Poisoned Love (An LGBTQ story)

"N-Nikki?" Sydney's voice shook as she spoke, and Nikki began to laugh. Her laughter started out soft but quickly rose in volume as she grabbed onto Sydney's arms. She then began to speak, less to Sydney and more to herself as reassurance, "It's all just one big misunderstanding isn't it?" she laughed a little, "Of course it is, you would never leave me, would you?" -------------------------- A small excerpt from a chapter in this book! It is an LGBTQ book, and is lesbian oriented. I noticed there weren't many lesbian books, or LGBGQ+ at all, so I decided to write my own down here. My editor and I strive to be the best we can be, so please tell us if this isn't very good that way we can fix it.

TRIGGERS

---------------------------

Nikki watched as Sydney slipped out of consciousness, smiling brightly as she realized she could break Sydney this way. Wrapping her arms around the passed out girl, she noticed her arms were a little sticky, and checked them, noticing the blood trickling from small wounds in her arms due to her nails.

She sighed, making a mental note to clean those up later. Nikki began to mess with Sydney's hair, making small braids in it then unbraiding them. She gently set her head in the crook of Sydney's neck, inhaling deeply and smiling as she realized she had kept her girl close, Nikki hadn't lost her precious girl. Sydney stirred a bit, and Nikki quickly shushed her back to sleep, gently running a hand through her hair in a soothing motion.

Nikki relaxed when Sydney slipped back into deep sleep. She closed her eyes, slipping into sleep herself.

When Sydney awoke, the first thing she noticed was the pressure on her front. The second thing was the stinging pain on her arms. The last thing she noticed was that her face was slightly damp. As Sydney regained her memories of what had happened the night before, she felt herself deflate a bit. She had caused the deaths of some of her closest friends. Nikki stirred on her chest, gently looking up into Sydney's eyes. She reached a hand up, cupping Sydney's cheek in her palm as Sydney leaned into it.

Nikki remembered the bloody marks on Sydney's arms, and sat up. Sydney attempted to follow her, wanting more of the comfort Nikki gave her. She laughed a bit, "Stay here Sydney, I'll be back in just a moment." She nodded slowly, relaxing back into a more comfortable sitting position as Nikki walked into an adjacent room.

When Nikki returned, she had a medkit in her hands. Sydney attempted to scoot away a bit when she sat next to her, but Nikki grabbed onto an arm around her to keep her still. Nikki took a cotton ball, putting some hydrogen peroxide on it, and set it against one of the cuts on Sydney's arm. Sydney let out a soft whimper, gently trying to pull away. Nikki clicked her tongue, continuing to gently press the cotton ball against Sydney's skin. Once she finished with one of her arms, she began to press plasters onto them, gently rubbing a part of Sydney's arm that didn't have plasters on them, soothing her a bit.

She pulled herself up and over to Sydney's other side, and did the same treatment to her other arm. Once finished she applied plasters to that arm too and rubbed it to sooth her a bit. Sydney leaned on her gently, her eyes going a bit glassy as she relaxed. Nikki pecked a kiss onto Sydney's head, pulling her backwards onto her back and lying next to her. They lied like that for a while, until Nikki noticed Sydney's breathing had evened out, and began to slip into sleep beside her.
