Carna village wasn't too far away, it would take us about a day's trip to arrive. At the moment, we are currently taking a small break, where I was speaking to Ninya who seemed to hold a lot of information about this world.
Amongst the information he dropped was information on something known as the wise king of the forest, the dragons in this world, and a few other interesting details on the magic of this world.
"So... I don't want to be rude, but why is it that you're acting like a male?" I asked while looking at Lukrut who had a disappointed look. Why? Simple, he was the type who liked to flirt with others, but after Toph shut him down with the news that she would be my future wife... well, he was heartbroken.
"H-how did you know?" Ninya said in shock and uneasy,
"Toph has sharp senses, she could tell you were hiding extra weight, which was most lightly breast," I said calmly, her weight and physical appearance didn't match. Plus, Toph could do a complete scan of the body thanks to the vibration they create, allowing her to get a clear image of a person. She could almost see colors, which was something she said, although I had no idea what that meant.
"... I'm looking for my older sister. She was taken by a noble."Ninya said while looking at me with a hint of hope, which I guess was for me to help her find her lost sister.
Ninya was just a village girl, when their parents passed away, she and her older sister relied on each other for their survival. When her older sister was taken away by a noble, she felt useless and decided to become an adventurer, so that she could bring her back. She joined the Swords of Darkness as the strategist and magic caster in the group.
The nobles of this kingdom were not... well, they didn't value villagers. From the information I had gotten, the villagers might as well be considered slaves as they had no value in the eyes of the noble. This was something that confused me, as such a kingdom wouldn't last long on earth. The people would rebel.
But the reason the villagers haven't rebelled would fall to the hard work of the royal family, mainly the golden princess who seemed to have been fighting for the common people.
"You face a hard mission, ahead of you... but I can help you. At a price." I said with a smile, stunning Ninya.
"The task ahead of you isn't something money alone can fix, the nobles of this kingdom are too... well, they are demons in human skin, there is a good chance she is dead. People like them wouldn't treat a village girl with love and care." I said causing Ninya's eyes to be filled with unease and worry for her sister. She had thought of such a thing, but she pushed those thoughts out of her head, trying to stay positive.
"I have a magical item that could bring back the dead... it's a one-time-use item. I'm willing to use it, for you to join me." I said while looking deeply into her eyes, her talent was something I wanted. If I didn't have to forcefully take her, and instead I could win her loyalty, that would be for the best.
"Join you?" She asked, looking towards her teammate with unease
"Yes, getting your sister back would most likely make us criminals, so we would be on the move from the law ever since," I said to which Ninya took a deep breath, before taking my hand.
"Deal." She said to which I nodded with a smile. So, we went on to talk more, with me trying to get all of the information I could about her sister. Soon, my attention was drawn to Lukrut who warned everyone of in coming danger. I had also sensed it, but the incoming danger was just weak monsters at level 7 or so.
I joined everyone as they got ready for combat, and there we saw a bunch of trolls and goblins coming towards us. They seemed to want to loot us for resources.
"Sir Momon, what's the plan?" Peter asked
"Stand by Nfirea, I will go in to deal with them. You all deal with the ones that get passed me." I said while calmly walking forward, the skills and experience of the knights in my domain flowing through me.
"Can he take them all on by himself?" Brita asked to which Toph smirked.
"Even if there were thousands of them, Momon could take them all on by himself," Toph said pridefully, stunning them.
I ignored them, instead shooting forward at full speed. At this moment, I had to limit my capability to level 30, but this was far too high for Peter and the others to keep up with. I slaughtered the trolls and goblins in my path.
I wasn't simply swinging the two long swords around randomly, I was skillfully using them. Duel wielding wasn't a problem for me, as each hand moved freely, performing its task without trouble.
Bodies dropped nonstop, a sight which should have struck fear into the monsters, but they were dropping faster then they could realize that death was coming towards them.
"Impressive, all that without using a single marital art." Ninya who was holding her staff said in shock, she had never seen anything like this. She never knew anyone could move so fast, she had never seen just how easy it was for a life to be taken by the strong... the monsters were like ants, rushing towards their deaths, too slow to realize that the being they were heading towards was the monarch of death...
In the end, the trolls and goblins ran away, Peter and the others barely did much to help, as most of the work was done by me. As for the reason why I ran forward head first... simple, I wanted to learn.
Using the [Death's Almighty] in a way to try and see the best possible moves for me to make during combat, learning the best way to kill a group of people, and minimizing wasteful movement, was what I wanted.
"You're powerful." They said in amazement, to which I waved their words off while looking at my bloody armor. I sighed while walking over to the river, where I got undressed before everyone's eyes. I of course had clothing under,
"What are you doing?" I asked seeing Peter and the others walking over to the dead monsters to cut off their ears and such things.
"This would be proof to the adventurers guild for our kills," Ninya explained lightly, she had an interested look seeing my weird clothing as she had never seen such a sight.
"I see..." I nodded lightly. I went on to watch as Toph stumped her foot on the ground, with an earthquake, hands grew from the earth near every ear, ripping off all of the ears, and bringing them forward before her.
"What type of magic is that?" Dyne asked in shock.
"I was blessed by the god of earth, at least that's what the villagers say to explain my unique connection to the earth," Toph said, the story behind her was that she was from a destroyed village. The day she was born, she was blessed by the god of the earth, giving her a unique connection with the earth.
"They said the blessing took the shape of a Talent, so although I'm blind I could see everything around me well," Toph said leaving them all impressed by such a thing. But since Toph herself didn't know much about her talent, all they could do was see what Toph could do. Toph didn't mind, although she had to show them the basics of controlling the earth...
The next day, walking down the road, I saw the wall up ahead. I also noticed the many goblins that were hiding within the tall grasses. This was Carna village, but the last time I was here, such a wall never existed. That was the good thing about humans, they learn and adapt after facing a setback. If they didn't, humans would have died long ago thanks to how weak they were.
I had the group pause, while I looked towards the strongest person amongst the goblins.
"Is something wrong Momon?" Brita asked in confusion, I didn't say anything, but my gaze grew cold, scaring the goblin who quickly jumped up, raising his hands in defeat. With him, all of the other goblins stood, scared shitless.
I wasn't worried about Enri and the others realizing Momon and Ainz Ooal Gown were the same person, this is because the appearance Enri and the other saw was completely different from the human form I had now. The only thing we held in common was the white hair, I had white hair and golden eyes.
"What's going on?" Enri came over, confused as to what was going on, but as soon as her eyes landed on Nfirea, her eyes brightened seeing a good old friend. I looked at Nfirea, realizing that the guy had a thing for Enri.
I sighed for some time, as we all settled into the village, I went off on my own to collect my thoughts. Once I was alone, and even blocked Nazarick from watching me, I went on to speak.
"This isn't right, this has to be against the rules or something for a god to manipulate my mind like this... I feel violated, that's even more so when I can't plan to go to other worlds with my memory all like this." I said punching the tree, as of this moment not even Toph could sense me as I was out of her range.
I was getting annoyed, why would I want to come into this world if I knew nothing about this world? Why would someone want to go to an anime world if they knew nothing?
[Complaint sensed]
I suddenly paused as a screen appeared before me, before I could say anything, I found myself standing before statues. My eyes widened as I was surrounded by these statues, which all began to glow, and shattered, replaced with gods. On instinct, I knew many of them.
Zeus, Odin, Ra, Shiva, Buddha... was Buddha a god? But you got the point, the top gods of their mythology stood, all looking at me with frowns...
