This week was quite amazing with my family and I watching the rest of the top 16 duking it out. All of the matches were spectacular besides the part where Ritchie got curb stomped.
The winner in the end of the tournament was a girl called Tsubaki whose ace was a Bisharp. She was from the Unova region originally but wanted to compete in the Kanto league because of it being less stressful than other leagues.
Which I don't blame her the crowd is big here but not as big as places like Sinnoh, Galar and Kalos who have stadiums filled up with the size of four soccer stadiums.
Maybe four is an exaggeration but you get what I mean if you remember the Kalos league.
"Dad who are we visiting?" I ask my dad as we were going to be teleporting to Fuchsia City to meet his friend.
"We are going to meet a guy called Kyou I befriended a while back." He said enthusiastically. "I already informed him that we would be going there."
Hearing this I nod, as long as I get to battle someone then I don't really care.
Getting into the teleport booth for the how knows how many times this month, we teleported over to Fuchsia City.
"I've always wanted to come here." My mother says with stars in her eyes. Looking around the place, I started to see why my mother said that.
"This place is beautiful." I mumble out. Both of my parents hearing this both smile.
We were currently in a luscious garden right now with multiple walking paths and a two small ponds. Everything looked very lively with bright grass, an arrangement of plants such as lilies and multiple Pokemon roaming the place.
"We still got a few hours." My dad says softly seeing my expression.
We ended up staying at the garden for two hours exploring the place together which we found some cool Easter eggs.
We found a few nests where a few Pokemon were hatching like Caterpie. It was illegal to catch Pokemon here so all the Pokemon here were pretty approachable and friendly, this was because they were accustomed to humans as this point.
"Mum look there's a Heracross." I point out seeing the buffed bug. "I really want one." I whisper at the end making it so no one could hear it.
*Giggle*
"That looks like a really strong Pokemon sweetie." My mum says giggling at my reaction.
After a little bit, we got hungry so we finally left the place to get some food. Right after this we started to head over to where Ryou was.
Walking passed the huge buildings we eventually made it to a place which looked like your typical Japanese village you would think of when seeing this place.
"This place has a nice design." My dad says while looking at the huge buildings in the distance. Realising this is the gym where you battle Koga I started to get excited.
Making our way inside through the large entrance, we start to head to the biggest building in the "village".
After a little bit of walking, a person could be seen up ahead with a smile.
"Yo Ren, Long time no see!" A man wearing a kimono with greyish teal hair shouts out as we get closer and closer.
"Kyou it's been a while!" My dad greets him back with a huge smile. "How's the gym been? You've been the leader of it for a while now." My dad says with a cheeky grin.
"It's been pretty good, my daughter has been training a lot recently. Also you're the only one who still calls me Kyou and not Koga. Even my daughter calls me either Dad or Koga now." Koga says with a hearty laugh.
'Wait this man is the future elite four member.' I think to myself impressed. This guy was actually a pretty strong trainer in the future.
Nothing better than making connection alright.
"They are you wife and son you've been bragging about?" Koga asks looking at us. My mother and I greeted him and we all made our way inside his house to where we chatted more.
Sitting next to me was Koga's daughter who was enjoying some honey chicken?
"Wanna have a Pokemon battle twerp?" I tauntingly ask Janine. She is the kind of brash and do before thinking type so it wasn't hard to bait her into a battle.
I still somewhat remember her vividly from the anime because of my improved memory from my psychic abilities.
I honestly dont think she could really beat me anyways as if I use my Aegislash then it's GG. Even my Slowbro would do fine against her Pokemon. The worst possible match up for him is a grass type.
"You sure you can even damage my Pokemon bluey?" She says confidently. Both of us taking our Pokeballs out start to trash talk more before she drags me off to the battle grounds of her house.
'How the fuck did she come up with Bluey?' I thought to myself as I got dragged to her backyard.
Now at the battle field I made my way to the opposing side and took out Slowbro's Pokeball.
"This will be a one on one okay!" I hear her shout from the other side of the battle field.
"Aight!" I shout back.
"Go!" She shouts indicating to start. Both of us throwing our Pokeballs in sync, release our Pokemon at the same time.
"Bayleef!" A Pokemon cries out loudly.
"Slowbro?" My Pokemon in confusion turns around and looks back at me.
'For fuck sake, of course she has a Bayleef you b-' I thought to myself, but I quickly realised that I was still in the middle of a battle.
-You're battling look forward Slowbro!- I quickly tell him as I hear Janine commanding Bayleef.
"Bayleef use [Razor Leaf]!"
