Take Over

Alita continued to follow them, even after Laurence caught up with Aurora and dragged her into a dirty and disgusting room in the underground part of a huge mansion.

The only thing she could see in the room was a bed that she doubted had been slept on for five years.

"What are you doing, Laurence?" Aurora queried in extreme apprehension. She didn't know where he had brought her or what he intended to do to her.

All the time she had stayed in this palace, she didn't know a place like this existed. She knew of the dungeon, but this place wasn't the dungeon.

"Don't speak my name again. If you mention my name again, I will cut off your tongue." Laurence threatened, still dragging her further into the room. Aurora made a mental note not to say his name again as she knew too well that he does not dish out empty threats.
