CHAPTER 63 – SPECIAL COMBAT (PART ONE)

In the previous chapter we see how Ash and his friends arrive at the Eevee Ranch a nature reserve for Eevee that radiated pure joy and happiness, where the Eevee lived with joy and without worries, there, there was also an Umbreon Shiny who had been rejected by his pack, grief-stricken, Koharu, who for a time felt that way, He decides to cheer on the Umbreon, succeeding in the process, however, at the least opportune moment, Team Rocket decided to show up, stealing the Umbreon and many of the Eevee in the process, now, Ash and Verity are on a rescue mission.

"Koharu, jump, Latias will catch you!" – I shouted.

"Ok!"- said Koharu.

And without hesitation she let go and fell on top of Latias, which destabilized her a little but soon recomposed herself.

"We have to save Umbreon and the Eevee, we can't let Team Rocket get away with it!" – Koharu said.

At that moment, I could see how Umbreon looked at Koharu with a worried face and there I understood, they had become friends and I could not allow Team Rocket to take these Pokémon.

"Latias use Dragon Pulse and try to break the net!" – I ordered.

Latias rose to the point where the net connected with the balloon and fired his attack, however, this only seemed to heat the net, but did not break it.

"It's useless, our new network is attack-proof, you won't be able to break it brats!" – laughed Jessie.

"It's not working!" – I said.

"What do we do now?" - asked Koharu worriedly.

But I have no idea, I can't think of anything, but I must not give up, come on Ash think about something...

"Let's concentrate all attacks on the network!" - said Verity.

Apparently Verity had managed to take down both Pokémon and was able to reunite with us.

"Tias" - Latias said to Latios.

"Tios" – Latios nodded.

"That we will do then, Latias use Dragon Pulse, Pikachu use Thunderbolt at full power!"

"Latios uses Dragon Pulse too!"

The three attacks directly impacted the network and at first nothing happened, but in a few moments, the network gave way and broke, falling to the ground at a high speed.

"Impossible!" – exclaimed theTeam Rocket.

But I did not have time to say anything else, you had to take the net, there were many meters of fall and nobody could survive that, the good thing is that Verity went ahead of me and caught the net on the fly.

"Come on Ash, do it!" - said Verity.

"Pikachu use Thunderbolt and send them to the sky" - I said.

"Pikaaaachuuuu!" - said Pikachu throwing his Thunderbolt.

The attack hit Team Rocket head-on, causing an explosion and sending them flying.

Jessie, James and Meowth: Team Rocket has been defeated again!

And so, they were lost in the sky, I always wondered how they were never hurt if they always flew hundreds of meters in the air, but I guess it's the magic of it all, secrets that one never wants to know and settles for knowing that it is like this and that's it.

After this unfortunate accident, we managed to return safely.

"Thank you so much for everything, I don't know what I would have done if they had taken Umbreon and all those Eevees, I really thank you!" – said Ron.

He was bent over and his voice radiated happiness so sincerity surely does not lack, but the problem is that surely they came for me, the question here is, How did they find out that I was coming to Paldea? Anyway, I'll find out in the future.

After his thanks, I made a face at Latias who seemed to understand and flew off again.

A few minutes later Latias appeared in human form, but when I looked at e-Nigma, she seemed a little suspicious of the fact that Bianca appeared just after Latias left.

"By the way, I know that the Latios is from Verity from literally I saw it, but why did a Latias suddenly appear?" – asked e-Nigma.

His look was one of suspicion, not that he needed to lie.

"Latias is my Pokémon, it's just that she doesn't like to be in her Pokéball much, so when we arrived Paldea, I let her explore the place, the reason why you didn't see her is because she can become invisible" - I explained.

Technically everything is true, only I didn't let her explore Paldea on her own, but with us, in other words, in her human form.

"Either way I find it impressive that you have a Latios and a Latias, it must have been quite difficult to catch them" - said e-Nigma.

"On the contrary, a lot of things happened and we became friends, they decided to come with us" – I answered.

"Well, I won't say anything else, i'm glad that all are safe and sound" - e-Nigma smiled.

For god's sake, thanks to the fact that she did not continue to insist on the subject, I just met her and I don't want her to know a lot about me either, after all, everyone has their secrets.

After this incident, we were able to enjoy the wonderful day that e-Nigma offered us, all the Eevee were lovely, we all played with them except for Koharu who seemed to have become good friends with the Umbreon and and even let her pet him.

The day proceeded normally and without further incident, the Eevee were rolling around the grass playing and screaming, Pikachu and the girls had fun with them and even let us feed them, but like everything good, it was time to leave.

As for the catch of an Eevee, well, it would be a waste not to catch one having so many and offering us one, so each one could catch one, however, at the moment we decided to send them to Professor Oak's laboratory, these Eevee were used to wandering freely and locking them in a Pokéball so long seemed cruel to me, the girls also agreed and sent their Eevee with Professor Oak as well and if you ask him, the Ranch had a Pokéball teleport machine, I guess that's how they transfer the Eevee, plus Professor Oak didn't seem to mind that Nancy and Verity left their Eevee too, as for the Umbreon...

"I know it may sound a bit selfish, but... How about you come with me?" – Koharu suddenly asked.

We all stared at the response of the Umbreon who stood for a few moments, fixing his piercing gaze on Koharu, but soon, Umbreon approached her and stroked her head against Koharu's leg.

"Welcome to the family then!" – Koharu said cheerfully.

Then she took out his Pokéball and let the Umbreon catch itself, now that I think about it, most of our Pokémon decided to accompany us on their own and Ash happened exactly the same, is this a thing of Ash's same fate? I don't know, but even if it is, I like it.

After this amazing day and getting a super interesting Pokémon like Eevee, we went back to the hotel room.

"Tomorrow will be the grand finale, so look forward to it!" – those were e-Nigma's last words before she lefts in his limousine for home.

When we walked through the hotel door we were so tired that when I realized it I was warm in my bed with Pikachu sleeping next to me.

In a few minutes e-Nigma arrived at her house and entered it.

To be the home of a world-famous streamer was quite humble if you ignored some luxurious things like numerous consoles, huge televisions among other things, but now, this did not matter to her, all she wanted was to lie in her bed as usual and watch TV until she fell asleep.

"The truth is that it was a very fun few days" – she said to herself.

Then she took out her Rotom Dex which floated in front of her.

"Miss e-Nigma I was sleeping, what do you want?" – said the Rotom yawning.

"Tomorrow will be the grand finale where Ash will appear in my stream, all I want is for you to pixelate his face" – said e-Nigma.

"Why does he want to pixelate it? I mean he is the winner of the contest, at first people will see him like the man who had the oppotunity to be with you, but with the days, people will forget about that, plus I doubt he will agree with that" - replied the Rotom.

"Normally I would agree with you, but guess what? It has a Latias and a Pikachu that looks super strong, if it were only the Pikachu it would not pixelate, but not every day you can fight against a Latias, do you know how many trainers fought with me with a Pokémon as interesting as Latias? I'm telling you, 0, that's why I want to fight against her" - She said.

"Well... I'm sleepy and I don't want to argue, if you want me to pixelate his face, then I will, now if you excuse me..." – said the Rotom.

And then he went back to sleep.

The good thing was that while she slept the mobile could continue to be used, so before sleeping, e-Nigma started to see a few things on her mobile and, over time, fell asleep due to tiredness.

Like the day before, we rested enough to get up with energy, plus the day was clear and sunny, not as hot as yesterday, but enough to make it pleasant.

Once we were all prepared, we went downstairs for breakfast, but while we were going to the hotel cafeteria, e-Nigma called me.

"Tell me" - I said, picking up the phone.

"Remember that today is the grand finale!" – shouted e-Nigma.

It almost left me deaf, couldn't She speak a little lower?

"We know that and we can't wait to hear what it's all about" - I nodded.

"Well, I'll see you in half an hour at the door of the hotel, I'll give you more details there!" – he said.

And then she hung up without giving me time to answer.

Since the day before she did the same, we were no longer even surprised and had a leisurely breakfast.

The girls had breakfast the same as yesterday, some buns, while I preferred to have some toast with milk for breakfast, in short, it was a good breakfast.

After this nice breakfast, we went outside the hotel where he was obviously waiting for the e-Nigma limousine like the day before.

*Note: First of all, although I don't mention it constantly, our heroes always feed all their Pokémon, only I think it's a waste of time to be putting it all the time.

After getting into the limousine, it set off for god knows where.

"Aren't you going to ask me what we're going to do today?" - asked e-Nigma.

"What shall we do today?" – I asked.

We were going to ask anyway, but we didn't have time to ask.

"Today will be nothing more and nothing less than our Pokémon battle and I have reserved an afternoon of partying with food" – replied e-Nigma.

"A Pokémon battle, do you want me to fight you?" – I asked.

"Yes, in a live stream!" – She nodded.

"I thank you... But I don't like to show my face to hundreds of people" - I said.

And it was true, even though I don't like them to see my face, at least for the moment, I also don't have the need to put up with some crazy fans I meet along the way.

"You know that by being a Pokémon trainer you will eventually become famous and you will have to show your face, right?" asked e-Nigma.

"Yes... I know, but at the moment I prefer not to show my face, I plan to do it in the Indigo League because that's where I want to be recognized for the first time, but apart from that, I prefer that nobody knows me until then, if you don't mind " – I answered.

Understand that it's not that I don't want to show my face, it's that I don't want to be recognized as the winner of the e-Nigma's contest, I want to be recognized once I stand out in the Indigo League and for being a good trainer, not for being a fan who was lucky, just that I didn't know how to say this without offending her.

"Hahaha, don't look at me like that, I had already planned to pixelate your face and your friend's faces but in return I want only one thing!" – laughed e-Nigma.

"What?" – I asked curiously.

"I want to fight your Pikachu and your Latias" – She said.
