Above the celestial realm, looking down on millions of beasts, stood a man bathed in lightning, emitting a powerful aura that caused the beasts below to shiver in fear. He was like a deity that had descended from the heavens, to bestow powerful judgement.

"I sentence you to death."

He transformed into a World-Devouring Serpent with a length of 100,000 meters, and golden scales that appeared all over its body. It carried a terrifying aura that caused the Celestial Realm to shake in reverance.

Crackle!

A terrifying energy began to surge as streaks of heavenly thunder descended. As death approached, all defenses were pointless. They struck the beasts below, causing rivers of blood to stain the ground.

"Ahhh!"

The beasts below let out shrill screams. All that was left was ash, not even flesh remained.

Although he appeared cold and arrogant, the man was filled with emotion as he witnessed his terrifying power.

He, who was once powerless and lived a mediocre life, had attained boundless power and reverance. He had caused countless miracles and reached the pinnacle, countless others trampled beneath his feet.

Leo's gaze sweapt the destruction below, until everything disappeared.

'Huh? So it was just a dream.'

Bang, bang!

"Brother Leo! Wake up!"

The ear-piercing knocks continued outside the old, wooden door. Adam, shouted hurriedly, "It's time for breakfast!".

Wiping the saliva from the corner of his mouth, Leo reluctantly got out of bed and walked towards the bathroom. Switching on the light, he studied his appearance in the mirror.

He had dirty, black hair that he couldn't afford to cut at a hairdresser, so he would cut it himself with scissors, a malnourished body as if he hadn't eaten in days, and a single ripped pair of jeans and a hoodie.

A week ago, he was a a regular office worker, a nobody. He lived a mediocre life, confined within a 5x5 metre apartment, simply trying to make ends meet.

However, one night, on the way back from work, he was blinded by headlights. All he heard was the screeching of tires before he awoke here, in a different world as Leo, a penniless orphan.

After freshening up a bit, although barely noticeable, he reluctantly stumbled out of his room downstairs. In a small dining room, a dozen or so children sat around a wooden table munching on a dark, charcoal-like piece of bread.

Leo stared at the brick-like piece of bread and placed it in his mouth, using his full biting-force just to chew it. A burnt taste was left behind in his mouth.

"Ugh, disgusting."

As an orphan, they were undoubtably extremely poor, barely scraping 2 meals a day.

The orphanage was located in a town near the southern border of the country Arya. It was cold all year round and food production was low, enough to feed less than half the town's population. As a result, more than 20% of people died every year - including Leo's parents.

"When will this end?"

Leo sighed, but endured his suffering and reluctantly chose to eat the charcoal-like bread, unless he starved.

Suddenly, the ground started shaking.

The wooden door was burst open, and a large burly man hurriedly walked in.

"Kids, get to the shelter quickly! It's a beast tide," he yelled.

He didn't give them time to react before quickly leaving.

"Brother Leo, why are you daydreaming? We should go!" a small boy cried behind him.

Leo turned his head and saw a small boy pulling the hemn of his shirt.

The boy had dirty blonde hair, blue eyes and a small stature. His clothes, if they could be called that, were similar to rags. Meanwhile, his eyes were brimming with fear.

Leo wasted no time and followed him to the shelter, almost stumbling on the way out.

This wasn't his old world, where humans lived in peace. This was a fantasy world, where beasts run rampant and humans were at risk of slaughter every day.

Roar!

Leo's gaze sweapt to the right, where a huge 15 metre tall cyclops stood. His face paled as they met eyes.

[Threat detected. Bloodline system activating...]

[Activation successful!]

A mechanical voice sounded in his mind, and a screen appeared in front of him stating its functions.

Leo was surprised for a second, but soon regained his composure.

He was surprised, but looking down at his malnourished body, it made a lot of sense.

A wheel appeared in front of him that begun spinning, it began to slow down.

His luck was finally pulling through. He obtained a silver bloodline! Leo was eager to view his new status and abilities.

Before he knew it, the cyclops started to run towards him.

'Crap!'

His speed suddenly increased as he left behind streaks of lightning.

"Ahh!"

A heavy object was launched at him, causing him to trip, while the inertia of his ability sent him flying.

Looking down, he saw a small lifeless body. A metallic smell assaulted his nostrils.

It was Adam.

"No.. A-Adam! Hey, get up!"

Even though he had transmigrated, he inherited the previous owner's memories, and he also came to view the other orphans as siblings.

After what seemed like forever, the cyclops' footsteps got closer, and Leo looked up with a hatred filled gaze.

Suddenly, he disappeared and a fountain of blood sprayed in the air.

Thud!

The cyclops looked down at its arm with confusion. Why wasn't it attached?

Roar!

It began to crazily attack its surroundings, before everything went black.

Leo appeared behind the cyclops, lightning flashing from his fingertips, as its head cleanly flew off its neck.

With a deadpan expression, he gazed at the corpse before losing consciousness.

Moments later, a group of people wielding various weapons arrived. One of them examined the corpse.

"Strange. How can a bronze-tier beast appear in a place like this, past the border?"

"You're right. We should report this," another replied.

"I wonder who the lucky person that killed it is. Damn things' worth a lot of money."

Crackle!

To his left, he noticed the unconscious Leo and the faint lightning emitting from his body.

"Ability-user? Surely it wasn't him, right?"

After sensing nobody else in the area, his gaze returned to Leo's unconscious body.

"Bring the kid. We're leaving."

Little did Leo know that he would soon become an entity that would shake the world.
