29: Menacing Gyarados

A huge blue dragonic-like head pierced out of the waters, it's long serpentine like body swimming aggressive along the waves.

"A gyarados?" Jake was startled as he noticed the gyrados, it was extremely hard to evolve a magic into a gyarados, not only that, this gyarados looked pretty strong.

"Get ready"

Jake turned to those behind him and reminded once again.

On the pirate ship.

A crew member laughed evilly as he looked through a telescope.

"Captain, this ship seemed to have came from vermillion city, to think our luck would be this good this month"

"Hmm, your right, but still don't let your guard down, such a huge ship must have a lot of guards" the captain who wore an eyepatch said with a smirk.

This captain was the owner of the huge gyarados which was rushing its way towards the cruise ship.

"With captain's gyarados, we should be unmatched in this sea" another crew member said as he drink beer and ate meet happily.

Almost as if looting huge ships was common to them.

"You guys take care of any weaker Pokémon that manage to try to reach the ship, leave that gyarados to me and jessy"

Jake said confidently as he stepped up, he then immediately threw a pokeball into the air.

"Lapras come out"

Boom!!

A huge lapras landed into the water beside the ship, causing the violent waves to rise once again.

Although lapras was deemed as a transport type Pokémon, it was actually pretty strong defense-wise.

It was a Pokémon which Leo would had definitely catch if he didn't already have Seadra.

It wasn't long before the pirate ship neared the cruise ship, although the pirate ship was smaller, it seemingly had a menacing aura in the guards eyes.

"Inform the captain to stop sailing, it will only increase their damage on the ship" the red haired guard lady said to one of the handymen on the ship.

"Jessy, assist me with this gyarados" jake said to the red haired girl, the gyarados looked extremely strong, as if it had been through countless life and death moments and grew stronger with each once.

It's menacing gaze had even pierced the sea water and landed on Jake, he wasn't planing to take this battle lightly.

"Come out tentacruel" jessy said as she threw up her pokeball.

A huge tentacruel landed beside jake's lapras, these were both their strongest Pokémon.

The huge gyarados twisted its body as its head slowly poked out, it was right beside the pirate ship as it gazed at the cruise ship.

It's huge body was astonishing to everyone, even Leo was slightly startled by its size.

The gyarados wasn't that wide actually, it was only scary because of its length and scary head filled with sharp and thick needle like teeth, almost like that of a lion.

"Do you really plan to battle it out with us? On the sea?" One of the cruise guard team members shouted as he noticed the pirate captain standing confidently at the front of the ship.

Before he could be scolded by one of the other guards, the pirate captain answered.

"Haha, of course I do, either give us everything on the ship, or we can kill a few people, along with your Pokémon, either way we will get what we want" the pirate captain was extremely arrogant.

His arrogant tone caused the guard team to be fuming with anger.

Who did this pirate think he was? Just because he had a gyarados?, so what?

Even though they said this, most of the guard members couldn't help but gulp upon seeing the gyarados which was casting its gaze on the cruise ship.

"Talking will never work with pirates, we just have to fight" jake sighed as he signaled to jessy.

"This gyarados isn't the only danger, don't forget about the other crew members" jessy gazed at the startled team of guards.
