Dust was the outcome. The arena that stood for centuries in this region, a symbol of Unova's long running success had collapsed once in for all. Zekrom and I were scouting the corpses but was indeed left in aghast to find not the corpses of the seven sages, N and his Reshiram, Ghetsis and a few others such as the sages. Had they become thin air? It disturbs me to think Team Plasma has a remnant. With them, this could only serve as the end of dawn of our conflict against Ghetsis. Along with the missing was N's castle poofed out of existence.
I scoured the ruins for the Meteonite but I had ran out of luck. It was gone. The lieutenant who was in charge of holding and controlling the weather also disappeared. All this, yet Team Plasma is at it again.
<Zek?>
"Yeah, there's no more to find here. Bring me back down to Logan and everyone else."
Zekrom nodded.
"The league's obliterated.... This was the plan of your espionage?" Elesa questioned Skyla.
"I didn't know too."
"Champion Alder. What to do now? With the Unova League destroyed, our remaining trainers would have no place for them to compete." Shauntal said.
Alder thought hard. "I have an idea! We'll make use of my palace instead. We shall create a statue in the center and four rooms will be allotted for each elite. The trainer must fight the elite inside the room and when he has triumphed from all four, the statue will come down and stairs will lead the trainer's way to me!"
"And the price?"
"Not to worry, Grimsley! I'll have the funds ready and the league can continue in a few weeks! Ha! Ha!" The champion expressed great enthusiasm.
"Wait, Zekrom."
Zekrom paused in mid air.
"Logan?"
"Still here. Me and Dawn are alive."
"Good for you. The bomb's detonated, the league's destroyed, Team Plasma's still out there."
"What? They didn't fall?"
"Their leaders are missing with some grunts. It must be a miracle that saved them."
"What were you doing there, anyway?"
"Finding something. I was unable to find it and so, I'll be going back to headquarters."
Logan tee-heed. "Aren't you going to greet the people down here?"
"I was, then I thought, if I did, what would they make of me?"
"A hero--"
"Heroine. And I don't want that. Good bye, Logan. Tell Dawn I said farewell to her too."
"I will. Best wishes!"
"Same to you,"
The dark clouds dispersed and the sun brought illumination from its last rays. Shadows raveled the land, and the wind was but a gent. The people were pulled away from their horrors as if none happened to them. Flying with Zekrom to direction of the setting yolk was a remarkable sunset experience to treasure.
"Where's that espionage?" Skyla wondered, searching in the crowd.
"Oh, Solar? She's heading back to headquarters. Detective Looker's calling her." Dawn said.
"Still a bit suspicious. I always think that blue hair of hers is familiar." Clay said. "Haven't I see you... you... And ah! The chargestone buddies, eh?"
"That's right!" Logan winked.
