Cynthia, The Cheater!

Cynthia looked at Ace and covered her mouth, chuckling, "Your Pokemon are lively, Ace!" Ace's lips twitched and he replied, "He's just a weeb." Cynthia tilted her head in confusion as Ace shook his head, "You're up next, Rampardos!"

Rampardos ran out from behind Ace, roaring on the field, scratching the ground with his legs. Cynthia nodded, "Earthquake." Ace said at the same time, "Earthquake."

Rampardos and Garchomp both stomped the ground, stones breaking out from the ground in the middle.

Ace said quickly, "Kick the Stones!" Rampardos ran over and kicked the stones at Garchomp, who crushed them, scoffing. Rampardos grinned and disappeared in the debris.

Cynthia looked over at Ace, who smiled at her mysteriously. She narrowed her eyes and said, "Earthquake again!" Garchomp stomped on the ground and everything started shaking. 

Ace didn't say anything and smiled, "Do you think I would let him Dig when you have Earthquake?" Cynthia paused and looked up, smiling, "Interesting." Ace shouted at the sky, "Meteor Head Rush!" 

Cynthia waited as Rampardos fell from the sky, hiding in the smog of Oreburgh. She smiled beautifully, "Great use of the environment, Ace!" Ace laughed, "It's not that simple!"

Cynthia raised her brows as Ace shouted, "Pick up speed, Rampardos!" Rampardos' head was covered in Rock Energy and coated in black as he kicked behind him. There was a soft bang as he sped up instantly!

Cynthia's eyes widened, "What?!" Oak raised his brows, "Huh?" Professor Kukui's eyes lit up, "Amazing! Why didn't I think of that!?" The rest looked at him and he smiled excitedly, "What Rampardos is doing is; Kicking the Air with enough force that it acts as a springboard and propels him forward. That's probably how he got up there in the first place!"

Sonia scratched her head, "He did it?" Magnolia looked over and Sonia smiled, explaining, "Ace told me about this a long time ago, before he left. He said that if Pokemon were strong enough they can do amazing things… Uhhh… He called it Moon Walk!"

Magnolia was surprised and Kukui asked excitedly, "Oh? Is there more?" Sonia racked her brains and replied, "There was 6… No 7! 7 moves. Moon Walk is stepping on air, Shave is propelling yourself forward…"

She frowned and remembered, "Finger Pistol is making your finger stab a hole in rock, Iron Body is tensing your muscles making them as hard as steel, Tempest Kick is kicking out hard enough to condense a blade of air pressure, Paper Art is making your body like a piece of paper, super flexible…"

She rubbed her head, "The last one… I forgot!" Kukui's eyes were bright, he turned to Magnolia, "You said that Ace is a Martial Artist?" Magnolia nodded and Kukui asked excitedly, "Can he use these moves?!"

Magnolia wasn't sure and Sycamore asked in doubt, "Can Humans perform moves like that?" Kukui looked at him and smiled, "Actually, with enough training, a Human can perform Fighting Type Moves." Sycamore was dumbfounded, "Really?!"

Kukui nodded and added, "Even some Normal Type Moves. I even heard some Aura users can use Aura Sphere!" Rowan nodded at this, "It's true."

Sonia was dumbfounded.

Ash and Gary watched the battle and cheered, "Come on, Ace!"

Meanwhile

Rampardos smashed down as Cynthia shouted, "Dig now!" Ace shouted, "It doesn't matter!" Garchomp dove into the ground as Rampardos smashed down headfirst, blasting out a bowl shaped crater in the field!

Garchomp popped out of the ground and slid on the ground, roaring in pain! Rampardos stood up shakily, shaking his head. Garchomp rushed over, "Dragon Tail!" Ace shouted, "Dodge, Rampardos!"

Rampardos turned but was hit by Garchomp's tail, getting sent flying into the edge of the Crater, unconscious.

Ace sighed and took back Rampardos, "Good job, Rampardos." he put the Pokeball away, looking at Garchomp with a frown. Don't think this battle is going well, this Garchomp is extremely strong!

If Ace had to put it in game terms.

He used ultimate moves with high consequences and each one only took off 1/8th of Garchomp's HP. Head Rush was a 150 Base Power move with STAB and the Speed increase but he barely did more than 1/7th.

Basically, 2 K.Os for 2/8ths of damage is a horrible ratio.

Normally, this would be a reset, because he's going to wipe here… But obviously, this isn't a video game. Not to mention, the situation only looked good because of his excellent commanding skills.

If he was rushing head first, he would've been losing miserably and it would be visible!

Now, it only looks like he's doing alright… Ace sighed and held his chin, thinking for a few seconds.

Do you want to surrender?

No…

It's respect to go all out.

He sighed and said, "Archeops!" Archeops flew out, landing on the field before flying up in the air. Cynthia looked up and smiled, "Rock Slide." Garchomp roared and stones appeared in the sky, falling towards Archeops.

Ace smiled and said, "Hold on, Archeops!" Cynthia was confused, "What? Why aren't you dodging?" she paused and looked up, "Wait!" Ace laughed and looked up as a piece of paper appeared, turning into light and covering Archeops.

Archeops roared as her Attack stats went up by 2 stages! 

Ace added with a mysterious smirk, "By the way, her ability isn't Defeatist!" Cynthia looked at Archeops, who disappeared, appearing somewhere else, "Speedboost?!" Ace clapped and said "Tailwind!"

A gust of wind appeared behind Archeops, boosting her speed again and then again. Cynthia frowned and said, "Dragon Pulse!" Ace commanded, "Roll to the right and swoop down!"

Archeops dodged the Dragon Pulse, shooting down near the ground as Cynthia shouted, "Dragon Claw!" Ace shouted "Acrobatics!" Cynthia's eyes widened as Archeops twisted strangely, dodging the claws and attacking with her own, flickering around Garchomp, scratching with her claws.

Cynthia shouted, "Bide!" Ace was dumbfounded, "WHAT?!" Cynthia grinned, laughing, "Now let it out, Garchomp!" Ace shouted quickly, "Fly up, Archeops!" Archeops flew up and Cynthia shouted, "It's too late, Ace! Garchomp follow her!"

Garchomp jumped into the sky, shooting after Archeops in the sky!

Ace shouted quickly, "Roll!" Cynthia had a cunning look in her eyes, "Copy Rampardos! Kick to the side!" Ace was stunned and forgot to command Archeops as Garchomp kicked the air on the side, turning on a dime and smashing into Archeops, sending her flying to the ground, fainted.

Ace looked at Archeops and turned to Garchomp that landed on the ground elegantly. He said in shock, "You learned Moonwalk?!" Cynthia rubbed her chin with interest, "Is that what it's called? It's really good! If I'm not mistaken, Sirfetch'd used a similar move, right?"

Ace laughed dryly, "Monstrous woman!" Cynthia chuckled and waved, "I can compensate you later… Besides, didn't Archeops use a different move too?" Ace was scared, this woman was a bit too terrifying, right?!

He suddenly heard the Game theme for 'Vs Cynthia' as he looked over at her.

He felt his blood boiling and he remembered the terrifying feeling of being dominated by the Champion in his previous life!

Ace took back Archeops, "You did great, Girl!" he licked his lips, looking at Cynthia with a fire in his eyes. Cynthia's eyes lit up and she waved, "Come on!" Ace laughed and waved forward, "Tyrantrum, come on!"
