Chapter 10: Talking with Yuri Alpha and Albedo's Apology

Reina POV

After talking to Yuri Alpha for a couple of minutes. Yuri invited Reina inside her room so they could talk in private. Reina floated towards Yuri's bed and acted like she was sitting on it. Since she was a ghost, Reina was still technically floating but she made herself get as close as possible to the bed in order to replicate sitting. Yuri pulled up a chair and sat in front of her.

"So Belle-chan, did you need something? Are you okay? Why are you here?" Yuri asked many questions.

Reina told her everything that happened, from having the meeting with the floor guardians and Momonga, her altercation with Albedo, and her discussion with father, albeit leaving out the fact that she called Momonga her father. After a while, Yuri finally spoke.

"As long as you know what you did was wrong, that's all that matters. Lord Momonga clearly expressed that even though you weren't at fault, you went too far and gave you a clear warning."

"Magic coating!" Yuri suddenly chanted. She suddenly grabbed Reina's head and shook it fiercely.

"Uwhaaaaaa!" Reina screamed.

"However, this is your punishment from me!" Yuri yelled. This went on for a long time until Yuri finally let go. Reina felt disoriented and wobbly as she slowly floated upwards like a dead fish. Yuri Alpha then yanked her by the legs downwards which ended up with Reina floating closer to the ground as Yuri at her from above.

"U-Ughh..." Was all Reina could get out of her voice. She thought Yuri was going to continue with the torture. Instead, Yuri started to pat her head while having the purest smile.

"It wasn't too long ago when you were just a little child that was easily swayed by unicorn souls." She kindly said while still patting her head. Reina enjoyed this feeling until she fell asleep

Yuri Alpha POV

realizing this, she grabbed Bellerose and placed her on her lap. Yuri then started to stroke her hair, attempting to straighten it, but since Reina's hair was naturally curly, it was nearly impossible. This went on for a while, with Yuri Alpha occasionally having to get MP potions she had stored in her desk drawer by her mirror to replenish her mana. Yuri had to do this so she could grab Bellerose while having magic coating on her. If she didn't do this, Bellerose would possibly float upwards through the ceiling while she was asleep. As Yuri was continuing to play with Bellerose's hair, she suddenly heard a knock on her door.

"Who could it be this time?" Yuri thought to herself. Yuri then woke up Bellerose by poking the side of her ribs.

"Ahhh! T-That hurt!" Bellerose yelled and then yawned.

Yuri walked towards the door and opened it. Immediately realizing who this was, Yuri Alpha immediately bowed towards the individual.

"Lady Albedo, how may I be of service?"

Albedo POV.

"Lady Albedo, how may I be of service?" Yuri Alpha said as she bowed towards Albedo.

"Is Bellerose here? I was told by a homunculus maid that she was here. I need to talk to her alone."

"Bellerose is in the room Lady Albedo, if this talk is private between the two of you, you can borrow my room. I can leave." Yuri Alpha suggested to Albedo.

"....Thank you Yuri Alpha." Albedo put her hand on her chest in acceptance of Yuri Alpha's kindness. Albedo observed as Yuri Alpha bowed and went past her, walking down the hallway.

Albedo walked into the room and looked around to see nobody in there. Albedo barely noticed one of the pillows on the bed had an extremely faint black and blue smoke coming out of it. She realized that Bellerose was trying to hide from her by hiding in one of Yuri Alpha's pillows and possessing it. 

"I'm sorry for what I did to you Bellerose, I made an unforgivable mistake. I insulted you and tried to hurt you out of jealousy towards you. You don't have to forgive me, but I just wanted you to know that I truly regret my actions." Albedo sincerely said to the smoking pillow. Silence enveloped the room for a while. Suddenly, the pillow stopped smoking and slowly, Bellerose's head popped out of the pillow.

"U-Uh... It's okay... I uh.. I also went too far and ended up hurting you." Bellerose said in a whisper.

"No, it's okay! I deserved it! I promise to be better from now on." Albedo said to Bellerose. 

"S-Same. I'll do better from now on as well." Bellerose added. This continued on for about 10 minutes before Albedo and Bellerose realized this was going nowhere. They both started to laugh.

"Ahaha!"

"*Chuckle*"

Albedo was happy and relieved that they patched things up between each other. Suddenly, Bellerose grabbed her ear like something was talking to her.

"Yes... I shall come as soon as possible Lord Momonga." Bellerose said.

Soon after that Albedo heard a voice through her ear as well. It was Lord Momonga. She enjoyed having to hear his voice up close to her ear. It was almost pleasurable. 

"Albedo, come to my location! There is a gate I have created on the 9th floor in my office. I have found something of interest. A village. I am in need of your assistance."

(A/N I tried to find where exactly Momonga was when he was viewing Carne Village through searching online or looking through the overlord wikipedia to see if I could find it, but I couldn't. If y'all know where exactly he was, please tell me and I will change it. I wanted to write the exact location rather than just "In my office". I know he is in this room multiple times throughout the anime.)

"Yes Lord Momonga!" Albedo yelled. Albedo then looked at Bellerose.

"It seems that Lord Momonga wants us both. Shall we leave together?" Albedo suggested to Bellerose. Bellerose nodded and soon after, they both exited the room, and walked towards the teleportation gate, teleporting to where Momonga told them where his gate was.
