Chapter 72: Selene
When we finally arrived back home, the guys were crowding me. They all tried to follow me into the bathroom while I took the test but I made them sit on the bed and told them to stay there.
I'd never had to take a pregnancy test before, never even had a pregnancy scare. I didn't get around enough for it to come up or ever be an issue. But there I was now, sitting on the toilet with the directions unfolded on my lap and a test in my hand.
Aaren had gotten me every single high-end pregnancy test on the shelf, said he wanted to be absolutely positive before anyone freaked out. Even though he was very much already freaking out.
After reading the directions several times, I laid them on the floor and went about peeing in a cup and dipped several of the tests in, then laid them on the counter. I set a timer on my phone and paced the bathroom for several minutes while they did their thing. By the time the timer went off I was sure I'd worn a groove in the tile.
