XAVIER'S POV

I could sense that she wanted to ask something. She kept opening her mouth and then closing it hesitantly. We were on our way back from the lake. It was already five in the evening as the sun had begun to set. 

My eyes glance at Ophelia. The dark circles under her eyes had lightened slightly. But they were still visible. Her hands shook from time to time. So she folded her arms against herself to hide that.

The bites, she had talked about, did they leave bruises?

Did the nails leave bruises?

I never noticed that until now but I wanted to know all the parts of her Especially the ones, she tried to hide. I wonder whether she went to those parties to forget. I thought she enjoyed going to those parties.
