Return and A Day of Past.

The next day at the break of dawn, Xyno wakes up and prepares to head back to the Academy City. After wandering in the forest for hours he arrives back at the Academy City sometime around noon. After camping out in the wilds for 3 days Xyno was exhausted and wanted to rest for a while.

The only thing on Xyno's mind right now was to rush back to his residence, take a hot shower, and rest for some hours peacefully. Those 3 days in the forest were quite taxing for him.

After entering his residence Xyno takes a deep breath and drops his bag and camping equipment in the living room.

"I can relax for a bit now. I need to go visit some places too, but right now my priority is taking a relaxing and soothing hot bath."

Xyno proceeds to take a long and refreshing shower. After some time Xyno makes a cup of black coffee and rests on a couch in the living room. He grabs the newspaper that was placed on the table nearby.

"The Prodigy who completed the research on magic wave frequency of Legendary Pokemon" read the newspaper headline.

"Prodigy, huh. Well, I guess they don't know I'm a reincarnated person."

Xyno chuckles and takes a sip of his coffee. The black coffee he had taken with him was not very high quality and was not to his liking.

"Ahh. Finally a good cup of coffee."

Having finished reading the newspaper and checking his Pokephone for other information Xyno leans back into his couch and lets out a big sigh.

"*Sigh* Out of the 18 Pokemon I caught, I need to pick out 6 Pokemons for the orphanage kids as well."

As he indulges himself in deep thoughts, Xyno thinks back to a month ago when he met the kids while he went out shopping for groceries with Chisato.

(A month ago..)

He noticed 6 kids following him and Chisato around the area. They maintained a good distance so as to not be in plain sight.

After coming out from the store he noticed the kids were still out the around the corner, looking in their direction.

(Why are they following us around? Do they want something? Well let's see) Xyno was amused by their actions.

While walking back home Chisato asked to sit down and rest in the park.

Xyno gladly agreed and both sit down on a bench and enjoy talking with each other.

Xyno notices that the kids were still watching them. He noticed that they were glaring at Sett who was curled up and was resting near Xyno's feet.

Apparently, they were amazed by Sett since they had not seen a Pokemon such as him.

Xyno gets up and walks up to them.

"You guys can come closer if you want to say hello to Sett, you know."

The kids get startled but come clean and say hello.

"H-Hello mister. W-We were just looking at you Pokemon. He looked so cool so we thought we could ask you to play with him." One of the kids who was a little girl spoke up.

"W-We are sorry if we interrupted you Big Sis Chisato." One of the bigger kid who looked like he was the oldest out of them spoke.

"Ben? Chtholly? James? Rosaline? Tommy? Wanda? What are you kids doing here?" Chisato asks as she looks over at them and recognizes the kids. She had a kind smile on her face.

"You know them Chisato?" Xyno raised his eyebrows while asking.

"Yeah, they are the kids who live in the orphanage near the Academy. I visit the orphanage very often and play and talk with them."

"Oh."

"Let me introduces you to them. The tallest boy here is James, he is 13 years old. Next is Ben who is 2 years younger and then this little kid is Tommy who is only 6 years old."

"Hello, mister," Tommy replies timidly.

Tommy being the youngest was looked after by all the other kids. He was the curious type and was the one who told the others about Sett.

"Hi, there!" Ben replies with a big smile on his face.

Ben was the competitive type in this bunch who is very energetic.

"Hello sir. Sorry if we disrupted your date with Big Sis Chisato."

James is a kind boy who being the oldest looks after the other kids, almost like a father.

"Date, huh" Xyno laughs inwardly.

"And these three young ladies are Chtholly, Rosaline and Wanda. 13, 12 and 10 years old."

"Hello mister. Sorry if we are being rude." Chtholly apologized.

Chtholly was the oldest among the girls and acted like a big sister towards all other children.

"Hello big brother Xyno. We have heard about you from Big Sis Chisato?" Rosaline greeted Xyno and smiled.

Rosaline was a sweet young girl who talked politely to everyone.

Suddenly Wanda, who was the youngest of the girls hugs Xyno.

"Big Brother, is it okay if we play with your friend?"

She asks if they can play with Sett.

"Sure. You can play with him."

"Sett, why don't you play with these kids for a while?" Xyno calls Sett who was dozing off.

He even thought of calling tiny but Tiny is lazy and maybe annoyed by the kids. Sett whereas, has an understanding personality.

Sett nods and walks up to Wanda.

Wanda sits down and pats Sett's head.

"Wow! His feathers are so soft and shiny!"

All the kids start petting Sett's head one-by-one. Which Sett clearly enjoys.

The children then go over and play with Sett all day. They had shining eyes and looked like they got some new toy.

"They are kinda cute, aren't they?" Chisato asked Xyno with a motherly smile on her face.

"Well, they sure look happy," Xyno replied.

Xyno fell in deep taught watching the kids nearby.

"Hey kids would you like to grab something to eat?" Xyno suddenly asked.

"Yey! I want a Hamburger!"

"Pizza!"

"Ice cream"

They were not shy at all, everyone had their own demands. That had something to do with the presence of Chisato.

Every time she visited them, she used to treat them to stuff they cannot usually eat at the orphanage.

"Then let's go" Chisato also said energetically.

Xyno visited a fast-food takeaway named Mime's Magic with the company. Mime's Magic is a popular fast-food chain all across the Yannan continent. It has Mr. Mime as a mascot.

Xyno even bought them candy and icecream.

The kids were both excited and happy and ended up playing with Sett the whole afternoon.

It was already five in the evening,. Inside a park, Xyno was looking at the surroundings with Chisato when Wanda came running and hugged him.

"Big brother, will I also have such cute pokemon in the future?" She asked with her cute puppy eyes.

Xyno looked down at the cute and small figure and smile.

"Sure, you will have a cute pokemon."

"But sister Martha said that we orphanage children can't become trainers." She said with a sad expression on her face. There were tears in corner of her eyes.

"Why not! You will become excellent trainers in the future." Chisato bent down and consoled the loli.

(They are just like me. I was orphaned at a young age as well. I know how lonely they feel without their parents. And becoming trainers is such an expensive task.) Xyno felt pity for them.

Xyno looked around. Watching the kids play with Sett, having smiles on their faces.

Xyno decided to present each one of the kids their own Pokemon.

They will have to work hard on their own but with the support of a pokemon with good talent, they will have some edge over others. That's all he could do for them.

"Ok kids, it's time you went back to the orphanage. The sister would be worried for you all"

The kids get upset but they hug Sett one last time and come over to Xyno

"Can we come and play with Sett sometimes, big brother?"

"Sure. Anytime you want" Xyno replies with a smile.

The kids get excited and head back to the orphanage.

"They are all small kids who lost their parents when they need them the most. I feel bad for them that's why I visit them often. Thank you for playing with them Sett." Chisato said while petting Sett.

(Present Day)

"Let's see. Starly for James, Bidoof for Ben, Budew for Chtholly, Aipom for Rosaline, Burmy and Wurmple for Tommy and Bertha. I hope the kids like their presents."

Xyno sets apart 6 Pokemon all of B talent for the orphanage kids.

"Now that that's done, I will send this Scyther over to Regina for here research and then sell these remaining Pokemon to the Academy for them to distribute to newer trainers."

The Academy provided Pokemon for trainers and people who just start their journey. For that reason they require Pokemon, so they are willing to buy Pokemon from any generous trainer who wishes to help them with this matter who has good Talent. Due to Xyno's 'Eye Of Identity,' he was able to sort out the good Talent Pokemon and caught only those.

Having set aside all the Pokemon and medicine Xyno brought back, he then decides to take a nap for some hours and sleeps on the couch.
