Two Ways Apart

Lexa was rushed in a city hospitap nearby her head was bleeding Layla was with her along with Kendrick they rushed her to the doctors. They were told to wait outside the operationg room.

"Does she have any relative whom we can call?"

"Yeah I already called her sister she will be here soon" Janet showed up she was very worried.

"Where is she what happened to her?"

"It's a long story Janet but first I need you to calm down"

"Calm down? How can I when my sister is in there fighting for her life, believe me Kendrick whoever did this will pay" Layla was staring at her, Janet was pressured.

"I can't believe I letted her join your stupid work"

"Am sorry but that is being taking care off, the one who did this is under the security untill Lexa wakes up she will not be able to see anyone not if we hear from Lexa her self either to file a suite or let this slide"

"I am sorry but that is our regulations in work no one files a report not unless the one complaint it herself"

"Okay her condition is stable for now, we gave her antibiotics to make sure her wounds don't get infected she is in rest now. If anything goes well she will be ready to leave by tomorrow"

"Thank you doctor I will stay with her for tonight"

"Okay this way please" Doctor was taking them to Lexa's room Janet stopped Layla and Kendrick.

"I get it from here, your work is done go home and take care of yourselves this is family issues now" Janet left with the doctor. She was brought inside Lexa's room she her resting.

"Theres a couch over hope you won't mind sleeping on it"

"Okay thank you" The doctor left. The other day morning Layla was in the club going to see Ruby the guards stopped her.

"Move I want to speak with her"

"I am sorry but the master said not to let anyone inside untill Lexa gives her statement"

"I said I want to talk to her is that a hard thing to do?"

"I am sorry but we have our orders"

"Bastards" Layla was angry she walked away she went to Kendrick's office she saw him having sex with one among the woman in the work.

"Wow one of your employees is in the hospital and all you care is having sex?"
