CHAPTER 43 – UNWANTED CAPTURE

In the previous chapter we see how Ash loses to Jake in the flight competition, the good thing is that they arrived in Fuchsia City in time to rest in the Pokémon Center, there, he receives the call from Roxy and, after talking for a while, he had a sex session with his girlfriends, the next day our heroes decide to challenge Koga, however, it was in the Safari Zone so they have to go look for it, but first they decide to take advantage of their time there to see if they can catch new Pokémon.

With Ash.

I went with Pikachu somewhere, actually the Safari Zone is nothing like the one in video games, and to be honest I don't remember the one in the anime, but I'm sure it wasn't as big as this one, which contains Pokémon from all regions unlike the one in the Anime, that's right, I could see Pokémon that were not wild in the Kanto region, both from Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unnova, Kalos, Alola, Galar and even from Paldea, so you can imagine the large number of Pokémon existing there, no wonder it is so popular.

"Pikachu looks around, doesn't it look spectacular?" – I said looking at Pikachu.

"Pika pi" – asintió.

"I wonder, What habitat should we visit first, what do you suggest?" – I asked showing Pikachu the map.

That's right, the Safari Zone is separated by different habitats that emulate the natural habitat of the Pokémon, for example, forests where bug-type Pokémon appear, hot environments for Fire-type Pokémon, aquatic for Water-type, meadows for Pokémon like Tauros, in short, all kinds of habitats, I will not go into details.

"Pika pi" – Pikachu said pointing to an area of the map.

"Hmm, it's a good area, let's go" – I nodded.

The area he pointed out is a small forest not too dense, according to the map could inhabit Pokémon type Bug, Normal and Plant, a good area to start or at least that seemed to me.

The forest was almost 20 minutes from where we were, but when we arrived, as soon as we entered, we could already see how numerous Pokémon rested, jumped and played in the forest, Pokémon Bug like Spinarak, Ariados, Butterfree, Dwebble, some Crustle I also saw, Cutiefly, Ribombee, Nymble, Scyther, Budew, Petilil and some Normal type Pokémon like Meowth.

"Look at how much Pokémon Pikachu, do you think we should catch any?" – I said.

"Pika pi" – he said.

"Yes, I think it should be a strong one, what do you think?" – I asked.

"Pika pi" – nodded.

"But I also don't want one that's moody, I prefer a nice one" - I commented.

"Pika pi" – nodded.

"I knew you'd agree with me, let's see if we find any strong Pokémon, at least that works against Koga would be fine" - I said.

Pikachu and I continued searching in the forest, but there was nothing moderately interesting and/or strong that could be useful against Koga, so we decided to go somewhere else, the habitat of the Psychic Pokémon, but just as we were going to leave, we saw something curious.

It was a group of Bunneary with a Lopunny, apparently it was their leader or something, I must say that I do not plan to catch one, even if it has Mega Evolution, it is not for nothing, but let's say that Lopunny in my original world was the fetish of... people with peculiar tastes and when I thought about it it gave me a chill, that's why I won't catch it, but when I looked next to the Lopunny I saw something special, it was a Kadabra.

"Pikachu, a Kadabra, can be very useful against Koga" – I said as I pulled out a Safari Ball.

Carefully I approached the group, I must be silent because at the slightest noise I would scare the group of Bunneary and the Lopunny and consequently the Kadabra, but just when I was almost next to the Kadabra and I was preparing to launch the Pokéball, something happened.

"¡Chu!" – Pikachu sneeze.

From the fright I threw the Pokéball to where it was not, but the Kadabra saw me and automatically teleported from the place.

"¡Pikachu!" – I reproach.

"Pika pi" – he apologized.

"Haa... It doesn't matter, anyway, it wasn't a big deal, we'll find another one" - he smiled.

"Pika pi" – nodded.

Then I turned to see pick up the Pokéball that I had thrown by mistake, I could also observe how the Bunneary had run away, but I could not see the Lopunny anywhere, had he escaped when he was not watching or maybe...?

"God, don't tell me that..." – I said picking up the Pokéball.

Then I threw it with the hope that I had made a mistake, but no, really when I threw the Pokéball I gave the Lopunny which was caught in one.

"Punny!" - he said, approaching me with a smile.

"Nice to meet you" – I greeted.

"Punny!" - he said, hugging me.

My God, I caught the Pokémon I didn't want and on top of that it's a Lopunny, anyway, since I caught it I don't plan to let go, it can be very useful and it also has Mega Evolution, which is pretty good.

"Pika pi" – greeted Pikachu.

"Punny!" - she said, separating himself from me.

"Well, since I caught you, I hope we'll be good friends from now on" - I said with a smile.

"Pika pi" – Pikachu smiled too.

Now, some will wonder why my Pokéball did not disappear as in the anime and went to Professor Oak's Ranch as happened with Ash, the answer to this is easy and complicated at the same time, you will see by having more than 6 Pokémon you can have, the problem is that you can only use 6 in battle, no matter what happens that you can only use 6 Pokémon, it does not matter if the battle is official or not, so there are two alternatives, the first is to keep your extra Pokémon, which is what most trainers who did not get their initial through a Pokémon Professor do or send it to the ranch that each Pokémon Professor has to enjoy their freedom, but the Pokéball is not magically transported to the lab, but you have to transfer it yourself through a Pokémon Center.

As for Gym battles, once you have more than 6 Pokémon, you must register your Pokémon in an App so that when you go to fight against a Gym Leader, Elite Four, etc. You can only use the 6 previously registered Pokémon, otherwise, the Gym Leaders who have the same App will be notified if you take out an unregistered Pokémon, that is to avoid stolen or borrowed Pokémon and that you only fight with your own Pokémon.

Therefore, for now I will take Lopunny with me, since I can not take Mew out, Lopunny will be sixth Pokémon until the time comes, by the way, it should be said that nobody can see the Pokémon that are registered in your App, not even the creators themselves, since many trainers do not want it to be known that Pokémon they have, like me for example, the other Pokémon I don't care if they know about them, but I can't let people know about Mew yet.

That said, I immediately registered my six Pokémon in the App, namely Pikachu, Phione, Charizard, Floragato, Cyndaquil and Lopunny, a curious and varied team if I may say so.

"Well, I hope at least the girls caught something too" - I sighed.

Then I returned Lopunny to his Pokéball and we continued on our way.

Five hours passed and I could not see anything interesting, after the incident of Lopunny I could not find another Kadabra and I did not even see second evolutions, can you believe it? With how big it is and I didn't get to see anything beyond a Phantum, it's not that it's bad Pokémon, I like it in fact, but Koga's Pokémon aren't going to be weak and I can't catch a Pokémon that isn't at least a second evolution, so in the end I couldn't catch any other, anyway, Lopunny is not bad, I guess we can consider that I did not waste time here, right?

Anyway, we stopped to eat for a while and then went straight to the meeting point with the girls.

"Hi, I've arrived!" – I said.

It seems that I was the last to arrive.

"Hi, what took you so long?" - asked Nancy.

"I entertained myself by eating a little" – I said sincerely.

"No matter, by the way, how did you all go?" - asked Nancy.

"I don't know how to say it, but no evolution of Eevee called me, I saw many, not all, but they didn't catch my attention, I don't know if I explain myself" - Koharu said.

"As for my catching a Lairon, I was lucky" - Verity said as she pulled her Lairon out.

"Wow, not bad" - Nancy said.

"Yes, it's a very strong Pokémon and Aggron better not say anything" – I nodded.

"With this one I make my 5th Pokémon already, so only one is left to complete my team" – Verity nodded while stroking her Lairon.

Lairon accepted her caress at ease and seemed very comfortable with her, it seems that they became good friends in a short time.

"For my part, I also caught a strong Pokémon, I present Shelgon," Nancy said taking out her Pokémon.

Holy Moly really these girls didn't waste time catching very powerful Pokémon, and besides, they both have Mega Evolutions, which leads me to wonder if I did it on purpose.

Shelgon also seemed to have become good friends with Nancy as he looked at us as if we were a threat to her and stood in front of her.

"Don't worry Shelgon, they're friends and he's my boyfriend" - Nancy said, trying to calm Shelgon down.

He showed no signs of animosity after that and relaxed completely.

"And you Ash?" - asked Koharu.

"Well at first I wanted to capture a Pokémon that would help me against Koga, but let's say I had an accident... and in the end I caught a Pokémon I didn't want, but, anyway, say hello to Lopunny" – I said taking Lopunny out of his Pokéball.

As soon as Lopunny came out and hugged me, will he hug me every time he comes out of his Pokéball? Not that I care, but don't think I like furros, in fact, I was a hater, not toxic, but if a hater, I just want to make that clear.

"Wow, it's not bad at all, in fact, I would have liked to capture one too, where did you capture it?" – Nancy asked.

"Well, in this forest" - I said, pointing to the forest on the map.

"Did you really capture him there?" asked Verity, puzzled.

"Yes, why are you asking?" – I said puzzled.

"Well, because the habitat of Normal-Type Pokémon is literally on the other side of the map, specifically here" - Verity noted on the map.

"What, are you sure?" – I asked confused.

"Yes, totally, I mean I went there and saw a bunch of Normal-Type Pokémon" - he nodded.

"Ah, it's true, I was also there watching the Eevees, in fact, mine played with them for a while" - Koharu nodded.

"Then the question is, what were you doing there?" – I asked as I looked at Lopunny.

"Punny?" - she asked, tilting his head to the side.

"Haa... I guess he doesn't know, anyway, let's go find Koga" - I said.

"That's all well and good, but I have a question" - Nancy said.

"What question?" – I asked.

"Where's Koga?" - asked Nancy.

Holy Moly it's true, we forgot to ask where in the Safari Zone Koga was! What should we do now? The Safari Zone is huge, finding it would take us hours, which we do not have.

"It's true, we have only an hour left, how will we find it?" – Verity asked worriedly.

"Easy, I already knew this would happen so I ventured into one of those nursing homes and asked for him and found someone who told me his possible location" - Nancy replied.
