"Levi... all of the bodies have been collected. It's time to bury them. you have to be there, offer a small prayer to god." Levi's mother said while entering a tent, which Levi was within, looking blankly at the sword in his labs.
"Am I capable of doing this?" Levi asked, to which his mother was quiet for a moment before sitting next to him.
"the gods have chosen you for a reason... you saw it. he used magic, something that only the dragons could do. one, you were gifted with that unique ability, and second... the god saw something in you. truth yourself. without it, then how could you ever do anything?" She asked, to which Levi nodded slightly, before getting up.
he looked at the sword for a moment, he needed to make a scabbard. but that for a later day, he had to go and look after the burier. it had to be done on the same day, or risk the dead turning into undead.
All he had to do was give a prayer, which was different once he knew that the gods were listening... he couldn't help but wonder if he should ask the gods to bring them back to life. once the thought entered his head, he mumbled it under his breath, in a pleading tone. what he wouldn't do for his father and everyone else to come back to them.
"Please, if you can bring them back to life..." he said in a soft voice that only he could hear... but nothing happened. he sighed softly, before looking up at everyone, and signaling for the dirty to be thrown into the holes where the died bodies were. but at that moment, lightning suddenly fell from the clear blue sky, hitting a tree.
everyone was touched by such a scene, they watched in horror as the tree caught on fire, taking the form of... their god. Levi and everyone quickly fell to their knees, a fearful look in their eyes.
"Levi... why do you pray with doubt in your heart? Have faith, and it shall all be done." the face made out of flames said in a booming voice, causing Levi's eyes to widen. he was about to say something, before flames moved, swallowing the humans who were either dead or injured. they were scared, but to the shock, their injuries disappeared. they even felt years younger. the died? they took in a deep breath before they began coughing once more.
"Levi... in the past I created human, a simple task. and here, I saw create another. someone to stand by your side and help you in your journey," Levi looked from the ground, dirty gathered, slowly taking the form of a human made of dirt. but slowly, a beautiful black-haired girl, wearing simple robes appeared.
"You need not stand alone, or think you can't rely on others for support... after all, you're relying on me. use the strength I gave humans, their intelligence, and the unique gifts I gave a few of you." the face made out of flames said before it disappeared. the tree moved, putting itself together,
No one there had the senses sharp enough to know what they just saw was an illusion, which was used to mask many things that were happening. even so, no one cares for such things right now.
they looked at the black-haired girl who slowly opened her eyes and sat up with a confused and lost look. her eyes were like that of a newborn, pure and innocent, adding her beauty, they were all charmed. Levi who was right next to her was stunned above everything else, such beauty was just created from the dirt in front of him.
the black-haired girl tilted her head to the side, a confused look in her eyes. her eyes were so pure and curious to learn the world around him, that Levi forgot how to speak, lost in her beauty.
"where am I?" but a voice... a voice he could never forget entered his head, he turned back and saw his father slowly getting out of his grave, removing the dirt which was once covering him...
So, that day the clan's man of not only Seagea but also Gutles saw the power of the gods, and they became true believers. how could they not? After seeing a god create life before your eyes, what else could they be? Not even the dragons could use such magic,
although those who were died and brought back to life had a hard time believing this, the fact that they were alive without a stretch made them subconsciously believe such words, they were all in a weakened state, so they needed a few days to rest.
Levi's mother took the god's new creations, she wasn't even able to walk, as if she was just newly born. but she had scary strength, easily able to cause cracks in the ground when she fell. this would have scared everyone if she wasn't so... innocent. plus it was the creation of their god,
the Gutles clan leader submitted to their clan, Levi's hatred for him was still there, but his god wanted him to unite all humans, and avoid conflict if could. so he did just that. he gave him a second chance, seeing he wouldn't stop crying, and along with his man.
so, their clan doubled in size and strength. which only brought new trouble, how were they too deep so many mouths?
"can't you ask god for good?" Levi's little sister, Hana asked with an innocent look seeing how all of the grown-ups were struggling over such a matter. honestly, her words were what everyone was thinking, but no one dared to say it.
"It's not so simple. we need to try first, what if he gets tired of us for not being able to feed ourselves?" Levi said softly, he was maid the clan leader. no one was against this,
"Big brother, Lilith is hungry." Lilith who had just learned the basic meaning of words said softly while looking at Levi with a pout. Everyone's heart melted at this adorable little thing, while Hana glared at Lilith, she was trying to steal her big brother away. How could she be okay with this?
"I will go prey and ask for answers. I will see what to do tomorrow." Levi said with a gentle smile, to which everyone nodded. feeding over 300 people was not a simple task. this is why Scar, the Gutles clan leader, didn't want to take many people alive. It was best to kill most of them, the less mouth he needed to feed the better.
That night, Levi before going to bed pried, before going to bed. That night, he had a dream, a dream about how one could make a farm, from a fish farm, to even a farm for fruits and vegetables. all these years, humans simply hunted and hoped that they stumble upon fruits and vegetables.
but now, he knew how to do all types of things, he went on to share this knowledge with everyone, leading the tribe to get to work. first was to head towards the river. Levi left the sword in hand to clear the king of the river, once it was killed they would start working on creating their fish farm, they could even move the tribe near to the river, where they would have water for their garden.
"... this is how the river looked like in my dream," Levi said in shock while looking around, indeed, he dreamed about this very same river. the dream was so real it was like he lived through it,
"Really?" Scar asked, to which Levi nodded slightly. he was still uneasy with Scar, but he seemed like he had changed... at least thats what he hoped. walking towards the river, Levi took a deep breath before stepping in. It was a deep river.
"I was told this river is too big, the farm we're to make needs us to trap the fish in a controlled space. but first, we need to kill this fish king, with it would not have the freedom to do as we wish." Levi said while holding the golden sword slightly. he stepped forward, but quickly stepped back as a huge fish came swinging towards him with its mouth opened.
without a second thought, Levi swung his sword, the fish hard scale, and the sword slashing. scar and the other warriors who came with Levi quickly moved, stunned by the fact the fish just so happened to be there, almost as if waiting for Levi.
"I-impossible," Scar said in shock seeing Levi being sent flying out the river by the force, but thats not what shocked him. The scares of the fish which were nearly impossible to pierce through with normal weapons... were so easily cut through by that blade.
the fish dances around in pain, its rage, as its forehead bleeds not stop. in rage, it came out of the sea, revealing to everyone it had 4 legs. Levi who had landed on his feet looked seriously at the fish before smiling. if the fish stayed in the water, it would have been troublesome... but it was a fish out of water.
"Taste the power of god. Reality Slash!" Levi roared while swinging his sword, he didn't know how he knew the technique or anything like that. The knowledge just came to him, as if it was in the back of his head, waiting for him to turn his attention toward it.
the golden sword bowed, before a sword slash that cut through the fabric of reality shot forward. it traveled forth at high speed, smoothly cutting through the finish, its hard scare meant nothing before an attack that ignored almost all forms of defense. its body broke apart, cleaning slash and looking like a slash mirror.
the floor thing didn't even know it was dead, as its body fell apart, its mind was still working, confused for some time before it died. Scar... no, not only Scar or the warriors, but Levi also stood there. shocked by such power that was shown.
"W-what martial art was at?" Scar asked in fear, Levi not thinking slowly spoke.
"It's not a martial art, but a spell. Reality Slash. I can use it up to once per day." Levi said before realizing he just told Scar something he couldn't know. looking at Scar, he quickly spoke
"But it's not the only attack. it allows me to use other spells." Levi said to which Scar nodded slightly. but would he dare to have eyes on such a sword, personally given to Levi by the gods? he wasn't a fool
they all went on to pick up the river king, it should be enough to feed the villagers, giving them enough time to work on the many projects they had. plus, they couldn't work on an empty stomach...
Looking through the mirror of remote varying, Igneel frowned slightly at how slow things were taking. now that he thought of it, it might take months to years for Levi to do any real work.
"We don't need to rush, using them as a shield while learning would be for the best. meanwhile, I should start training." I said softly, leaving Odin and Alfred stunned by my words.
"stunned? back in YGGDRASIL, the rules were different, I fought differently, and in this world, I have to get used to it. So, who should be my teacher? you guys came into this world adapt in its way of fighting, Sadly I didn't." I said with a sigh,
"Since I'm a master in all forms of combats, from hand to hand to random weapons. I should be the one to teach you, my lord." Alfred said before Odin could say anything
"Foolish, I'm a master of many forms of combat as well. I have all forms of knowledge and have the power to copy things I see. I'm also a skilled teacher, if I'm not the best person for the role then who is?" Odin asked while glaring at Alfrede. the two glared at each other, forcing me to step in.
"Odin, you have the most important task of looking after the floor guardians, while also looking after Fume. You don't have to take on so many roles, I don't want you to overwork yourself." I said softly,
"but my lord, we dragons have an endless amount of energy. I will not be able to overwork myself. I can work nonstop for years nonend, and never break a sweat." Odin said to which I just sighed.
"no, you would put most of your attention on me. I don't want that, maybe from time to time you can. but for now, Alfred would do it." I said to which Odin bowed slightly, with a nod I had Odin follow me, leaving Odin standing there with a downcast look.
"My lord... I'm more than capable of handling everything." Odin said while looking towards the mirror of the remote varying, before sighing in shame. His old plan was a good one, to use the humans as pawns while keeping everyone else safe. he didn't even think of Igneel's plan, he was more on the edge of enslaving them and forcing them to cough up everything they had.
"I will not disappoint you... that I promise you," Odin said while holding out his palm, a moment later, one of the shinobi appeared, handing him a piece of paper, which he a scroll which he went through. it was the report the shinobi watching the village had.
"... double the number of shinobi watching the village, one is to look at Levi at all times, and the other pay attention to the current state of the village. lord Igneel is too nice, not wanting to overwork us all. but we let so him our worth." Odin said with a flame burning in his eyes,
the shinobi's kneeling eyes also burned with the same flame, and it disappeared to carry out Odin's wishes. Odin looked towards the mirror once more before leaving the room, he no longer needed to look at those humans unless for an important reason.
"Raven." Odin massaged, Raven. the 4 site maids were all at level 90, making them extremely powerful, that was even more so when they worked together.
"set out, and continue to map the land around us... also, we should start a fish farm and garden. I will have Aqua give you some sea dragons to go with you, they are to bring finishes collected back to the 3rd floor. we need all types of sea life, Arbol would help you with the plant matter. She would also cast a spell to speed up plant growth on the land, it will not disappoint my lord. understood?" Odin said in a heavy tone,
during that illusion, Igneel made his appearance, Odin cast the illusion, masking Stellal who had used a 10th-tier spell to not only heal everyone but to bring everyone back to life. the sale was called the Rays Of Life. a mask-effect healing spell, in the game it affected only allies or even enemies if one wanted to. so long as the light hits you, you shall be brought back to life, and healed up. the MP cost was the same no matter how many people, so it was only good for using it on a huge amount of people, instead of 4 or so people,
As for Levi's Dream? That was Odin, placing Levi in a dream where he gave him the information he needed.
"order stood... but how big of a map," Raven asked softly, to which Odin went quiet for a moment before speaking
"as the map is now, everything is good. but let's make it more detailed. mark where key things art could be of use in the future." Odin said calmly
"I understood, I will not disappoint," Raven said, before ending the massage, allowing Odin to massage someone else Aqua.
meanwhile, within an arena, iIgneel and Alfred stood. this was located on the 2nd floor, Heal. It is where Hela liked to spend her time, watching the living fight to the death, and for her to devour their life force to grow stronger.
"My lord, it brings me great pleasure you would come down here... might I show you around my chambers?" Hela asked with a seductive voice, adding her beauty and charm, who on earth would say no? Igneel nearly said yes
"Cough, Hela. I'm here to train. maybe you can show me around Hell on another day." Igneel said calmly, to which Hela sighed softly in disappointment while stepping aside to watch the scene that followed.
"Alright, might you show me what you know and we can start from there?" Alfred asked calmly, to which I nodded while holding my hands forward. while in the game, as a human I used a sword, but as a dragon I used mostly my fist,
"thats a strange stance... is this I you used to fight?" Alfred asked seeing seeing through many openings.
"yes... back then, this was perfect. but now? I don't think so, since magic can so easily be cast here." I said softly while thinking back to the game. When the player started casting their spell, an arcane eye or a magic sensor would have appeared in front of the caster. Afterward, the player could manipulate the sensor by sending their spell towards the desired area of their choosing to initiate its power or effect once they were ready to finish casting it. The player's right hand held the control stick for the sensor's movements, whilst their left hand directed the sensor's field of view.
Other than that, there were icons representing buffs and debuffs that could appear in the player's field of vision, so one could see whether or not they were under the effect of an ability.
A player could hotkey up to about 480 spells in total. The ability to skillfully navigate these menus meant fully understanding and memorizing the effects and proper application of each spell. It was considered to be one of the biggest factors in one's ability as a Magic Caster. Just as warriors were affected by their real-life reflexes, magic-using classes relied heavily on their memory. A magic caster's strength was measured by the number of spells they knew.
Although I couldn't be counted as a magic caster, I did know a lot of spells. I remember all of them, the stance I took was to allow me to best use those spells, and skills of mine, while also using my fist in battle. this was the best way I found to fight in the game, as for when I took a dragon form, that was a whole other story.
"I know this stance would not work in this world, so... you're my teacher," I said making Alfred's body shake slightly. his eyes burned with a light, to think he was being called a teacher, he nearly cried, but he held himself together while having Igneel attack him.
"Use everything you have, I will try and see the best way to guide you... oh, the aura you give off.. can you turn it off? I might die." Alfred said, stunning Igneel
"I see... I didn't know if it affected you guys or not. normally you can't harm an Allie, I thought you couldn't harm you guys without trying to." I said softly, to which Alfred nodded in slight understanding. he sighed softly feeling the Dragon Sovereign Aura disappearing, the debuff that aura gave him was not simple, it affected him as a dragon far more so than other races. Of course, he was strong, so the debuffs were not so huge. but he still felt them, bypassing his immunities to them.
for example, around Igneel he felt the need to sleep, eat, drink, and so on. such simple things, but it forced him to step away from Igneel and await for the debuff to disappear before stepping next to Igneel. they were dragons, so the amount of food they needed was huge, and the hunger they felt was great. if they were to sleep, they could sleep for years.
without this aura, Igneel's attack would have never injured Alfred, as such simple attacks, Alfred had immunity towards. but his immunities were ignored, leading to the attack affecting him.
Igneel shot towards Alfred while throwing a punch, Alfred easily dodged the punch, reading Igneel's movement like a book. Igneel was like a child, unable to hand a hit on Alfred. but Igneel still had the job class, Dragon Warrior. thanks to this job class, Igneel could quickly learn to be a fighter, he had the job class Master Of Body and Mind, which gave him the ability called Full Capability Unlocked.
Full Capability Unlocked: you have gained access to your body's full capability. you to have full control of the power in your body you can release, but to also have complete control of your mind. giving you far greater power than others.
In the game, this just equals a stat boost. but with Igneel being a human and placed within this new extremely powerful body, how could he not lose control even once? he had great control of his power, but there was also some limitation of him having the mindset of a human... although it was slowly changing as he was now a dragon.
"Alright, start using skills," Alfred said after seeing all he needed to see, at his words, Igneel hot backward, and Mana gathered in his mouth before it was released. this was the unique ability of the dragons, breath attack, the trump cards of the dragons. but Igneel was no normal dragon
Dragoon Sovereign Breath. A powerful dark red beam shot towards Alfred. Alfred's pupils shrink before he quickly dodged the breath attack. the breath attack continued to travel forth, destroying everything in its path, and creating a huge pit in the ground. which seemed to go on forever. the arena walls? a clean cut was made through them, leaving Hela holding her hair in shock
