Chapter 9: Yuri Onee-chan

Reina POV:

After wandering around the hallways for what seemed like forever, Reina started to aggressively ruffle her hair up in frustration.

"Ugh! How come there's nobody around this stupid place! I don't know where I am! I should've gotten father to teleport me to where Yuri could possibly be. I know that I read the manga, but how should I know the layout of everything in this damn maze of a tomb.....*sigh*" Reina cried to herself. It was then when Reina finally found somebody that she knew could help. she saw CZ2128 Delta putting a one-yen sticker on a homunculus maid that was closely following her. Once CZ put the sticker on the maid, the maid started to shake in excitement. Reina immediately dashed in the air in an alarming speed towards them, startling the homunculus maid.

"Uwahh! M-Miss Bellrose!" The homunculus maid screamed as she fell to the ground.

"H-Hello...CZ and...may I know your name?" Reina looked down at the homunculus maid who had bright, short, yellow hair.

"Ah! My name is Foire! As you may know, I am one of the homunculus maids!" Foire cheerfully said as she got up from the floor and was patting the dust off her maid uniform.

"I see.. Nice to meet you Foire. I apologize if I managed to offend you."

"Oh you didn't! I'm only a mere maid after all and they're so many of us homunculus maids, so I understand if you don't manage to remember all of our names. I see you finished your discussion with Lord Momonga. We were told to not go anywhere near that room you were talked in, so we made sure to completely abandon the area around the room!" 

Upon Foire's words, Reina wanted to scream in annoyance because she realized that the reason she wasn't able to see anyone for such a long time was because father ordered them not to disturb them. 

"Grghh...." Reina was quietly growling in annoyance, not noticing that both CZ and Foire we're watching her.

"M-Miss Bellerose? Are you okay?" Foire asked in concern. This snapped Reina out from the war that was in her mind.

"A-Ah yes I'm doing just fine! I..I'm in need of your assistance. Do... you happen to know where Yuri Alpha is? Lord Momonga has ordered me to go talk to her." As Reina said that she wondered to herself.

"Why does father want me to talk to Yuri Alpha specifically?"

Hearing Reina mention father, CZ had a slight smile on her face. CZ pointed at Reina and then at herself.

"Come." CZ said as she started to walk away with Foire following behind her. Reina then floated towards them. After a few minutes of walking through hallways, going up stairs, and turning corners, they arrived at what seemed like a teleportation gate. Reina remembered that Aureole Omega, the leader of the pleiades seven sisters, was responsible for the control of the teleportation gates within Nazarick. They both stepped forward towards the pedestal.

"9th floor. Maid's quarters." As CZ said that, all of them we're enveloped in a bright light. Instantly they arrived in a small hallway with 3 doors on each side with names tags on them. CZ gestured for Reina to follow her. Just as Reina was about to follow her, Foire spoke up.

"It seems I am unneeded here. Miss CZ. Miss Bellerose. I shall take my leave." Foire said while bowing towards them. Just as she Foire was about to leave, Reina remembered something.

"Oh! Foire..please inform everyone that Momonga and I are done with our discussion so you can all transverse in that area again." Reina quickly ordered to Foire.

"As you command, Miss Bellerose!" Foire cheerfully said and quickly left through the teleportation gate.

CZ and Reina continued to travel down the small hallway until they ended up in front of the far corner door. The name tag on the door read "Yuri Alpha" on it. CZ then knocked on the door but knocked really hard on it. Instantly, the door slammed open, revealing Yuri Alpha.

"CZ-chan please control your strength! Just knocking normally will get my attention!" Yuri alpha said with a stern but motherly voice. CZ didn't say anything and instead pointed in Reina's location. Yuri Alpha then noticed her presence.

"Belle-chan!"

"Hello Yuri Onee-chan.." Reina said without thinking. She realized what she just said and was confused to why she called Yuri-Alpha her older sister. Suddenly Reina felt a splitting headache and she held her head. Reina then closed her eyes to ease the pain but when she opened them. She was in a completely different place.

Reina found herself in a small, grassy plain that was surrounded by a large thick jungle. She then noticed a figure sitting under one of the trees in the jungle, reading a magic tome. It was father.

"Father! FATHER!" Reina tried to get his attention, but he didn't see or hear her. Suddenly, Reina heard laughter from behind her. Reina turned around to see Yuri Alpha and someone she didn't know sitting on a large picnic blanket They had a large stature and a yellow and black outfit with chains around her chest. The person also wore large red gauntlets. They ordered Yuri Alpha to grab a book which was on a wooden table a few meters away from them.

"Yes Lady Yamaiko." Yuri Alpha had a bright smile on her face before turning around and running towards the wooden table to grab the book. She quickly returned to Lady Yamaiko with the book, giving it to her. Reina then realized there was another person with them at the picnic blanket. It was a small, little girl with an oversized large black shirt on which covered the entirety of her body and tiny black shoes. Her hair was long, messy and curly with her bangs covering a portion of her blue eyes. She was floating upside down while eating tiny glowing orbs.

"Is this... me?" Reina thought to herself.

"Little Bellerose can you solve this equation?" Yamaiko pointed towards an equation on inside one of the pages of the book that read (100/5) -18. Child Bellerose pouted at Yamaiko.

"Uuuu... I dun wanna! M-Math sucks!" Child Bellerose yelled. 

Yamaiko turned to Yuri Alpha and nodded her head. Yuri Alpha walked away and soon returned with a white box that had silver decorations all over it. Yuri Alpha slowly opened it which revealed a palm sized, white glittering orb they had hints of many colors within it. Child Bellerose saw this and started to drool. Reina subconsciously started to drool as well. Yuri Alpha smiled, knowing that she caught the fish.

"Belle-chan if you answer this equation, you're allowed to eat this unicorn soul. It's your favorite~" Yuri-chan teased the child Reina.

"...U-Ugh..." Child Bellerose gave in and earnestly tried to solve the equation. After about 15 seconds, she rose her hand towards Yuri Alpha and Yamaiko.

"Yes little Bellerose?" Yamaiko asked.

"Is it... 2?" Child Bellerose meekly answered. 

"You're correct Belle-chan! Good job!" Yuri Alpha said happily as she placed the box in front of child Bellerose. She instantly grabbed the unicorn soul and started to devour it.

"*Crunch* *Crunch* *Crunch* *Crunch* ....S-So good..I-Is there more?" Bellerose shyly asked with puppy eyes. 

"N-No little Bellerose, you've already eaten 50 souls today. If you eat too much, you might get sick!" Yamaiko said. Reina noticed that Yamaiko was visibly shaking trying her hardest to resist and give in to her puppy eyes.

"....T-That's too bad.." Child Bellerose said dejectedly. 

In an attempt to cheer her up, Reina watched as Yuri Alpha suddenly stood up, getting child Bellerose's attention.

"Belle-chan do you want to race each other again? I still haven't beat you yet after 300 tries! We can race from here to Lord Momonga!"

Child Bellerose's dark blue eyes started to sparkle in excitement.

"Y-Yes! Let's go!" Child Bellerose happily yelled. Both Child Bellerose and Yuri Alpha side to side, ready to race towards father who was completely unaware. Yamaiko walked up to both of them.

"Well then, I shall start the countdown. 3.... 2.... 1.... GO!" 

They both started to race towards father, startling him when he saw them charging towards him. When they stopped in front of him, He sighed but then startled to chuckle to himself.

"I'm glad you're all having fun but please do not make me a racing destination." Father ordered.

"You're so boring father!" Child Bellerose exclaimed while pouting.

"H-Hey Belle-chan let's play games elsewhere, shall we?" Yuri requested to which child Bellerose slowly nodded. They continued to play multiple games such as tag or hide and seek, all of which Bellerose won without any difficulty.

"Bellerose, it's time to go." father ordered.

"B-But I wanna play for a little longer..." Child Bellerose pleaded to father.

"You act as if we're not coming here tomorrow....No it's getting late, lets go." Father said tiredly as he opened up a portal and walked through.

"Uuuu.... Bye mama Yamaiko and Yuri Onee-chan...." Child Bellerose turned around in sadness and was about to follow father through the portal.

"Magic coating!" Yuri chanted and ran towards child Bellerose, hugging her.

"Don't be sad Belle-chan we'll play more tomorrow, okay?" 

Child Bellerose turned her frown into a smile towards Yuri.

"Okay! Bring me more unicorn souls too!" Child Bellerose said happily before finally floating through the portal. As soon as child Bellerose left, the area started to distort into darkness. Realizing that this vision was about to end, Reina smiled to herself.

"Even though what I saw was just a false memory that I never personally experienced that was created as result of God altering reality to make me fit into the story, It's.... not an unwelcome sight. It was joyful to watch. Is this what it feels like...to truly have a family?" She thought to herself before everything went to black.

"Belle-chan? Are you okay?"

Reina opened her eyes and saw that she was still in front of Yuri and CZ and she realized that she had tears in her eyes. 

"Magic coating!" Yuri Alpha chanted and quickly hugged her and was squeezing her really hard.

"Bwehh! It hurts! I can't breathe Yuri Onee-chan!" Reina yelled desperately as she didn't want to die from the hug. 

"Oh I'm sorry Belle-chan! I was just so excited to see you after so long!" Yuri happily said.

"Ahaha... It's okay!" Reina said with a smile on her face.

CZ2128 Delta POV

Seeing Reina and Yuri happily talk with one another, CZ knew that her job was done here. 

"Magic imbuement" CZ chanted on her one-yen sticker and placed it onto Reina's black sundress without her knowing before slipping away from both of them.
