The Denver State High School League had officially ended, and most people had chosen to go home.
Ashborn also returned home the next day after saying goodbye to Terry and others.
The one who opened the door for Ashborn was his loving caretaker, Rebecca.
"How are you?,"
Ashborn greeted her with a smile. The caretaker was overjoyed to see him.
When Ashborn was young, his parents were busy, so the caretaker had taken care of him.
Ashborn was essentially raised by the caretaker.
This was the first time Ashborn had been away from home for more than ten days in over a decade. The caretaker naturally missed him very much.
Ashborn's parents happened to be at home. He told them about his arrival time before entering.
"My champion son is back," Karen said proudly. To her, no matter what her child achieved, he was worthy of her pride.
Father Valor's expression became much calmer. The old legendary was sitting on the sofa.
Karen couldn't bear to look at him and shouted sternly, "Didn't you see your son coming home on a hot day? Why don't you hurry up and pour him a glass of water?"
"Isn't the Servant already pouring water for my son?" Valor muttered in dissatisfaction but didn't dare to express it.
The tradition of the Zovic family was to love his wife.
Taking the water cups from the caretaker's hand, Ashborn took out three presents from his backpack and said,
"These are the presents I bought for you at Conference Commercial Street."
They weren't valuable things, and the Zovic family didn't lack anything.
Ashborn had bought a hat for his mother, a fishing rod for his father (fishing was one of Valor's few hobbies), and a silk scarf for the caretaker.
The mother excitedly took the caretaker upstairs to see if the hat and scarf looked good.
"Kyogre 66 fishing rod? You can buy it on High Street!"
Valor was surprised to see the blue and white fishing rod with Kyogre's head engraved on the handle.
Only 100 of these Kyogre rods had been produced, each with its own number.
They were one of the most coveted fishing rods among top anglers.
Rumor had it that Kyogre could be caught with these rods.
Catching Kyogre was the ultimate dream of all anglers.
"I happened to see this fishing rod in a shop and it wasn't for sale," Ashborn said.
"Then how did you buy it?" Valor asked.
"After spending ten times the price, the store agreed," Ashborn replied.
Valor was impressed. Not everyone had Psychic abilities, but there were many who had the ability to make money.
"I've been accepted early by Imperial College," Ashborn told Valor, also discussing the conditions offered by the college.
"It's much better than when I was your age," Valor said enviously.
He was his own son, but as a father, he hadn't awakened the power of Aura.
"I just awakened Psychic the day before yesterday. Otherwise, the conditions would be better," Ashborn said.
Now he was a man with Psychic and financial abilities.
"Psychic? Wait, you said you've awakened Psychic?"
Valor, who had been calm, suddenly became excited, jumping up from the sofa. His voice became much louder, and Karen upstairs heard it.
"Yes," Ashborn replied, unfazed by his father's reaction.
"How did you awaken it?" Valor asked.
"Well... I woke up and found Psychic," Ashborn said, using an excuse he had already thought of.
There were many ways for Psychic to awaken, often triggered by emotions like extreme excitement, happiness, sadness, or panic.
Some people also awakened Psychic after sleeping, so it wasn't a novel method.
Valor was speechless. His son had awakened Psychic and was already at the intermediate level.
Ninety-nine percent of Psychic Awakeners started at the beginning level, and very few reached the intermediate level.
Valor's awakening Psychic was also at the intermediate level.
"If you weren't as handsome as me, I would have doubted whether he was mine," Valor said speechlessly.
He should have been happy that his son was so talented, but he couldn't help feeling a bit envious.
"Mom, Dad said..." Ashborn began.
"What did I say? Don't talk nonsense, kid," Valor interrupted, turning to his wife and saying flatteringly, "Wife, Ashborn..."
"Ash, it's so fun to play with your father," Karen teased, looking at Ashborn.
Then the doorbell rang.
Ashborn ran to open the door and saw a courier standing there with a package.
"Hello, I'm from Pidgeot Express. There's a courier for Ashborn here," the courier said.
"I am Ashborn," Ashborn replied, taking out his ID card.
After the courier confirmed it, he handed the package to Ashborn.
Ashborn took a look at the Flying Seat. It was custom-made for Dragonair, as there were no Dragonair Flying Seats on the market.
"You bought something?" Karen asked, coming downstairs.
"A cyan-potential Shellder," Ashborn said. This shellder was the one he had spent 300 million on the Xortros APP trading section.
"Do you want to choose the Ice type for the second type?" Valor suggested. Cloyster, shellder's evolution, was known as the Dragon Slayer among Ice Elites.
"No, you'll know when the time comes. Keep it a secret for now," Ashborn said.
"Now that you've awakened Psychic, I suggest you choose the Psychic type for your second type. Metagross also has the Psychic type," Valor advised.
Psychic-type Pokémon could maximize the abilities of Psychic users. The Aura link between the two could play a role no less than Mega Evolution.
"Son, have you awakened Psychic?" Karen asked in surprise when she heard Valor say this.
There were only two known dual-skilled trainers in the world: one in Yavan Nation and the other in Ronster Nation.
Ashborn's appearance made him the first dual-skilled person in Xortros.
"This matter should be kept secret for now. It won't be too late to reveal it when you're a pseudo-Elite," Valor said.
The Zovic family's status in Xortros was very high, but there were several other powerful families, and the Zovic family had many enemies.
Ashborn's outstanding talent could lead to unnecessary trouble.
