Chapter 66 : Gut
Emory followed Tobi's lead as he led him out of the station, as they navigated the dark station Emory could feel the gazes of the people at the station watching, examining, and sizing him up, it was as if they could tell it was his first time in the damned place and were waiting for the opportunity to tear him apart and take everything they could from him.
Tobi led Emory up a staircase and Emory followed close behind, he made a mental note not to get too close to Tobi and also not be too far away from him, after all, he did need his guidance. Emory did not trust Tobi in the slightest, but he wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, not like he had a better option at the moment and he had the means to defend himself should Tobi try to pull anything.
Finally, they approached the exit of the station Tobi stopped abruptly and turned to face Emory, he still had that bright smile on his face that put Emory off.
