Shi Beiyu walked to a place out of Mu Siyin's view and answered the call.
"Mom."
"What's going on with you, Ah Yu? Quite a few shareholders have called me up tonight to say that you've been delaying the shareholders meeting for three days. Did something happen with the company?" A woman's clear and elegant voice rose curiously from the other end of the phone.
Shi Beiyu let out a long breath. "No. Something urgent came up, and I had to delay the meeting. I've already informed Yan Ze to arrange for it at 9 a.m. tomorrow."
"What's so urgent?"
Shi Beiyu became annoyed. "I have my right to privacy, Mom."
Mother Shi was shocked to hear what her son had said.
"Privacy? Listen to me, Ah Yu… I heard you've been getting friendly with a girl. Is this true?"
Shi Beiyu's gaze darkened as he lowered his voice. "Who told you that?"
Mother Shi laughed. "Look at you. All I've done was ask a question, and I've already gotten on your nerves."
