Massacre of scripture

Ainz and Tenz along with Albedo were standing before the sunlight scripture who were currently baffled at the sudden disappearance of Gazef and 3 unknown figures standing in front of them.

"Who are you!".asked Nigun the leader of the scripture.

"You worm, don't you even have the courtesy to say your name first before introducing yourself , or do mongrels like you have none".

"Well i guess I must teach you,listen carefully. I am Tenz Ool Gown.The one to my right is my brother and friend Ainz Ool Gown, of course the lady to my left is Named Albedo...This is how you introduce yourself..get it,you peasant?.Come on try it out yourself, surely a worm like you is at least capable of learning...Right?".Mocked Tenz in his 'look down on everyone' voice.

Tenz was capable of speaking normally,but then again why would he?.

"How dare a group of filthy magic casters act so disrespectful, it seems like you all want to die, however we will have you speak of where you hid Gazef before we kill you!". Hissed an angry Nigun.

"Hmmmm.. it seems the worm is incapable of learning.Atleast it's capable of listening and reacting..

Well worm and his litter of parasites knell and plant your faces onto the ground without any resistance and i will see through to your death for offending me.Of course you are free to resist, however do make it entertaining.

"Attack him"! ordered Nigun and two Angels flew towards Tenz trying to stand him.

Tenz looked at the Angels and smiled,as they approached him he simply grabbed them by his hands and crushed their heads in his palms, dispersing them into motes of lights.

Tenz Now frowning said." Is this the best entertainment you can provide, perhaps i was somewhat naive to expect something from worms!.Well either way it's my turn now.

Ainz and Albedo took a couple of steps back as the Angels closed in on Tenz.

The armoured Tenz then said."'Aura of destruction:wave level 6'".

A giant white wave burst forth and wiped out the 40 or so angels surrounding Tenz

"Weak!To think they all just disintegrate with aura alone...hah i thought that this would provide some level of entertainment."sighed Tenz disappointed.

Nigun was dumbstruck,the man he viewed in front of him did something that shouldn't be possible,even the members of the black scripture can't take out all the Angels in one single attack.

Nigun now shocked,started to notice things he didn't earlier due to his anger..The man was wearing an Armor that looked like magically enchanted one.His partners hadn't moved at all much less try to attack,the tall man was watching intently while the woman clad in Armor was simply standing gaurd.Its almost like they didn't think it was worth it to step in.

Nigun now flustered ordered his men to fire magic at him.

"Shockwave,acid rain , lightning, light javelin".Spells upon spells were thrown onto Tens only for them to disappear into nothing due to His immunity to any spell below 6 th tier.

One of the scripture's member fired a projectile at him however Tenz simply moved his hand an deflected it towards the member taking his head off in speed faster than the eye could see.This momentarily stopped the attack as everyone looked to see what the fuck just happened.

"*Yawn*... this is boring...Ainz you take care of them if you want...let's not kill them! ,the worms could have some information on them... although i wouldn't expect much from them.". Tenz turned his back on them while speaking to Momonga.It was a clever taunt to make Nigun angry again and make him attack Tenz using the Angel beside him.

"you...why y-you dare turn your back on me ?. Principality of Observation attack him".

The Angel besides him,one of the Principalities was an Angel that had a buff effect when it stayed still,empowering its fellow summons, however now that it moved and the buff was gone,just as Tenz planned.

'Is he an idiot..the Angel is a gaurd , making it move is idiotic. Unless he has something else up his sleeve... either way that Angel only has high defence and almost no offense should i test out those movements i copied from that Gazef Stronoff guy.'.

As the Angel approached Tenz, he took out a shabby looking sword and got into the same stance as Gazef."Focus battle aura!". He cut down the Angel into two horizontally but it wasn't the marital arts but rather just his physical stats and the stats of his weapon enchanted with greater sharpness.

"Hm i can feel it, however something is stopping me,is it my race?. Perhaps i should use the item...later maybe.".

Although Tenz couldn't do the Martial arts of Gazef he knew what he was kinda lacking now however another question popped up in his mind...'why can i copy his moves..is it my Warrior class?.If so then why can't I perform them ... hmm let's hope it's a racial class barrier.

In Yggdrasil the race of Angels are considered mechanical in nature,Tenz was sure that Martial arts required a somewhat living body..or at least this was the only thing he could come up with since he felt a connection towards Martial arts.

Although Tenz couldn't use Martial arts,to the people standing it looked like he did, especially since all the moment he used was too fast to follow and he yelled the name of the Martial arts before striking and cleaving the Principality in two.

"Im-Impossible,how can such a martial art cut down my Principality of Observation in two!..It has the highest defence,what sort of a monster are you!..No demons you all are demon gods...Yes!otherwise it makes no sense..". yelled a now frustrated Nigun in fear.He was sure that this level of power could only be possessed by the 13 heroes or the demon gods who were their enemies.

"Demon gods!..hmm i am a God but not a demon".'or maybe i am'.Said a thoughtful Tenz.

Hearing this Nigun panicked but when his hand met his chest he calmed down a bit,he then brought out a crystal and said."Buy me some time i am going to summon the Angel of the highest order".

"That,it's a sealing crystal and seeing its brightness,it must be capable of sealing anything below super tier magic....Albedo! protect Ainz! Yelled Tenz as he took a defensive posture as well".

Albedo used a skill and stood in front of Ainz,while Ainz readied himself to support Tenz

'Could it be a seraphim class.perhaps the seraph Empyrean or seraph Aesphere..no that one can't be sealed in their...Either way I might have to get serious.'.lrts hope it's not something unique to this world or something.'.Think so he pulled out his god killer blade which was made specifically for him by Takemikazuchi and Amanomahitotsu, two of the best weapon guys in Ainz Ool Gown guild.This was a way of saying he was serious.Darkness enchanted energy oozed out of it,the blade delt extreme damage to any good rated karma and the higher the karma rating the higher the damage...this was done in case the enemy's summon was a seraph class angel.

"Skill sword god arts Connecting tidal wave Njórd". Tenz started to cut down each and every Angel in a smooth motion and his dps kept increasing with each time he killed with one hit eventually charging his skill to unleash a massive slash move that would cleave the enemy in four he stopped at the last one with max charge and waited for his enemy.

"witness true power,the glorious visage of a true Angel!Dominion Authority!".

It was a mass of many shining wings, and among them were a pair of arms that held a scepter, symbolizing royal authority, but neither its head nor legs were visible. Though it looked quite disturbing, anyone could tell this was a sacred being. In the moment it appeared, the surrounding air turned bright and clear.

The advent of this supreme incarnation of goodness drew wild cheers from everyone who saw it. The blood of Nigun's men boiled with excitement.

Now, they could kill Tenz Ooal Gown.

This time, he would be the one to be afraid.

He would learn his foolishness before the power of the gods.

In the face of their jubilance, Tenz barely managed to get a sentence out:

"This… this is it? This is what you call getting serious…? This is your ace in the hole that you were planning to use on me?".

As he saw Tenz's shock, Nigun, who had been extremely uneasy, breathed a sigh of relief. In fact, his heart was filled with joy as he replied.

"Indeed! Your fear is only natural. After all, this is what an angel of the highest order looks like. While using it here seems like a bit of a waste, I have determined that you are worthy of it!"

"How could this be…"

Tenz slowly raised his hand and covered his face. To Nigun, it looked like a gesture of despair.

"Tenz Ooal Gown. The truth is, you deserve respect for forcing me to summon this most exalted of angels. Be proud of your fearsome strength, Warrior".

Nigun nodded deeply, and continued:

"Personally speaking, I would like to bring you into our fold. If you are truly that powerful… however, I am not allowed to do so on this mission. At the very least, I shall remember you , the man who made me decide to summon this mighty angel."

However, the response to Nigun's praise was a cold voice:

"Really… this is ridiculous.I again expected something more from this worm *Sigh*".

"What?"

Nigun had no idea what Tenz was saying. To Nigun, Tenz was little more than a sacrifice to the highest order of angels, which humanity could not possibly defeat. Yet, his attitude seemed too relaxed for that.

"I can't believe I was on guard against such child's play… my apologies, Albedo. I made you use your skill for nothing.Even Ainz had to activate his skills".

"Please, do not say that, lord Tenz. We did not know what manner of monster they might have called forth, so it was prudent to reduce the chances of injury."

"Is that so…? No, you're right. It's just that I did not expect this to be all. It was quite unexpected."

Nigun's mind could not keep up with their patronizing banter.

"How can you act like that in front of the angel of the highest order!?". Nigun shouted, He could not believe that Tenz and Albedo were chatting leisurely and completely ignoring Dominion Authority.

Their calm attitude of absolute superiority made the surging joy in Nigun's heart vanish. In its place was terror and unease.

Could it be that this group is more powerful than this mightiest of angels?

"No! Impossible! It cannot be! Nobody can be stronger than the highest placed of the angels! This is a being which can defeat a Demon God! In the face of a foe that humanity cannot beat, it's a bluff! It must be a bluff!"

It would seem Nigun could no longer control his emotions.

He could not, would not acknowledge this. He could not believe that a man who could defeat Dominion Authority was not only an enemy of the Slaine Theocracy, but was standing right in front of him.

"Use it! Use 'Holy Smite'!"

This was the magic of the seventh tier and above, a realm humanity could not reach. Even the large-scale rituals in the Slaine Theocracy could not cast it, but this most exalted of angels, Dominion Authority, could do it by itself. That was why it was ranked among the highest order of all angels.

The magic that Nigun ordered to be cast, the seventh tier Holy Smite, was such a mighty spell.

"I get it, I get it. Hurry up and make your move. I won't do anything. That should satisfy you, right?".

However, Tenz relaxed attitude was like a pedestrian letting another person walk past him.

His casual attitude filled Nigun with fear.

This angel of the highest order had once defeated the Demon Gods of legends. Its omnipotent power was enough to qualify it as the mightiest being on the continent. It was invincible.

Yet, if someone could defeat it...

If the mysterious magic caster before him could do it, it would mean that this mysterious person was a far stronger being than a Demon God.

Such a person could not exist.

In response to its summoner's wish to use its most powerful attack, Dominion Authority shattered its scepter. The fragments rose up into the air and slowly orbited its body.

"I see. So this is a once-per-summoning special skill that it uses to augment its spell power. It would seem this Dominion is about the same as the one in YGGDRASIL…"

'Holy Smite'.

The spell was cast, and a pillar of light broke through the sky.

With a loud whoosh, a seemingly endless cascade of holy blue-white radiance flooded down from the heavens, submerging Tenz, who simply raised one arm to shade his eyes.

The seventh tier of magic a height humanity could not hope to attain.

This sacred power would annihilate all evil beings, and even good entities would meet the same fate. The difference was only if they were reduced to sightless atoms, or if there would actually be remains left behind. This was the awesome power of magic that exceeded the realm of humanity.

No, it would be strange if that were not the case.

Yet he was still there.

Tenz Ooal Gown, the monster, was not blasted into glowing ash, sprawled on the ground, or pulverized into meat jelly, but he was still standing nonchalantly, and even laughing.

"Ha..ha.HaaHahahaha...this feeling is this how damage feels like,it seems the worm is capable of entertainment.".

"You-You basterd!,how dare you Hurt Tenz you dare,i will kill you all , albedo capture them and skin them alive".yelled an angry Ainz but was calmed down forecfully and looked at the matter again stopping an angry Albedo from acting upon his order.

"hmm...i guess this is the most you can do hah...well either way let's end this facade".

"Sword god arts! Tidal wave Njórd release!".

A twin slash in forem of an x appeared before Dominion Authority and cleaved it into four parts, decreasing it to motes of light in a second.

It was so underwhelming that it made them stare in dumbfounded silence. It might even be laughable. But they could no longer see it.

"You....what are you all!".

"Like I said I am Tenz Ool Gown,*sigh* you really are incapable of learning,worm!,Now..."

Suddenly a crack appeared in the sky and vanished the next instant.

As confusion washed over Nigun, Tenz answered.

"Good grief… you know, you should thank me. It would seem someone was using divination magic to keep an eye on you, but because I was in the spell's effective range, my anti scrying offensive barrier activated, and you were not observed. Really, if I had known, I would have linked a higher tier attack spell to it."

Those words filled Nigun's eyes with realization.

The Slaine Theocracy must have been spying on him.

"A widened Explosion might not be enough to teach them how to behave… oh well, things being as they are, playtime is over."

A wave of cold ran through Nigun as he picked up the hidden meaning in those words.

He, who had always been the oppressor, was now going to become one of the oppressed.

He was filled with an incomparable fear. The fear that he, who had taken countless lives in the past, was now going to have his own life taken. His subordinates saw his terrified expression and it frightened them as well.

He was on the verge of tears.

He wanted to kneel down and loudly beg for his life, but Tenz did not look like a compassionate man. Thus, Nigun fought back the urge to weep, trying his best to look for a way to survive. But no matter how he thought, he could not think of any way to get help from the outside. Therefore, his only hope was to throw himself on the mercy of Tenz Ooal Gown.

"Wait, wait a bit! Tenz Ool Gown sir, no, Lord! Please wait, we, no, I wish to make a deal with you! I guarantee you will not be disappointed! As long as you spare me, I will give you any amount of money you want!"

He could see his shocked subordinates out of the corner of his eye, but they were no longer relevant to him. The thing that mattered now was his own life. Everything else was of secondary importance.

Besides, he could find more subordinates, but his own self was irreplaceable.

Ignoring the countless angry voices of his men, Nigun continued.

"It must be difficult to satisfy the tastes of such a great warrior as yourself, but I will definitely prepare enough money to please you! I have a position of some power in my country, so they will definitely pay any price to ransom me! Of course, if you desire anything else, I will do my best to meet your wishes! So I beg you! Please spare my life!"

Nigun panted as he finished his monologue.

"What, what about it? lord Tenz Ool Gown !"

A delicate, gentle woman's voice responded to Nigun's desperate plea.

"Did you not reject the compassionate offer of the Supreme One, lord Tenz?".

"That is!"

"...I know what you want to say. You wanted to beg for your life because accepting his proposition would also mean your death. Am I correct?"

The black-helmeted head shook, as though it was tired of talking.

"You seem to have gotten the wrong idea. Since lord Tenz who holds the power of life and death in Nazarick, has already stated his will, inferior lifeforms like you humans should lower your heads and gratefully await the taking of your lives."

Albedo's forceful words were backed by an adamant resolve.

She's mad. This woman is mad. Nigun, who realized this, looked hopefully to Tenz.

Ainz had been quietly listening to them. When he realized that Nigun was waiting for Tenz's decision, he shook his head in exasperation and said.

"Indeed… it is as she says. Cease your pointless struggles and lie down quietly. As a final act of mercy, I will kill you without drawing out your suffering.".

And so after a while they all returned the bodies for 'information extraction' to Nazarick while Tenz went on to meet Gazef.The ring he had on intrested him and also he wanted to know of somethings from him.
