Ainz was thinking of capturing a god of death.
The God of Death is not someone he plans to capture, he was too powerful and might disrupt his plan. What he wanted was a weak god that he could use to research summon the Undeads of Yggdrasil into this world Underworld.
Once Ainz made a deal with someone, he is one to follow through. He made the deal with Chrono using the name Ainz Ooal Gown; something he cannot tarnish.
So far the scouts he sent to Dominion hadn't sent any news on the gods, but it was only a matter of time.
There is one thing Ainz felt curious about is the God Slayer Clan his summons told him about. It's a clan that focuses on killing gods, absorbing their powers, becoming divine beings but not becoming gods.
They weren't from Dominion, which piques his interest.
Why have the gods allowed the clan to exist? If it was him and there was an Overlord Slaying Clan, it would vanish the same day.
Still, the God Slaying Clan is something he might consider allying with. But their origins are something he worries about. He cannot guarantee victory against someone he knew nothing about.
Shaking his head, the God Slaying Clan will be put on hold for now. When his scouts locate a god of death that meets his requirement, even if he is exposed he will capture it.
At this point if Wu Tain knew he was alive, he didn't care, he was his comrade after all. For now, he will give him the benefit of the doubt and be honest with him.
Clearing his thoughts, Ainz returns to his task at hand. His mission was to create the decision makers of each of the independent realms he planned to construct.
They will believe they have always existed, thus be different from Gaia and the rest.
As someone that played Yggdrasil, Ainz wished to recreate it to some degree. With his current power, it was impossible to create everything, but giving it a chance to reborn was something he could do.
Chrono was given the task of creating the Christian Mythology in Rome according to his orders.
He actually wanted to be mythologically accurate with this mythology but he didn't know where Iran was, so he chose Rome where the Vatican City will be.
Ainz knew that his actions would start a religious war to happen but he was far too used to it, that it didn't bother him.
Slane Theocracy preaches about the Six Great Gods and other nations worship the Eight Greed Kings, calling them something else.
Many religions did this, calling the gods of other people demons, to separate themselves from others.
The Undead he sent to Rome and Scandinavia have already cleared out regions for the two Underworlds.
Hell had to be one of the coolest Underworlds he had created so far.
Hell was a downward spiral that becomes bigger the further you go down. There were eight layers of Hell, the surface level, the first level is called Surface Hell, where low-level demons reside. These demons are the ones that mortals will mostly get in contact with.
The second level is the Sloth Hell, where time moves at a very slow pace. Those that fall to this level, will be incapable of carrying out their desires, as it takes forever to accomplish even one.
The third level is Greed Hell, where illusions of all kinds of wealth will be. Since the wealth is illusions, none will ever gain any but forever seek it.
The fourth level is Envy Hell, where all those who were envious of others will fall. The demons will take limbs, body parts away, so they can possess it.
The fifth level is Lust Hell, those who let lust drive their actions shall fall here. This will be a never ending orgy.
The sixth level is Gluttony Hell, where one's hunger will never be satiated, and will only grow as time goes on.
The seventh level is Wrath, those who use their strength or gossip about others will experience all those and more.
The Eighth level is Pride, those who allow pride to blind them will be sent to the lowest level of Hell.
Each level of Hell is controlled by the Seven Demon Kings, except for the Surface level which is where demons without allegiance live.
There was one flaw with the system he created. How can one determine which sins one commits in life? That was impossible or it should be.
Using , Ainz wished for a book that could facilitate the system he had for this stand alone world.
Starting from now on, the book will automatically write down the names and sins of everyone, determining their destination after death. This was fair and impartial, which Ainz liked.
The book will exist on Earth, outside the jurisdiction of Hell and Heaven.
No one will be able to locate it, since it will take the guise of a simple book that can function like one.
The other Underworld, Helheim, was an extremely large realm with many parts.
One part was covered in greenery, and vegetation despite being underground.
The other looked like a city of gold with large pubs and restaurants all over.
Each was like a separate Underworld, as there were gates that kept just anyone from entering.
In Helheim, the undead responsible for construction of Hell converged, burying themselves, passively generating negative energy to create other undeads.
Floating above Hell, is a floating island, called Heaven. Heaven was covered with mansions, rivers, and many birds.
Heaven was protected by a barrier that kept it isolated and trapped. Without reason, no angels could leave.
Of course there are exceptions. The only way to leave is to have a human summon you to perform miracles.
When one looks at it this way, it seems the angels and demons would be servants of humans but that's only for now.
The humans are far too weak and would be at the mercy of the demons and angels. Though he was indifferent to their plight, he wanted to give them a fair chance.
This was an experiment conducted in a control environment.
Heaven and Hell were empty without life, as Ainz hadn't summoned the demons and angels yet.
Above Helheim, there was also an island, but instead of mansions and lavishness, a simple city with organized streets, and a central palace stood.
Creating these realms was easy for Ainz, especially the Underworlds, since all he had to do was summon some undead, and make them clean out the earth, before creating the separate walls to seperate the Underworlds from each other.
He also separated the Greek, Christian and Norse mythology by using .
At first he wanted to wish for it but instead he wished for a spell that could create these special walls and not be seen or interfere with by humans.
The spell was granted but at a large cost. The amount of gold coins he use, sas enough to resurrect Shalltear ten times over, terrifying. But it was worth it.
Humans could leave the walls but anyone he creates will be stuck inside, not that they can tell. To them, this will be their enter world.
There were some overlaps between Greek and Christian stand alone realms, meaning that these two groups could notice each other.
If this was left to history, Christianity would kill the religion of old gods, taking parts they like and spreading. But it's different when the gods are real.
Still, to enter either realm, one would need a lot of power to break the walls. Even Ainz doesn't think he could break them, as it reminds him of when he used and the White Space of Gate. This was the presence of space.
Ainz plans to create a specific number of individuals for each realm. For Hell, he will create seven Demon Kings and the Antichrist. For Heaven, he will create God and the Archangels.
As for angels to populate Heaven, the Archangels can summon them. It was clear that for whatever reasons, on Earth, summons were able to stay permanently. He didn't think angels were any different.
Luckily for Hell, Ainz have an item that could summon a nigh infinite amount of demons. He planned to place the item on the first layer, Surface Hell, outside the reach of the demon kings.
To stop the Demon Kings from realizing this, he will make it hard for them to leave their layer. They could leave Hell if someone conducts a sacrifice to them but they are barred from the first layer.
Even then, they can only say a limited amount of time, before having to return.
Some people might say it's unfair to have so many demons while Heaven only has the Archangels; but you must understand, the Archangels will have the might of a level 70 NPC while God will have the power rivaling a level 80 NPC, which is stronger than the Primordial Gods.
The Demon Kings will be suppressed when entering Earth but in their layers, their powers would receive a boost similar to Ainz .
