Chapter 92

         Long feng walked forward for a whole hour before arriving at the end of the passageway. What lay ahead shocked him.

In front of him was a whole different world! Trees, animals, everything was there. But not a single human soul was in sight. This world could boast a size of two major cities in Jianhai province!

Long feng couldn't believe that such a world existed Within Yangzhou city!

        He jumped into this world, feeling as if he had walked through a formation, but the feeling was hazy, so Long feng ignored it.

         He inhaled a deep breath and smiled. It was rare to find such a beautiful and quiet place filled with nature! Meditating here would definitely be profitable to the soul and mind!

Whoosh!

       Suddenly, Long feng heard the sound of air being cut through. He released his aura without a second thought.

"Zenith dragon strike!" He shouted! The fact that he used his second powerful skill instantly proved that the danger was a threat to his life!

The translucent dragon phantom flew out of his body and collided against a palm sized white petal. The dragon phantom instantly disintegrated and the white petal continued towards Long feng's chest. Long feng was shocked. The attacker had to be a Yang level cultivator!

The petal was about to stab into his chest when it stopped.

Long feng swallowed, staring at the sharp point of the petal touching his chest.

Then he heard a childlike giggle.

"You are too weak!" A soft female voice spread out, then a petite fifteen year old young lady appeared in Long feng's line of sight. Her oval face was almost as pretty as Li yu'er's, but was strangely cute and innocent, not as cold and unwelcoming as Li yu'er. Her brownish hair reached her back and her clean white robe sparkled occasionally. She looked unperturbed by the worries of the entire world!

          She walked up to Long feng and stared at him curiously, while taking back her petal.

Long feng had cold sweat running down his forehead. That was because this fifteen year old lady was a rank two Yang level cultivator!

"Who are you?" She asked, her large brown eyes staring into his eyes.

"Me? Who are you too?" Long feng asked back.

The lady giggled again.

"I asked you first! If you answer me, I will also answer you!" She said. Long feng found it fair enough. He really wanted to know who this fifteen year old Yang level cultivator was. She was probably the youngest Yang level cultivator within the entire Yihua Continent!

"I am Long feng of the Mortal heaven sect" he replied.

The lady didn't seem to know which sect was the Mortal heaven sect.

"So who are you?" Long feng urged.

The lady smiled mischievously.

"I'm not telling!" She replied, giggling.

Long feng's face fell.

"You tricked me!" He asked.

"I did. What will you do about it?" She asked, leaving Long feng speechless.

Right. What could he do? This lady could instantly kill him if she so wished!

"How did you got into this remnant?" The lady asked.

"I don't know. I simply fell through a boulder and found myself here." Long feng replied.

"You must have entered through the portal I opened before it sealed up again!" She deduced.

Long feng was stunned. So that was it! This lady had indirectly saved his life from the Yang level cultivators!

"But there is no way out of here. I have to unravel a formation but my soul power is not enough. You shouldn't have come in!" The lady suddenly spoke.

Long feng was surprised.

"No way out?" He asked.

"Yes. My soul power is only at the first heaven layer. I can't even sense the formation." She replied.

"I might be of help!" Long feng spoke, releasing a whiff of his soul power.

"You are at the second heaven layer?" Her eyes shone.

Long feng felt satisfied. At least, he was stronger than this monster in the aspect of soul cultivation!

"Yes. But first, tell me. Where is this place?" Long feng asked.

"The illusory world remnant of a powerful cultivator. I think he was a spirit level cultivator and also a third saint layered soul cultivator" the lady replied thoughtfully.

"I actually wanted to know if there is a soul crystal in this remnant. Now, I am stuck!" She added in a  lamenting tone.

Third saint layered soul cultivator! That was two levels above Lord Yi Ming! Long feng was stunned. He had mistakenly stumbled upon yet another worthwhile remnant!

"How did you know that you are to unravel a formation?" Long feng asked curiously.

The lady stared at him blankly.

"It's written right over there on that stone!" She sighed, pointing right behind her.

Long feng felt embarrassed. He hadn't even bothered looking around!

"Well, can you get us out?" The lady asked.

"Not until you tell me who you are. I won't move an inch until you do!" It was Long feng's turn to smile.

"My name is Hua Liuli. Now come on and try! I want to leave!" The lady replied almost immediately.

       Having no other choice, Long feng released his soul power and began to pace around the illusory world. After taking a whole day, he had only covered half of the illusory world!

"You are too slow!" Hua Liuli complained for what seemed to be the hundredth time. Long feng was loosing his mind because of her!

"Can you be quiet? I am finding it hard to concentrate when someone keeps talking beside me!" Long feng snapped back. She had been disturbing him with stories for the whole day! He had heard enough!

"I haven't told you about when I was trying to retrieve a half spirit armament from a group of peak Yin level wild beasts!" She replied and began to narrate yet another story to Long feng.

Long feng ignored her and continued searching for any clue within the illusory world.

One more day later, Long feng finally reached the end of the world, but he didn't sense any clues throughout his search. Unconvinced, he took another two days searching for any clue but found nothing. He couldn't imagine himself spending one more day within this illusory world with Hua Liuli or he would run mad. She kept talking non stop! He really wanted to leave this remnant and stay as far away as he could from her! She was the direct opposite of Li yu'er and Long feng wished it was Li yu'er by his side not Hua Liuli.

          It was now clear to him why she was outside alone. Her clansmen probably couldn't bear having her around them!

Long feng sighed for what had to be the hundredth time as he continued searching for any clue that could help them in finding a way out, but all his efforts proved abortive.

"Hmph! You said you could get us out! We've been moving up and down for the fourth time now!" Hua Liuli complained.

Long feng ignored her and stopped, contemplating on what to do. He couldn't remain trapped here for long! He had his battle with Han Man within a few months to think about, and besides, he didn't want to stay trapped here with Hua Liuli!

He suddenly recalled the divine skill which Wu Kong had imparted to him.

The Immortal Sight!

If cultivated to its peak, it could see through the secrets of the heavens and earth!

But Long feng had only cultivated it to the first and lowest level which was the silver radiance.

Long feng immediately used his silver radiance Immortal sight.

His pitch black pupils turned silver coloured. The silver colour seemed to contain some infinite truths and laws of the heavens. Long feng looked around using the Immortal Sight.

       The beautiful scenery before him began to fade away under the power of his Immortal sight. The entire world turned into one massive formation.

Long feng was dumbfounded by the size of the formation.

That was the reason why he was Unable to find any clue! He had been searching wrongly. There wasn't a formation to be unraveled, the entire illusory world was the formation!
