Nora sat in the cafe, her eyes fixed on the entrance as she waited for Lila. Her mind was preoccupied with thoughts of Ethan and the mysterious circumstances surrounding his parents' death. The sound of high heels clicking on the tiled floor broke the silence, and Nora's gaze shifted to the woman approaching her table.
Lila's presence was commanding, her black coat and sharp heels drawing attention from the other patrons. She slid into the seat opposite Nora, a smirk playing on her lips. "You're punctual. I like that."
Nora's tone was firm as she replied, "I didn't come here for pleasantries, Lila. What do you want?"
Lila raised an eyebrow, seemingly amused by Nora's directness. "Straight to the point, fine. I have something you need to know, something about Ethan's parents."
