——————————————————————————————-

[Nyarlathotep POV]

I had been in the beginning and I would be in the end of all things, but I wanted more than that, more than I had, more than I could ever have, I wanted to rule all reality, making humanity, gods, demons and everyone else in between suffer beyond the limitations of my prison in the outer.

I wanted to be free of the shackles the long dream of Azathoth had created, and Adam was the key for that success, a better attempt at creating a door than Ugga-Naach, and it was no surprise it wash I had not only handpicked Leto for her unique power to create children with exceptional capabilities, but I had also picked Adam, a sick kid from the magicless reality where all realities leaked.

I had given him all the tools to succeed in his life, the Griamore, a new beginning, and so much more, I had reincarnated him a meaningless human into an outer God, one that would live through my waking.

Everything was falling according to my plans, and soon Adam would be the first functional gate to all realities, the first functional gate able to withstand the passing of an outer God into the physical realm.

I could almost taste it, the utter despair of all living beings witnessing the end of times, the futile attempts of the so called Gods trying to repel me, what a wonderful sight to behold it will be, for now though, I had to wait… wait for Adam to complete a few extra steps into his descend to madness.

"I will never help you," I could still hear his voice echoing in my head, poor foolish boy, everything you have done, it's because I have willed it, freedom has never been within your grasp.

[Lilith Outer]

Just a few moons ago I had found out, father had sired a new kid with a Greek Goddess, bad taste from father, but it mattered not… What was important was that I had a brother, which was a wonderful surprise itself, perhaps siring a child with him would prove beneficial for the Great ones, after all, according to Lobon… Adam was an outer God, that yet to be fully awoken.

I can only imagine the monstrosities he will do once his fragile humanity is shattered, the mere thought of my little brother destroying everything in his wake makes me wet… in all the right places.

Only I could carry his seed as it was intended, because only I could properly birth a monster worthy of being his child, our child. Finally I would have a child worthy of my love, a child that would rule the nightmares of mortals by haunting the night.

But that would have to wait, until I collected his seed… so for now, I would simply sit by and wait for my little brother to retrieve what rightfully belonged to him, and in the process show him… what he really is, and that he has no need to play King with those inferior creatures that he is ruling.

[Athena POV]

There was no doubt Adam suspected of me, or everyone for that matter, after he moved Hestia back to Asgard. I knew there had to be something wrong, something related to the disappearance of Annabeth. Perhaps he thought I was responsible for it, or perhaps he thought I was to blame for the appearance of the Hindu King.

Either way, Adam was acting according to his instincts, keeping the one person that could become a liability, a weakness away from where he felt the traitor was.

And while some gods will feel offended with this once they find out… I found this to be most exceptional for me. If I found the traitor, I would win the favor of the future King of Olympus, and I was not one to shy from a challenge, whoever this traitor was had not only targeted Adam but had targeted one of my children.

It couldn't be someone from here, no one had the power nor the resources to do such a thing, especially considering Shiva was involved, whoever it was… had connections, and a strong grudge against Adam.

But who?

[Adam POV]

Being able to actually fight Sun Wukong and Thor was… satisfying to say something, I mean… do you have any idea how frustrating it is to lose a fight in less than a second, well that was my life before, now… it took each hours to defeat me, meaning I was actually learning something, like Sun can make millions of clone that somehow retain a big chunk of his power without weakening him. Two, Thor was rather easy to rile up in combat, and three… we all enjoyed snack breaks.

The point was, I was finally learning something from them, and while the fact they were still more powerful than me was still there… actually no that wasn't right, our powers were somewhat evenly matched, but what they actually had over me was thousands of years of experience, something I was getting by fighting them.

Was I going to be ready to face Shiva in a hopefully friendly match? Not sure, but at the very least, I would be closer to that point after my training ended.

"Shiva is a very destructive fighter," Sun Wukong said, "And no… that is not a pun," I think Wuk has been spending too much time with me to expect that.

"He relies of bursts of power, with the sole intention to overwhelm his opponent," Thor nodded, "He's either playing with you, or all in, there is no in between, with him it's all or nothing, and by all I mean he will start with his most powerful attacks, not giving a fuck if you survive them or not," hmmm, why can't the god of I don't know… flowers and grass challenge me, oh wait, I killed him.

"I would recommend you to go to the fight already in your divine form… if you wish to survive that is," Sun sighed, "Anyway… enough talk let's get to it!"

I don't know why, but I have a feeling things won't be so bad with Shiva, in fact, I had a feeling our battle would end in friendly terms, then again, I also thought Zeus was kinda normal at one point, so there was a chance of me being incredibly wrong, I guess I'll see.
