Chapter 18 - Training and meeting Cynthia

Awesome. To think Articuno's level and moves are so strong.' Seeing the level of Articuno, Itsuki had a feeling that he could Articuno's level increase through training. Because Articuno since birth has never bothered to train, she was naturally born with Ice and flying moves. Over time she learned moves like Hurricane and Steel wings.

After seeing Articuno's power level, Itsuki really wanted to train his Zera to that level where his Zera would able to take on legendary Pokémon on Articuno's level.

'Maybe with Aura we can become even stronger.'

"Everyone it's time to train. Articuno, do you want to train with us?" Itsuki looked at Articuno who was talking with Dragonair.

Articuno…Arti…Articu..! (I want to rest in the beach,)

"Alright" Itsuki then turned to look rest of his Pokémons.

"Zera, from now on we will be working on your speed. I feel that your speed can still improve." Itsuki would have started Zera's speed training if he wasn't attacked by team rocket.

"Zera,,,ra,Zera" (I also think we should on increasing my speed.) Zera also nodded in agreement.

Itsuki tied some weights on her hack and told her train while wearing these weights. The weights was 2 bracelets, each bracelet was 10kg. After wearing the weights Zera's speed had decreased by half. She was having trouble moving her body.

Like Zera, Itsuki focused on building his Pokémons strength, speed and stamina which would give them huge boost during battle. Itsuki spent half of the day on building speed and stamina. After having lunch and one hour break, Itsuki still told his Pokémons to wear weights to try to polish the moves they have learned to next level.

Itsuki did not allow his Pokémons to stop training till sunset. After training every Pokémon of Itsuki was completely exhausted and tired. Only hunger kept them from falling asleep.

"Dinner is ready everyone." Itsuki told his Pokémon to wash their bodies before eating dinner.

"Articuno, I hope you like this. I especially made this for Ice-type Pokémon."

Articuno lazily lied on the beach and observed Itsuki and his Pokémons training with interest for the entire day. Articuno had always kept herself away from human civilization and did not interact with humans. But there is something special about Itsuki which attract her towards him.

Articuno! (Thank you, Itsuki)

Articuno was an immortal Pokémon; she does not need to eat food. But after smelling the delicious fragrant, Articuno for the first time in her life was feeling hungry and wanted to eat.

Articuno! (It's really delicious, Itsuki)

"Thank you for the compliment." Itsuki smiled and went to serve foods for his other Pokémons.

After eating dinner, Itsuki with his Pokémon choose to sleep under the bright and cold sky. The cold wind blowing from the sea made sleeping outside, under the sky really comfortable. Itsuki also let his Pokémons sleep outside. Itsuki did not know when he fell asleep.

The next two days, Itsuki trained his body with his Pokémons. Itsuki focused on polishing increasing his Pokémons speed, stamina and polishing their learned moves. Itsuki was trying to increase the proficiency of the moves that his Pokémons learned before. Itsuki also prepared meals that boosted his Pokémons health and kept them healthy. Itsuki let his Pokémons fight with all the wild Pokémons that he met during their stay.

43 days before Indigo League…

"I have decided, I will challenge Cinnabar Island gym after I finish my work. These past three days, Zera and others have improved tremendously. So I think fighting with Blaine's pokemon would definitely let me know how much my Pokemons have improved."

Flash steps: - Pokémon uses lightning to charge their bodies and increase their speed. When flash step used, Pokémons speed is increased by 50%.

Itsuki wanted a move that could increase Zera's speed, so Itsuki after some thinking thought of using Zera's lightning to increase her own speed. Fortunately the system was able to come up with the perfect way of teaching Zera this move.

Eevee and Dragonair focused on increasing the proficiency of the moves they had learned before. But Itsuki doesn't understand why Dragonair's level only increased by one. Maybe this has something to do with her evolution.

As for Magikarp, Itsuki taught it two moves and completely focused on increasing its speed and strength.

Itsuki now was waiting for his Magikarp to evolve. Magikarp have to evolve into his next form to learn other moves.

Itsuki packed up his stuff and was on his way to return to the city when he saw a girl whose age should be around 14 to 15. The girl had long golden hair, for some reason she looked very familiar to Itsuki.

The girl looked back and saw Itsuki.

'Isn't she…'

"Hello, my name is Cynthia. You see I am kind of lost in this forest." Itsuki was shocked. The Cynthia he knew was 33 years old but the Cynthia standing in front of him looked like she was only 15.

Cynthia is a tall, and slender young lady with wavy knee-length creamy blonde hair that has bangs covering her left eye. Her eyes are gray. She wears straight black leg trousers, a long black coat with a V neck and black fur rimming the cuffs and running down the end of the coat, and a large teardrop‐shaped ornament on the center of the coat, probably used as a fastener, underneath which she also dons a black top. Her outfit is finished with black kitten heels and a yellow stripe on each shoes. For accessories, she wore a large, black feathery ruff around her neck with two pairs of hair clips in her hair, both teardrop shaped and conjoined with a pale yellow stripe.

'She is really beautiful.' Itsuki has to admit Cynthia is the most beautiful women he has ever seen after coming to this world.

'I am sure Serena also has become more beautiful.' For some reason Cynthia and Serena's image overlapped in Itsuki's mind and made his heart beat increase.

"My name is Itsuki Kagami. I was on my way to the city. If you don't mind then why we don't go together." Itsuki did not stare at Cynthia too much because he did not want to give the Champion of Sinnoh region a bad impression. Thought Itsuki is not sure whether Cynthia is currently the champion or not because she is too young for that role.

"Sure, let's go together." Cynthia and Itsuki started walking. Itsuki started with by asking her some basic question.

"Cynthia, I am sure you are not from Kanto are you?"

"How did you know?" Cynthia asked with a surprised expression.

"Anyone can tell. Cinnabar Island Is a tourist attraction after all." Itsuki lied. Itsuki just wanted to start a conversation with her.

"Hahaha, that's true. I am from Sinnoh region. What about you Itsuki?" Cynthia looked at Itsuki few times while walking. Cynthia has started her Pokémon journey when she was 10 and has seen lots of things while traveling. But she never has seen such handsome man like Itsuki before.

"I just started my Pokémon journey 17 days ago. Now I am on my way to collect my 4th gym badge and hopefully I want to collect all the badges before the Indigo League starts." Cynthia could feel the strong resolution and determination in his voice.

"Really, I am also participating in the Indigo league." Cynthia looked very excited. Itsuki smiled bitterly in his heart. If Cynthia is participating in the Indigo League then Itsuki has no choice but to train even harder so that he could become strong enough to defeat her dragon Pokémon.

"How many badges have you collected so far?" Itsuki asked.

"I only need two more Badges then I can register for the Indigo League. I came to Cinnabar Island to get my 7th badge. But I lost my way in the forest. You see I have poor sense of direction." Itsuki smiled. Even in the anime Cynthia had poor sense of direction.

"Itsuki, why don't we go to Cinnabar Island gym together?" Cynthia was looking at Itsuki. Her eyes were filled with hopefulness which made Itsuki sigh. He did not have the heart to reject her offer.

"Actually, Cynthia I have some works to do which might require 3 to 4 hours. I came to Cinnabar Island for few reasons. One my reason for coming here is because I want to make a song which I did; I just have to do the final touch."
