"Hey, Raphi, what are you talking about?!" Gabriel exclaimed discontentedly upon hearing this.
Though powerless, they weren't entirely without the ability to fight. As angels, they still possessed traces of magic within their bodies—enough to easily confront someone ordinary like Ren.
Even though Ren seemed unlikely to act when someone was in danger, what if he did? Raphiel might not refuse, but Gabriel was different.
For safety's sake, Ren shouldn't entertain such thoughts. Raphiel clarified, "I didn't say anything. I just reminded Kamikawa that the likelihood of a situation where both of us can't move is quite small. If we do nothing, we'll miss it."
Raphiel chuckled, her words full of temptation. She wasn't concerned about what Ren might do. However, if Ren truly had such an idea, there was little Raphiel could do.
Fortunately, Gabriel was with her. If Ren acted, it would be a joint effort, somewhat comforting them.
Gabriel didn't dislike Ren, but she couldn't like him too much. If Ren did something, she could hardly accept it.
"I'm not hoping to do that to Ren, not at all."
"We're in this situation, and you're still saying that." Gabriel thought Raphiel spoke out of fear, so she turned and covered her mouth with a blanket to stop her from talking further.
"Hmm..."
After struggling for a while, Raphiel realized she couldn't defeat Gabriel in this situation. She gave up and winked at Ren, hoping he'd understand and save her from Gabriel.
Ren noticed Raphiel's wink but didn't grasp its meaning. Instead, he watched the two play with interest.
The rare childish roughhousing, especially between two acquainted individuals, improved the initial atmosphere.
"Exactly."
After lecturing Raphiel, Gabriel released her grip and lay in her lap.
To subdue her, she'd spent all her strength, which she finally recovered.
She truly had no strength left now.
"Ah, this is the first time I've seen Gabriel like this..."
Pulling the blanket from her mouth, Raphiel sighed.
"You're just talking nonsense." Gabriel couldn't help but complain.
"Okay, I get it."
Seeing Gabriel attempting to silence her again, Raphiel firmly chose to surrender and kept talking.
"By the way, Gabriel, I might need to stay at your place tonight." Looking at Ren sitting beside the bed, Raphiel seemed to remember something and asked Gabriel.
She couldn't go home in this condition; she had to stay here. Moreover, Gabriel, causing her to end up like this, had to take responsibility.
"I understand. You can stay wherever you like." Gabriel naturally agreed to this.
Even if Raphiel wanted to go home, it was impossible. The main reason being her current state— if she wanted to go home, Ren had to accompany her.
And if Ren sent her home, who knew if she would take the opportunity to ask him to do something excessive?
Based on Raphiel's strange personality and her usual behavior, Gabriel never doubted this.
"In that case, Kamikawa, please take me to the bathroom for a shower." When Gabriel agreed, Raphiel reached out to Ren and made her request.
"Sure." Ren stood up, ready to take her to the bathroom.
Both of them seemed entirely immobile.
As the only active creature at the moment, Ren had to take care of both of them.
"NO!"
Suddenly, Gabriel became angry and pressed Raphiel with her entire body, preventing her from getting up.
She knew that despite Raphiel's good intentions, she actually wanted Ren to hold her and shower.
What was this? She wouldn't even allow Ren to do something intimate like that!
"Why not? Isn't it usual to shower before bed?" Raphiel seemed confused. "Now it's summer. If you don't shower, you won't be able to sleep."
"You haven't even had dinner now, and you just want to shower and sleep?" Gabriel said quite dissatisfied.
Because of making the talisman, she hadn't even had time to cook dinner, let alone eat.
"In that case, is it okay after dinner?" Raphiel lowered her request.
"Impossible!"
Gabriel's response was still a refusal, but because she had little strength, her voice was much softer than before.
"How about Kamikawa takes you to shower first after dinner, then releases me?" Hearing she much softer tone, Raphiel felt something interesting and continued the conversation.
"Eh? This..." Gabriel was slightly shaken.
It seemed very tempting to let Ren carry her and shower.
"Rare opportunities like this don't come often." Raphiel whispered in her ear, "If you miss such a good chance, you'll truly regret it."
Gabriel started to hesitate, unsure whether to agree or not.
As Raphiel said, this was indeed a good opportunity.
She asked Ren to carry her to the bathroom because she couldn't move. With his character, he would never refuse, and something might happen in the bathroom.
But the issue was...
"No!"
After some thought, Gabriel rejected her proposal without hesitation.
If she truly wanted Ren to do that, Raphiel would surely use the same rhetoric to make her do the same.
Therefore, considering Ren, she could only refuse.
"I thought you would agree." Raphiel looked slightly disappointed.
"I'm not foolish." Gabriel said proudly. "Anyway, let's order food to take home first, then eat."
"In that case, you can always ask Kamikawa to help feed me when we eat later. I have no strength now." Raphiel sighed and asked helplessly.
