Did The Boy Want To Start A Fight

Inside the Tang Mansion, the Tang, Kang and Lu family members gathered around a table.

Due to the sheer volume of people who had come, Tang Bingyi had decided to take two separate tables and join them into one big table.

By then, Kang Nianxi and Wang Tingting, who had planned on staying before had gone home due to Wang Tingting feeling sick and since, Kang Mu didn't want to leave Feng Zhengyi alone for too long, for both her sake and the sake of the ones who worked inside their home, Mo Ruyi and Kang Mu had also gone home.

Meanwhile, Kang Liu Ran had also planned to stay, but just as he, Lu Xia and Tang Bingyi had gotten to the Tang residence, Lu Xia had gotten called in for her to perform emergency surgery. Not wanting to be somewhere without Lu Xia, Kang Liu Ran offered to drive her to the hospital and stay with her.

This left only Elder Kang and Kang Jun as the only older Kang's in the Tang residence.

Entering the room hand in hand, Lu AnLing and Kang Jun walked like royalty. This caused the entirety of the room to turn and look at them.

On one side of the table, all the Tang's sat, with the exception of Elder Tang who sat at the head of the table.

Tang Yiling, who smiled arrogantly sat in the middle, right beside Tang Yian who still looked a bit sickly due to the fact that his headache had not passed.

Looking at the table, Lu AnLing felt herself frown but she stopped herself.

Looking at the table, Lu AnLing noticed that there was a table aside reserved for the kids, and the kids saw it too, however, Lu Yuxi, said,

"I'm not hungry..."

Hearing this Kang Mei Xue, who held onto both Kang Mingyu and Lu Yuxi's hand said, "Me neither..."

Lu AnLing smiled, "If you're not hungry, you don't need to eat now, but you guys should eat later."

Hearing this, the kids nodded and then, Kang Mingyu said, "Sitting here will be boring though... I want to go exploring."

As soon as he said that, Lu AnLing was going to reject this idea, but before she could speak, Lu Yuxi screamed,

"Yes! Let's go exploring!"

Once again, Lu AnLing was going to reject this but then, Tang Bingyi, who had lifted herself off her seat, and had walked towards the couple and three kids, said, "Sure, you guys can go anywhere you want. Just don't go outside."

Hearing this, both Kang Mingyu and Lu Yuxi's eyes shined before they ran out of the room.

Seeing this, Lu AnLing frowned hard but then, Kang Mei Xue, who had not left with her siblings, pulled on Tang Bingyi's pants and she said, "Thank you,"

Looking down at Kang Mei Xue, Tang Bingyi couldn't help but smile a bit and then, Kang Mei Xue smiled back.

"It's no problem," Tang Bingyi said calmly.

Watching the scene, Lu AnLing couldn't help but smile. Tang Bingyi and Kang Mei Xue were quite similar in a sense. Both forced to grow up a bit too quickly, but what made this feel truer was that in one way, the two were blood family. In certain angles, Lu AnLing could swear that Kang Mei Xue even looked a bit like Tang Bingyi...

Though this was only in her mind.

Once Kang Mei Xue began to leave, Lu AnLing said, "Be careful not to touch or break anything,"

Hearing this, Kang Jun added, "and watch over your brother and sister!"

"Yes mom, Yes dad!" Kang Mei Xue said as she ran out of the room.

After seeing their daughter leave, both Kang Jun and Lu AnLing let out a sigh before they turned and followed Tang Bingyi to the table.

Truly, Lu AnLing wanted the kids to stay with them, but considering how the night might end up going in a very awkward direction, Lu AnLing felt slightly glad that the group went exploring.

Once Lu AnLing and Kang Jun took a seat, the whole three families began dinner.

Tang Bingyi, had planned everything perfectly, even who sat where and so, Lu AnLing sat beside her mother and husband, and right across from her father, Tang Yian. It was a strange position, due to the fact that sometimes she would make awkward eye contact with the man, but all in all, it was the right one.

She would have to thank Tang Bingyi later.

As they finishing eating, Tang Luoyi turned to Tang Yiling who he sat beside him and he said, "Congratulations on winning the contest, cousin, you deserved it, you were amazing."

Hearing this, Elder Tang almost choked and then he lifted his head to glare at Tang Luoyi. Did the boy want to start a fight?!

Tang Luoyi felt this glare but he pretended he didn't notice.

Meanwhile, Tang Bingyi scoffed.

"Technically, it's still a tie. They both won over one panel of judges." Tang Bingyi said with no shame. If Tang Luoyi wanted to attack Lu AnLing in such a way, in favour of Tang Yiling, Tang Bingyi would do the same. "Also, Luoyi, notice that it's really rude to say such things in this kind of setting. You have very bad at timing."

Hearing this, Tang Luoyi's face darkened.

Seeing this, Tang Yiling crosses her arms across her chest

"Do you have something against us or something? It's not like you're so perfect!" Tang Yiling sneered at Tang Bingyi.

This caused Tang Bingyi to roll her eyes and then she said, "I have nothing against either of you, it would be a waste of my efforts"

This time, it was Tang Yiling's face that turned dark.

"Why you little—" Tang Yiling started but she was cut off by both Tang Yian and Elder Tang, who spoke in unison.

"Enough!" Tang Yian screamed.

"Kids. Please. Just stop." Elder Tang said with exasperation. He didn't understand why his grandchildren had to pick today or all days to argue.

"What?" The three said in unison, even shocking themselves.

Hearing this, Lu AnLing laughed gracefully.

Due to her laugh, Elder Tang and Tang Yian who had had their focus completely on the three Tang children turned to Lu AnLing with slight confusion.
