Dystopian today

Her eyes reminded me of the skies,

But it wasn't blue.

They were dark,

Just like me and you.

The skies I have seen,

Were never fairer than deep green.

But now that it is darker than before,

All the world is waiting for more.

Darkest before dawn,

Death through life,

Hell in paradise.

Won't make sense,

Till we truly see it all.

Hearts colliding all over,

Time flies even if you are sober.

Love lies,

Even as you hold her.

Everybody is feeling it,

But no-one describes it.

If you did,

They shall send you a prescribe.

Everyone is healing,

But even though they dread it,

They shall always need it.

Drunken alleys of the forgotten,

So much potential left rotten.

All eyes do see,

But they always let it be.

Fallen in the land of gold,

Where it's so dark,

You can't feel the cold,

Even as you try and approach the door.

Light shimmering through the cold steel,

Flickers the land of rolled ideals.

A plant gives peace,

They kill it.

The metal reveals heat,

They embrace it.

Everybody is smiling,

But never have felt joy.

Everyone is shining,

With their new yellow toy.

Even as the dark surrounds,

They shall never be found.

Where the dead remain living,

And the living embrace death.

Welcome to the dystopic world,

Where you currently live in.
