Chapter 18: First day of school

I'm feeling excited today because today is the day I go to UA. Last two weeks were hellish days for me as I had to do all kinds of chores, I cleaned the whole house thrice. She made me clean every nook and cranny of our house if she noticed a small peck of dust she asked me to redo it.

From today onwards I'm free from that and I can go to UA and enjoy my time there. I packed my books and stuff necessary for the first day. I know eraser head would make us do the Quirk apprehension test so I should be on time there.

I said bye to my grandma and asked our driver to drop me in school. After 20 minutes we reached our school and I got off the car and started walking towards the gate.

I asked around and found my class oh it's 1-A. I entered my class and I looked around the class and vaguely recognise everyone. You know convert 2D pictures into 3D people.

I saw bakugo - the thug,

kirishima - Friends with everyone,

Yaomomo: Genius princess

Aasui Tsuyu: Quiet but friendly

Toru: John Cena

Sero hunta: This guy is into everything

Denki: funny guy with with powerful quirk

Mina ashido: The girl who lights up in any kind of mood.

Mezo shoujo: Silent but kinky

Tokoyami: Chunnibyou

Mineta: The funny pervert

Iida: serious guy even while watching Tom and Jerry

kyoka jiro: Outgoing but shy

Aoyama: Vain but insecure

ojiro: The only thing that stands out is his tail

Rikido sato: He has a mouth that looks like KSI's when he says platinum.

Todoroki: Moody guy with daddy and mommy issues.

It's seems ochaco and midoriya are not here. I think I replaced koda. Poor guy, he was a nice guy. He might be in class 2B. The moment I enetered the class Aoyama looked at me and waved his hand.

Aoyama: Bonjour Kenji-kun. You look excited, is it because me being so mesmerizing?

Kenji: Hello Aoyama as always you greet in the strangest way possible.

Aoyama: Non non, don't mind the small details.

Kenji: When did you arrive?

Aoyama: Like 1 hour earlier.

Kenji: Wow, you are early, did you make any friends?

Aoyama: I think they are just too shy to talk to me.

Kenji: ..Ahem. Anyway I think we should take the seat becoz it's almost time for the class.

Aoyama: Ok, let's discuss during the break.

I said bye and sat next to bakugo. As I sat down I heard Iida arguing with Bakugo. I didn't mind it and sat down and looked around everywhere. It's very exciting to sit among the people who you once considered characters. I'll talk to them and make friends and live a fullfilling high school life.

As I was day dreaming I heard the door open, there stood a green haired guy who looked around the room and had a panic attack. I hope he is ok. Then Iida walked toward him and they were on about the things happened in the entrance exam. Then I got a glimpse of a man in a yellow sleeping bag crawling in front of the class like a catterpillar.

The caterpillar man: If you want to socialize and make friends I think you should get out of the class and do it.

When they saw him everyone jumped on to their seat.

Eraser head: it took you guys 8 seconds to quiet down. I'm your homeroom teacher Aizawa. Can you see this gym outfit, wear it and meet me in the play ground.

Ochako: What about orientation?

Aizawa: This is hero school, you don't have any time to waste. If you want orientations just go to some ordinary school.

Shi*. This guy is intense. Just after 2 minutes of entering the class he made everyone tense.

Everyone got ready and headed down towards the play ground. I changed my clothes and headed towards the ground. Everyone was talking with eachother to socialize and get to know their future classmates.

We gathered in the football ground. I suddenly felt someone coming closer to me. I turned around and looked at the person, it was Mina ashido.

Mina: Hello, Kenji - kun. I'm Mina Ashido nice to meet you.

Kenji: ..Hello but how did you know my name?

Mina: I just heard you and aoyama kun talk to each other. I heard he was saying somthing about waiting for his 'lesser shiny friend'- Kenji. Isn't that you?

Oh my god. What is this guy doing? If he does these kind of stuff everyone would think I'm the same as him. I should clear up my name. I started to blush in shame without me knowing.

Kenji: Oh, it's nothing. He just likes posing but please don't see him in wrong light as he is a very good guy.

Mina: Oh ho. You are supporting aoyama kun so much are you a couple?

Kenji: What? no. hell no. We are just friends.

Mina: Haha, just kidding. You should have seen your face.

Kenji: You look beautiful when you laugh.

Mina: Wh..wha..what?

Kenji: Just kidding. You should have seen your face. It was so funny.

Mina: Kenji kun no Baka. You will be single for the rest of your life.

Mina just shouted and ran away.

Kenji: oi wait. Is this a curse, ne is it really a curse. Nooo. please take it back. I don't want to be single for the rest of my life.

As we were making this ruckus the whole class adjourned in the specified location. Aizawa sensei also reached here carring a device and a ball.

Aizawa: Everybody quiet down. Now we are going to conduct your quirk apprehension test. This test will show us how you use your quirk in differnt actions and we would also know your quirk's strength and weakness.

Aizawa: Yamamoto, you were the one to be placed on top in the entrance exam come here.

Everyone looked at me when he just said that. I didn't mind and went forward and stood infront of Aizawa sensei.

Aizawa: What is your maximum distance in baseball throw in your middle school?

Kenji: It's about 120 meters.

Aizawa: Ok now use your quirk and throw the ball as far as you can.

I got the ball in my hand. Previously I was thinking how should I deal with if someone finds out about my strong physique. After serious thought and remembering every fanfic I read to search for an answer, I came to a conclusion. Why should I show it as a seperate power, why not integrate it into my quirk just for the show. If someone asks I'll just tell them that the enhanced physical strength is due to my quirk.

It maybe full of loopholes but I couldn't think of anything better. I also had an idea of telling people that I practice ancient martial arts, but who would believe me in this modern and quirk filled society that there is a martial arts that can increase your body strength to that extent.

I threw the ball lightly in the air and made my feet transform into claw and caught it. Then I did a somersault and threw the ball with half my strength. It flew at an extreme speed and broke the air barrier. The ball flew to a long distance and fell down.

Everyone there were flabbergasted at what I did just now. No one expected me to be this strong it seems. I shrugged and left the circle and waited for the result.

Aizawa: 1.56Km.

Kirishima: Wow. this is awesome.

Mina: This looks fun.

Aizawa: Is it now? It will take three years for you all to become heroes, are you planning on continuing this course with same attitude? Yosh, Whoever comes last in the apprehension test will be expelled.

Ochako: But today is the first day. You can't expel us.

Aizawa: oh ho. This is hero course in UA, here teachers have every right to handle these issues. It is within my power to expel any student I deem unfit.

Everyone was panicking. He sure knows how to make people stand on their toes.

I joined the remaining class, then I saw bakugo come in my direction.

Bakugo: Oi, bird feet, don't think that you are a big shot just because you scored first in entrance exam. I'll beat you up and I'll reach the first place.

Kenji: and what? Are you going to become a Magic king?

Bakugo: Huh? What the hell are you blabbering about?

Kenji: Haha, nothing. Try your best.

Bakugo: Huh? who will try my best. Try my best my a*s. I don't even have to try my best to beat you.

Kenji: Ok, but is it ok for you to ignore him?

Bakugo: Who?

Aizawa: Oi, are you bakugo? What are you doing standing there like an idiot. I have been calling your name for the last minute. If you don't come here now I'm going to reduce your final score.

Bakugo: Ah, I understand. I'll be there.

Kenji: Be careful bakugo kun.

Bakugo: Who are you telling to be careful? He asked angrily like I was going to steal his food.

Kenji: Oh, I don't think it's ok for you to stand here and argue with me.

Bakugo: I'll deal with you later.

Oh shit. That was fun. It's always gives a pleasent feeling when you make fun of a tough guy.

The quirk apprehension test went according to the plot but the only change is that I was placed first or second in most of the event.

I couldn't get first in ball throwing, side to side jumping and 50 metre dash.

Then midoriya's ball throwing incident happened. I got to be honest here, it looked so damn cool when he used his power from the tip of his finger and his response to aizawa sensei's previous statement, that he is not qualified to be a hero. I don't care what everyone says about him, to me, he is a cool guy.
