Nanny and Pop-Pop

{With Ashtwo}

It has been a bit since Ash got put in this whole side mission with Jessie, James, and Meowth, and over the whole thing, the most exciting part was that he got to ride in the hot air balloon.

He managed to get a lot of information, firstly being that in Kanto there were 9 breeding facilities owned by Team Rocket, along with 4 other places that were targeted as a potential place to take, of which only 1 of them compiled and joined.

But more importantly, Porygon2 managed to infiltrate into Team Rocket's more secure archives, in them he learned about the more secret base and projects being made at any given moment, the names, locations, and Pokemon of all Admins and Executives, and the names of more undercover agents.

It's worth noting that there was a high-ranking member of the International Police that was at a high Admin level strength, who according to the information he had from the International Police archives was one person who would be recommended to become the next captain. He'll have to hand that over to his 'partners' later.

Now something to note, Porygon2 was still decrypting some information that he got, but from what he already has he knows a few things: 

Firstly he managed to find the original Porygon blueprints that were stolen, along with information about Aster and his whereabouts, from the reports he found out that he had tried, and failed, to replicate the project.

Obviously, he could delete it, but that would be too suspicious at the moment and cause a lot of commotion and lead back to Dr. Akihabara, and if that happens even if the chance is small he might get caught, so until he can get rid of Aster he'll leave it alone.

But he did download it to send back to Akihabara, and had Porygon2 make a very slight revision, nothing too suspicious, just replaced a 1 with a 0, with that it would get rid of the risk of Porygon getting in the wrong hands.

Other than that he has found certain reports on projects that he will need to deal with later, but the most important thing was 2 projects, one called Project Zapmolcuno, and the other called Project Mewtwo.

Both equally freaked him out but Mewtwo took priority, opening it revealed the plans to create an Pokemon that would have the potential to surpass Legendaries. But after that nothing, it said where the original project was before it was relocated but the location was not in all the data.

And looking at Project Zapmolcuno he got even less but he was surprised when he found out the GO leaders were involved, he could guess they were planning a 'Infinite fusion' and going to try and fuse them, but he didn't know how or where.

Overall this caused more questions than answers and until Porygon2 can get more time in the base to decrypt the rest he won't have answers to these questions

Anyway they just had 1 place to look at next and then they would be finished, over the thing Ash saw the 'new' Pokemon that the trio had and anything else relevant, Meowth kept trying to flirt with his Meowth, Jessie for the most part ignored him, he only really got to talk to James.

But as he was lost in thought he heard Jessie, "Hey new kid, we're almost there."

Ash blinked as he came back to reality, "OK, where even is this place? It looks like we're in the middle of nowhere."

Indeed they were when he looked over the edge of the hot air balloon there was nothing but forest under them, and the fact that it looked like the sun would set in a few hours didn't help.

James looked at his map, "Well according to what they gave us, the place should be a remote place where injured Pokemon are taken, apparently also owned by an old couple."

As he said they he pulled out a pair of binoculars and looked around finally seeing something, "Hey I-" Then he realized what it was, a large blue castle that he recognized all too well.

"What is it?" Meowth asked as he tried to take the binoculars

James flinched and pulled them away, "Oh no I'm just saying there is nothing in that direction, you know we should turn back-"

Then Jessie took it as James wasn't looking and looked through them seeing the castle, "Wow, I guess that's where we're going, that place must be loaded."

James quickly took the binoculars, "N-no I don't think so, I mean why would a castle be a place to handle Pokemon I mean that just seems like a waste."

Ash looked at the list and pointed at it, "It says here one of the places is a castle."

James felt like he got punched in the face as Jessie pushed him out of the way, "Alright then it's settled let's go and finish our mission to get praise from the Boss!"

So despite James' protest the hot air balloon approached the castle, and the closer they got the bigger it got until they finally landed in front of it.

Jessie was the first to jump out, "Alright let's find this old couple and ask them if they want Team Rocket's support!"

James however stayed in the balloon, "I think you all should go without me, I'll stay here and guard the balloon."

But Jessie reached over and grabbed him by the collar and dragged him out and into the castle through the opened gate.

Jessie held her hand in front of her mouth as she screamed, "Hellllooooo, anyone here!"

James quickly got up and covered her mouth, "Hey don't be too loud, anyway it seems like there's no one here so let's go-" he was cut off when a voice rang out

"Hold your horses, we're coming." An old voice said as an old couple walked into the hall.

When they came into view James turned around and saw them, they also looked happy to see him, "My if it isn't Little James."

That caught Jessie and Meowth by surprise as they looked at each other, "Little, since when?"

"Oh, it's so good to see you both again Nanny and Pop-Pop."

"It's good to see you too," Pop-Pop said

Nanny nodded, "And in such good health"

Then they noticed James wasn't alone, "Oh are those your friends?"

Jessie and Meowth were waving and Ash was just standing there, "Oh well, they are my… Manager and Secretary!"

"Eh, Manager and Secretary?"

James jumped behind Ash and Jessie, "Yes you see these two help me with my company!"

Jessie looked at James, "What are you-"

But before she could say anything he took all 3 of them and took them behind a pillar saying, "Give us a moment please!"

When they got there Jessie and Meowth looked at him, "Ok what's the big idea."

James sighed, "Well for starters this place is one of my summer cottages."

Jessie and Meowth nearly choked on air hearing that, "What! Then if this is a cottage how rich are you?"

"Loaded," James said sadly, "And that old couple is my grandma and grandpa, I don't want them to know I'm part of Team Rocket, so please could you help me out."

Meowth put his paw on James and gave a thumbs up, "You can count on us, Jimmy."

"But you're going to owe us big time," Jessie added.

"Yeah of course," James nodded, then they all looked at Ash who they just remembered was there.

Ash got up and looked away, "I guess I can turn a blind eye."

"Nya!" Meowth nodded from his shoulder

James looked happy as they got up and went back into view of Nanny and Pop-Pop, "Well, it was wonderful seeing you again, but we don't want to be a bother. So we should go."

Just as James was going to turn around Nanny smiled, "Now don't be ridiculous you could never be a bother, not like those parents of yours."

James gulped loudly and turned around, "T-they aren't here are they?"

"No, those two are on a cruise traveling the world again," Pop-Pop said looking tired, "Honestly how can they act like that and still treat poor Growlie like that."

"What do you mean!" James blurted out as he almost jumped in front of them, "What happened to Growlie!"

"Well, they haven't been taking care of him in the slightest, they even ordered the butler to stop feeding him as much, if we hadn't called in and told one to feed him in secret I can't imagine what would have happened," Nanny said sadly.

James looked horrified hearing that so Nanny gave a suggestion, "I know, it's getting late, how about you stay over with your friends, I can even make your favorites."

James snapped out of his trance and shook his head, "Oh no I cou-" but he was cut off by Jessie.

"How can we decline your generosity, I'm sure James wants to catch up!" 

They both chuckled, then Pop-Pop spoke up, "Well while she gets dinner ready, why don't I give you the tour of the place, we have a lot of new Pokemon you can meet."

As this was happening a little Mime Jr. peaked out from the pillars and was staring at them, more specifically at James.

{Location: Cerulean Cave secret lab}

Cliff, Arlo, Sierra, and Giovanni made their way into the secret lab, this particular lab was separate and even secret to all except high-rank Admins, Executives, and high-ranking Scientists knew about this place.

This is the new location of Project Mewtwo after a series of unfortunate events since then Mewtwo has been under 24/7 monitoring and sedatives.

Giovanni walked forward towards one of the Scientists who was checking the monitors and was surprised by his sudden arrival.

"Status report"

"S-sir, we have managed to suppress project Mewtwo's strength by 50%, but since then its power has been growing. It is nearly back to the strength it was before we suppressed it with no signs of stopping."

Giovanni nodded, "Well it is a good thing we arrived when we did," then he turned to the other scientists, "Everyone evacuate the lab, from now on we will take care of Project Mewtwo personally."

All the scientists didn't hesitate, they all grabbed any essential things and started making their way out of the caverns.

Then Giovanni turned to his admins, "This will be a dangerous battle, the most dangerous any of you have ever been in, I won't blame you if you wish to leave now."

Cliff and Arlo scoffed at the idea and Sierra stepped forward, "You gave us a mission and we will complete it, even if I don't have one of the trio I will stay as well."

Giovanni nodded and turned back to the capsule holding Mewtwo, "Loyalty will get you everywhere, very well let's begin." he then pulled out a red Pokeballs, "Come on out."

Out from the Ball came Beedrill who had a necklace with a beautiful gem in the center.

Cliff and Arlo released Articuno and Moltres respectively, and Sierra released Houndoom.

Giovanni rolled up his sleeves and fixed his tie, as on his wrist he had a bracelet with a rainbow collared rock, a Keystone.

Giovanni looked forward with his admins next to him, "Beedrill [Brick Break] on the container!"

Beedrill's lance glowed red as in a split second he disappeared and reappeared in front of the container as he shattered it, spilling everything inside, including Mewtwo.

From Mewtwo's point of view after witnessing the incident everything went dark, then suddenly it got extremely bright, blinding it for a second as its eyes started trying to adjust, and then Mewtwo saw Giovanni.

Giovanni looked at Mewtwo, "I don't want to have to do this, just don't resist and we don't have to fight."

Mewtwo stared at Giovanni, although Mewtwo didn't recognize Giovanni but it did recognize his voice, one of the voices that was there when Amber died, so Mewtwo's eyes began to glow purple as its face filled with rage.

Giovanni sighed, "I suppose things can never be easy can they, very well let's begin," Giovanni said as he raised his wrist and pressed the stone making the entire cave shine.
