EPISODE 83: Crimson Red*

His lethal stare, feels painful and piercing, as if he's glare is tearing my heart apart with a blinding teal light. If freezes my bones, as if I am walking in the midst of hailstorm. With the wind passing through the large gap in the hole, his jacket starts to flap as he slowly twists his cap.

"So, you're the trainer who brought fear to our organization?" I make the first move, by talking to him in a vicious voice.

"Heh, so they fear me? Quite unexpected. The name's Red." He says with a voice belonging to a serious person.

"They may fear you, but I fear no one. I am Luna Evergreen, hand me the Master Ball or prepare to fight!" With a loud voice, I demand unto him.

"This? What for?" Red looks upon the Master Ball and questions me about my purpose towards it.

I then reply, "That Master Ball belongs to Giovanni. Give it right now!" I continue to demand.

"You know what? Out of all the grunts I've faced today, you're the only one who seems loyal to claim whatever Giovanni asks you to claim.

I know your purpose with Mewtwo. And trust me, Giovanni is lying to your face."

"Giovanni is not a liar! If you won't give it to me, then I guess I have to fight you then!

Kirlia, deploy for action!" The glaring continues then I throw out Kirlia from her Pokeball.

"Pfft, alright then. Let's make this battle quick, I still have a gym challenge with Sabrina. Charizard, I... choose you!" Red smiles then beams with determination as expected. Meanwhile, his Charizard boasts off its crimson flare by spewing fire to the ceiling.

"Charizard, use Flamethrower!"

"Quick Kirlia, double team right now!"

In a blink of an eye, Kirlia duplicates itself into multiple copies, causing the foe to miss.

"Charizard, observe Kirlia's footsteps." Red commands, which is a very peculiar and odd command to me. Little do I know that even a move like Double Team has a weakness as well.

"Dragon Claw," Red instructs his Charizard once more. Its malicious claws gleamed in a violet color, bringing malice to Kirlia and me.

After seeing the real Kirlia being hit by the attack, that's when I realized duplicates do not produce sounds when they walk on the floors. As for a trainer like Red, his strategies are definitely no match against mine.

"Flamethrower."

"Kirlia, dodg-" Just even before finishing my statements, Kirlia was already hit by Charizard's powerful flare. It left my dearest Kirlia with scars and wounds.

However, Kirlia remains firm and fervent, even daring to glare back at Charizard. From there, Kirlia starts to learn a new move. Leaves, covered with purple veils charged towards Charizard, it isn't effective but at least Kirlia learned Magical Leaf.

"I see, the bond is strong with this one." Red murmurs to himself.

"Do you think Giovanni will keep you forever? Once he's done with his "ambition" he'll only leave you and the rest of the organization for, by that time, he'll be wealthy.

Trust me, there is not enough money or wealth on Earth which could satisfy one's cravings." With his jacket flapping, Red continues to force me to leave the organization.

"Giovanni does not need money, he will save the world. Hand over the Master Ball, or I will take it by force." My glare intensifies, emphasizing my scar on my left eye. My teeth then grind into each other.

Kirlia's eyes start to glow in a red color, and I could say, the two of us are heating up even hotter than the inner flames of Charizard. Meanwhile, our foe is left with shock and stiff bones.

The moment exacerbates when Kirlia starts to float up into the sky, just like what happened in Viridian City. She has the looks of a mirage, haunting the dreams and souls of young children.

Abruptly, the floors start to shake, and the both of us could feel the sensation of a minor quake taking place. Even a winged-beast like Charizard is scared from the pulse.

"Ps... Psybeam." I mumble while stuttering, luckily Kirlia is able to hear my voice even in a low tone.

A beam of light burst forth and blasts off Charizard and Red of the vicinity, causing them to meet their doom once they hit the ground.

I then snap out, realizing that I forgot the Master Ball is still with him. I rush to the corner, looking down at the city, and searching for the trainer.

Suddenly, I feel the wind, blowing me further as Charizard rises with Red riding on top of it. He gives me a toothy smile while showing the Master Ball to me.

I enraged to myself for being an idiot and forgetting about the Master Ball, and also, I enraged to the trainer as well. In a blink of an eye, Red and Charizard drifts off to the sky with the Master Ball on their grasps.

"I will meet you again, and once I do, I'll have the last laugh," I mumble. Behind me, Kirlia drops to the ground, and senses the pain from her wounds and scars. She then faints, due to the pressure.

"Kirlia, return to your Pokeball." Firstly, I massage her body since she truly deserves it. Lastly, I return her to her Pokeball in order for her to rest.

"Well done." From behind, Giovanni approaches me with a cunning smile as he claps his hands softly.

"Boss Giovanni, the Master Ball is with him. I'm sorry, but I've failed the mission."

"Because of you, the grunts were able to set me free from the room wherein I was locked. For that, you have my utmost respect." Both of us glances at the horizon of the city through the gap. He then gives me a pat on the shoulder.

"But, I am afraid your mission is not quite over yet," Giovanni adds, and opens a tab from his Ipad. He shows me the CCTV footage of Charlotte and Xavier trying to fight off the Master Five. I then realize that I must do my secret role.

"Leave the rest to me, Boss Giovanni. I won't disappoint you." Outside, I give him a smile of certainty, but in the inside, my body is full of uncertainties and decisions.

"I know you won't." Before I leave, Giovanni pats my shoulder one last time. I'm afraid, I must do this for the sake of Team Rocket, but... if the Master Five is here, then my mother is lurking around somewhere. Only time will tell when we'll meet each other once more.
