The journey begins

Finn sits up on the couch unsure of where he is. He looks around and realizes that he is in a different house than when he went to sleep. He sees a light coming from the stairs, as he walks towards the stairs the light gets less and less bright. He starts to climb the stairs and hears what sounds like muffled sobbing. Finn looks to where he hears the sobbing and finds a brown door. He knocks on the door and says "Are you okay in there?" The sobbing immediately stops. "Can I come in?" A girl responds "STOP! What is your name" He answers "My name is Finn. What's your...….."

As he says his name the door swings open. The one who opened the door is a girl with reddish pink hair much like his, green eyes like his and glasses. The girl is wearing a black hoodie with a cat on it, and a black skirt. She had almost shoulder length hair, and tears streaming down her face. Her face looks astonished and surprised at the same time. She blinks a few times looking at his face. Finn "Are you ok? Can I do anything to help you?" The girl replies "I'd know that stupid face anywhere. I missed you so much brother!" As the girl says that she hugs him.

In the middle of the hug Finn says "Brother? What do you mean brother? I don't even know who I am let alone who you are."

The girl looks at him and drags him to a mirror. Finn looks at both of their reflections and then he looks back to her surprised. The girl says "Yeah, I can tell what that face is and yes we are twins. My name is Faith. Ya know, you had a nickname for me and loved it so much...."

Finn "I know that name but there is something that I can't put my finger on..... Hey Fae can you help me out"

Faith "Ok I'll help you. Now say that sentence again.

Finn thinks for a few seconds. "I said Fae didn't I?"

Finn looks down at his feet, almost looking defeated. Faith "Yeah you did"

They embrace each other again for a few moments and then Faith walks over and sits in the chair in the room. "I know that you don't have many memories and there are some things that I know but there are many things that I don't know. For the time being you are just going to have to recover your memories with time. At this time all I can tell you is that I'll always be with you.

Finn "What does that mean? I don't understand."

Faith proceeds to slowly chop at his head. "Just think about it more, dummy. Now you have to wake up."

Finn "Why? Can't I just stay here with you?"

Faith chops him again "DUMMY! Stop messing around and wake up!" Faith starts shaking him gradually stronger and stronger. "Finn wake up we are going to be late for our plane."

Finn "Wait.... Fae.... I don't wanna go. FAE! DON'T GO...…..

Finn snaps awake and sits up with tears in his eyes. Emelia grabs him. "Are you ok?" Finn shakes his head and wipes away his tears. He then gets up and walks to the door

Finn "So are we leaving or what?"

Emelia gets excited and runs out the door. Andrew grabs his keys and all three head towards their car. They then drive to the airport and Emelia and Finn hop on a plane after saying their farewells and they then depart for their destination.

Finn "So where are we going anyway, you've been hiding this from me all day while we were at the airport and now that we are almost there I would like to know."

Emelia "Well.....My dad called in a favor from someone that he has known for some time and apparently we are getting a place to stay and anything we need until we head on our actual journey. We can train our Pokémon and catch any that we can without any draw backs. Isn't that cool?"

Finn "I mean that's cool and all but you STILL didn't tell me where we are going."

Emelia "Oh, sorry. I got too excited. We are going to Olivine city. I can't wait to land so I can go out and see what the city looks like and what Pokémon are in the area."

Finn "Since you put it like that, now I'm excited too."

Finn and Emelia land in Olivine city and head over to gym. They both go inside and see that there is currently a gym battle going on between the gym leader and a trainer using a Houndoom. The gym has 2 boulders on the left side of the field, there are piles of destroyed rocks on the other half, and there are 3 giant holes in the ground.

Emelia "Is the battle over? I only see a Houndoom."

Finn "Just wait and see, there are many holes in the battle field. I bet you there is a Pokémon in one of them"

As if on queue A giant Steelix comes out of the ground with such force that the whole gym shakes. When Steelix comes out of the ground it slams into Houndoom knocking it unconscious. Both Finn and Emelia are sitting in the stands with their mouths open in shock of what just happened.

Referee "Houndoom is unable to battle, the winner of this bout is Steelix which means the winner of this battle is the gym leader Jasmine.

After the battle is over Jasmine and the trainer shake hands and discuss things for a minute. After that the trainer leaves and Jasmine starts to leave but Emelia stops her.

Emelia "Your Steelix is so strong and cool. I wish I was that strong."

Jasmine "Thanks. We have worked for a long time to be like this. Seeing as how you are very energetic and excited, you must be Andrew's daughter."

Emelia "Yes I am and this is Finn. He is going to be joining me on my journey."

Jasmine "Hello, my name is Jasmine and as you can see I'm the gym leader here and I'll also be the one taking care of you two while you are here in town"

Finn "I guess the pleasure would be ours then."

The three of them talked for a bit and then Jasmine took them to their hotel and got them checked in. "If you need anything just let me know, I'll see you guys soon."
