XU KAI'S CHAMBER

Feeling the early morning sun , Xing rolled on the bed with a beaming smile hugging the pillow beside her tight.

She opened her eyes and looked around ,Xu Kai wasn't in the room , she suddenly heard the door open and she shut her eyes immediately, she could feel Xu Kai presence in the room and her nervousness increased.

" Stop the act and get out " He said , pulling the duvet from her body.

" Good morning , your Highness" she smiled dryly as she stood up and ran out of the room.

" Why is she acting so strange , not like we did anything? " Xu Kai scoffed.

Xing Su ran as her legs could carry until she reached the maid quarter. She quickly opened the door and sneaked into her room.

" Why have you been??" Chu Chu asked, folding her arm .

" Actually , I….I…. That's a long story" she shakes her head and sits on the bed.

Chu Chu stared at her before she sat beside her.

" I missed you so much, but xing Xing?"

" Yes , what now ??"

" Why did the prince save you , he lied just to save you , that's strange" . She said and Xing turned to face her.

" I don't really know , but am glad he did , I would have been a dead meat by now , I think I talk too much right?" She said touching her lips.

" One of reason you father always hide from people " Chu Chu rolled her eyes and Xing hit her little.

" What are the two of you doing inside here" A familiar voice said and they both signed and turned.

It's Yu Yan and her minors , standing right in front of them.

" Don't you really get tried of picking up on someone" Xing rolled her eyes.

" Wait , you think because , prince Xu Kai made you his personal maid , you can now go around talking to people anyhow " one of the minors said

" Thinking about it , guess you seduced him, cause there's no way he would wanna make such a trouble maker like you his personal maid" Yu Yan said and Xing slowly bit her lower lips.

" Not like I was the one that made you ugly , you try seducing him " she smiled , Yu Yan immediately folds her fist angrily.

She rolled her eyes at them before she dragged chu chu out of the room.

" She will never stop being a jinix , will she?" Chu Chu muttered and Xing chuckled.

" Don't worry , your Xing Xing is here to save the day " she smiled proudly.

XIO CHI'S CHAMBER

XIO chi smiled lightly as she stared at herself in the mirror , they maid were busy with her hair and nails.

" What do you think my lady ?" Yu Yan asked , she was the one who styled her hair.

" I love it " Xio chi smiled .

" I know you would " Yu Yan smiled.

" Your the prettiest woman on earth " Xu fen smiled hugging her from the back.

" You seem happy " She said standing up.

" Good morning your Highness " Yu Yan smiled and Xu Fen nodded to her greetings.

" Should I get something for you " Yan asked and Fen shakes his head.

" Leave us alone " he added and Yan bowed before leaving.

" I heard what happened yesterday??" Fen Said and xio chi sighed and sat back on her seat.

" I will do everything to get rid of that good for nothing " she said hitting her hand on the table slowly.

" Who are you to get rid off , the miad or Xu Kai "

" Both " she replied bluntly.

" I heard that an outbreak of diseases in the village " Fen said trying to cut the discussion off.

" Really ??" She paused touching her cheeks.

" You don't seem surprise , do you know already "

" You know your mother will always be the first to hear things, besides not like I care much about those low Life" she smirked rubbing her lipstick on her lips.

" Low Life ??, Every single life matter mother, do you even hear yourself mother?" He scoffs, staring at his mother who seemed less concerned.

" Yes I do , life is all about the rich, the poor get what the deserve okay, whatever diseases is going on , it's not coming into the palace, so don't bother yourself " she smiled , standing up.

" I need to see your father , the king " she said leaving her room.

Fen stood there , wandering what was wrong with his mother, when will she ever stop acting so selfish and over egotist .

PALACE FIELD

Xu Kai and Lee Wu were at the Archer stand , shooting their arrows across.

" Ten points " Xu Kai grinned. He took an apple and threw it across and shoot the arrow across. The arrow got the apple and they both landed on the archer point.

" You don't really have to show off " Lee wu rolled his eyes . " So….?"

"Why I saved the maid right?" Xu Kai shakes his head and pulled his arrow.

" Yes , you always read my mind "

" I don't actually know , just felt like Saving her " he replied and Lee chuckled.

" Really ?? Do you know go around saving people , woow , what's should I call you now ?? " He scoffs and Kai rolled his eyes.

Just as they were talking , a guard rushed in , with a letter in his hand .

" Your highness " he called bowing down.

" What is it ?" Xu Kai asked taking the letter from his hand.

He opened the letter and read it , it was a massage from the minister of health , he just granted his request to investigate the disease outbreak.

" You may leave " Xu Kai said and the guard bowed before he left.

" Are we going now ??" Lee Wu asked and he nodded.

" Hey , you " Xu Kai called one of the guards.

" Yes your Highness "

" Go get my personal maid "

" Personal maid ?? Am sorry but do you have a personal maid??" The guard asked staring at him confused.

" Of course I do , Just get Xing Su" he added and they guard left.

" Are we really going with her ??" Lee asked and Kai neglected his question.

" Why do I feel like you suddenly want to replace me huh ??not like she's good in anything" he hissed .

" Actually , come to think of it ,am tried of you Lee , I need a new personal assistant " he said and Lee frowned.

" That will not happen , not under my watch" he said and Xu Kai turned and faced him.

" What did you just say ??"

" Huhhh?? I didn't say anything " he swallowed nothing and Kai kicked him in his butt.

After what seems like forever , xing showes up.

" You sent for me, your highness " she bowed .

" Yes ,you will be going out with me " he said as he got on top of his horse.

" Out with you ? You mean out of the palace?" She widened her eyes and Lee nodded.

Lee climbed on his horse and brought out his hands for her and she hit it down.

" What did you think ??" She rolled her eyes and climbed on one of the horse nereby.

Lee and kia both stared at the way she climbed the horse without even shaking.

" You seem quite talented " Lee scoff as they drove out of the palace.

MINISTER OF DEFENSE HOUSE

A guard immediately rushed in , and the door to the peng's house was open for him.

Seems like he was a regular guest.

" Your Excellency" he greeted with his head bowed.

"What is it " minister Peng who was writting, asked without looking up .

" The prince , Xu Kai , has received a letter from the minister of Heath to investigate the disease outbreak." He said and Peng immediately dropped his pen.

" Has he gone already?"

" Yes , my lord ,he left few minutes ago and I rushed to inform you" he said and Peng folds his fist angrily.

" Why does he always get on way " he groaned hitting his hand on the wall.

" Go after them , keep a close eye on them" he ordered and the guard rushed out.

IN THE VILLAGE

Lee , Kai and Xing , got down from their horse as soon as they reached the village hospital.

They entered inside and xing covered her noise , everywhere was smelling , just by staring at the swallowing face and rashes on their face one would surely throw up.

" What's all this " she said looking around. " What's wrong with them?"

" We don't know yet , but whatever it's , it must be from what the ate" Minister of health said and Xing shakes her head in sympathy.

" How many new case do we have ?" Kai asked as he kept checking their body.

" Twenty new case" the minister replied.

" What ??, That quick "

" Yes , actually , we had a new case , a family died after having their dinner last night , this morning , the where found with this symptoms on their body.

" Get me the sample of thier food " he added and the minister nodded leaving to get the sample.

Xu Kai turned and met Xing who was already tearing up , as she kept staring at a little girl who was beside her dying mother.

" Hey " Kai called and she turned cleaning her tears.

He sighed and took her hands and left the room.

" You can stay here , if you can't withstand the view" Xu Kai said .

" That's so painful " she broke down in tears and xu Kai stared at her .

He moved closer to her and slowly cleaned her tears with his hand.

" It's okay " he muttered pulling her to a hug.

Lee came into the scene and immediately clears his throat, making them to disengage, xing immediately wipped off her tears.

" He has the sample here " Lee said and Kai nodded going inside. Lee stared at her for some second before he went inside.

After some minutes they both came out .

" Let's leave" Kai said climbing his horse. They all climbed thier horse and went back to the palace.

They entered into Xu Kai's chamber and shut the door behind.

" Do you need anything, your highness?" Xing asked.

" No, but don't leave yet , I meant need something , soon " Kai said and Xing nodded.

KING'S CHAMBER

" Is that really hard for you to do ??" XIOA chi asked the king , who was facing the window.

" You should know by now that as a king , I can't just do thing without thinking it out." He replied.

" Thinking it out?" She scoff ," for how long do you need to think about it , your the king for crying out loud" she shouted and the king looked away.

" Don't I deserve to be the queen ?? Tell me , don't I ???" She shouted and the king held her hand.

" You need to have some rest , don't over stress yourself " he said and she removed her hand.

" Of course I need some rest " she rolled her eyes leaving.

The king's assistance immediately showed up , looking like someone who has enough to say.

" Are you really going to make her the queen now ?" He asked and the king shakes his head.

" That's will be a wrong idea , I have to make Xu Kai the crown prince first, if not there will be war in this palace , and I don't want that" he sighed going back to his room.

XU KAI'S CHAMBER

Xu Kai came out from his room and met Xing already sleeping on the seat.

He stared at her for a while before he removed his royal robe and covered her.

Xu Kai stared at her and wondered if she was the reason why he slept soundly, it was like he didn't even have the nightmare last night . He could clearly remember the way she held him, it made him feel so comfortable.

For the first time in a very long time , he didn't really have those nightmare.

" How can you find out if she's the reason you slept perfectly , if you don't sleep with her again" his subconscious mind whispered and he sighed.

He immediately carried her , he went straight to his room and laid her down.

He slowly climbed on the bed , he tried so much to avoid making noise in other not to wake her up.

He moved closer to her and pulled her closer , thier face leaving no space .

His eyes ran through her whole body. All of a suddenly he felt his brain leaving his head as crazy thought kept coming in.

He can't denial the fact that she was really beautiful and tempting.

He suddenly gulped down and shut his eyes to avoid doing something crazy.
