By this time, Varian had hobbled over, his body pierced with four or five orcish daggers and swords. He looked a sorry sight, but fortunately, none of the wounds were fatal. Although he was covered in blood, he was not seriously harmed. Seeing him survive such a fierce battle, no one felt it right to blame him.
"How is King Terenas—oh no!" Varian, looking at Terenas's corpse, was shocked and incredulous. "Damn orcs! I curse you all!" Varian roared, clenching his fists tightly in a posture that vowed no reconciliation with the orcs.
Gedwyn glared at Varian, thinking to himself that he hadn't seen it coming; Varian was capable of such a move.
