“If this is the way you start out all your dates, I’m calling dibs on all your future ones,” Eli panted when they parted. His eyes had only brightened from the passionate caress. Jarrett had thought the way they gleamed had been a direct contrast to the bleached hair, but he’d been wrong. It was simply Eli, and his response to the way Jarrett touched him. His glistening mouth curved into a smile. “Hi there.”
“Hi, yourself.” Reluctantly, he peeled away, inhaling deeply to try and slow his pounding heart. He noticed the pack hanging from Eli’s shoulder. “Is that dinner?”
