A lot of things happened during this year!
First, PkmnEats took off and was used in hundreds of cities everywhere. After all, it was a convenient service. Ace made a profit off that and forgot about it, it was basically a side project to spread the sales of Rotom Phone Dexes.
Second, the Pokemon Games were released and took off! The profit generated was basically a straight line! Directly shattering records of all other games in the industry, after all those games were not very good. Some strange ideas here and there, but nothing like Ace had done!

Money was now a number! The Games went crazy with sales in all regions because of the Professors' help. Even Cynthia played the game and publicly stated that the Hard mode tactics were beneficial for trainers to learn from.

Third, after looking at Roark going crazy with rage and frustration, Ace created a Live Streaming app for the Rotom phone. After hiring some people to start streaming (Elesa) more and more people started trying 'this Live Stream' thing.

Ace started practicing in this a few months ago, making, honestly, incredible progress. This Martial Arts technique was really amazing! Ace could even open up his own dojo! But he didn't.
That would be a waste of time for him. After all, he needed to train his pokemon and himself, he didn't have time to train anyone else other than Roark. Mainly because he wasn't teaching Roark martial arts, but how to be a good trainer with Byron's help.
At any rate, he upgraded his Spring again with the Regression Upgrade before showing Noibat the size device.
It could change his size to as big or small as he wanted!
With this in mind, Noibat evolved on the spot with happiness, turning into a massive Noivern! Ace even had to look up at him! He was a bit dumbfounded, honestly. Why were his Pokemon all huge except Perrserker and Sirfetch'd?
He forgot about this and Noivern turned into the size of his Noibat form, laying on Ace's head.
After all, he was nearly 15 feet tall! He was huge!
Just him flying above Oreburgh nearly scared the socks off the children.
Anyway~ The last thing was that the Professors were gathered again!
The reason was simple.
Byron found two Steelixes fighting and they looked different from normal Steelixes.
So, Today, Ace was looking at the new Steelix, feeling guilty. Ah…
This was probably his fault!
His crows mouth turned fiction into reality again!
One Steelix was smoother than normal with less jagged edges and a thick metallic sheen and large semi-circle jaw.
The other was sharper everywhere! Extremely sharp edges and spikes seemingly made of silver crystals, the whole Steelix looked as sharp as a sword!
The Professors were amazed and analyzed the Steelixes coming to the conclusion that one had better defense and lower attack while the other had higher attack and lower defense…
Ace face palmed. These two were probably Onixes that fed on the Vibranium and Adamantium in the Mines! Finally when they evolved into Steelix, they took on the traits of the metals!
Vibranium being the 'Ultimate Defense' since it nullifies kinetic energy and Adamantium being the 'Ultimate Offense' since it could slice through virtually anything!
Although Adamantium also had defensive properties… Unlike Vibranium, it couldn't completely nullify kinetic force! Just ask yourself, if Wolverine was hit with Thor's hammer would he go flying or not?
Well, Captain America took Thor's Hammer head on and didn't even move an inch!
Also, when Cap smashed his shield on Tony's armor in Civil War, if it was Adamantium, he would've been GG on the spot right? After all, in Wolverine, this guy accidentally sliced a ceramic sink like butter without any effort at all!
The point is, the Sink was cut clean, not smashed.
Anyway!
