." The orange-haired woman said while stomping her way inside the building scaring the guards.

The brown-haired man sighed as he faced the direction leading to Sinnoh and murmured, "Best of luck, Ash. I'll try persuading this female Gyarados in human form so that we can visit you soon."

A white limousine parked behind the brown-haired man, the guard quickly approached at the door and opened it while an old man with a white beard stepped out.

He glanced at the man standing at the entrance and said with a laugh, "Hey there, Brock. I saw your girlfriend Misty storming her way inside, is everything alright?"

Brock laughed and replied, "It's all under control Mr Goodshow it's not like you're not used to seeing her rage."

Lily of the Valley Island, Grand Hotel

"An undefeated guy that easily won against my student, interesting, interesting." A middle-aged man with red and orange hair said while watching Ash's and Iris battle.

A beautiful blonde lady was sitting beside him and said, "He didn't just win, but he won without even trying."

"Hahaha, I told you right? my student is so amazing that your little student couldn't even stand a chance, Alder." Lance said laughing at Alder who had an annoyed look on his face.

"Your student? *Spit* everyone knows you always brag so I don't believe it until this Ash tells it himself." Alder replied clearly pissed at Lance.

Cynthia, the blonde woman could only shake her head seeing her companions acting like little children. she then stared at the video again especially at Ash's Garchomp.

*Creak*

The door opened and two young men entered the room.

"If it isn't our two little Champions, what brings you here?" Lance said as he looked at Alan and Tobias who just entered.

Alan bowed and replied, "We want to ask if you seniors want to be the one to decide the bracket for the upcoming main tournament?

Hearing this Cynthia and Alder shook their heads not caring about the bracket.

Alan then glanced at Lance and saw the latter thinking.

After thinking for a moment Lance said, "I just want Ash to be able to fight with his former friends namely Max and Clemont."

"Understood, we will be taking our leave now," Alan and Tobias bowed then left the room.

Cynthia looked at Lance and asked, "Is that Ash really your student?"

Lance crossed his legs and took a sip of his drink and replied, "What do you think?"

Cynthia rolled her eyes not caring about Lance anymore and minded her own business and with that, the main tournament for the Lily of the Valley Conference is about to begin.

Next day

"Ash, wake up! you're already late," Serena entered Ash's room and woke him up.

Ash rubbed his eyes and saw Serena staring angrily at him and slowly sat up, he then looked at the time and asked, "So who will be my opponent? and what time is my battle?"

Serena glared at Ash and pushed him off the bed and replied while leaving, "You can go wash up and check it on the screen atop the main stadium."

"This lady really knows how to wake someone up," Ash complained while taking a quick shower.

A few minutes later Ash left his room and called Alakazam as they teleported to the stadium, checking his surroundings Ash knew that they are at the main stadium and looked at the screen above.

Looking at the bracket Ash smiled unconsciously seeing that Max will be his first opponent, 'If Clemont doesn't lose then I will be facing him in the semi-finals.'

After knowing who his opponent is and when his battle will be Ash went and watched Iris's battle and saw her defeating her opponent while only using her Dragonite making her advance to the quarter finals.

Ash continued watching the next few battles until it was finally his time to fight, he then went to the trainer's lounge and waited for his fight to be announced.
