The atmosphere in Ethan's office was very tense as Nora closed the door behind her.
She held the folder much tightly in her hands, her heart was beating very fast.
The moment she had been scared of and anticipating was finally here.
Ethan looked up from his desk, his gaze was locking onto her eyes.
"Nora, You look like you have something important to say." he said, his tone was very neutral.
"I do, We need to talk." she replied, her voice was steady despite the storm of emotions moving inside of her.
"About what?" Ethan asked as he rested back in his chair, studying her carefully.
"About this." Nora said as she moved forward, placing the folder on his desk.
Ethan's brow was furrowed as he opened the folder.
His eyes was scanning the partial contract that was inside, his expression was hardening with every passing second.
"Where did you get this?" he asked, his voice was very low and dangerous.
