Chapter 5

Someone opened the door, the light shined brightly on Liliana, she felt like it would blind her.

The person who came was not Mary nor anyone she had known. It was an unkept man with unshaved beard, he came towards her, and began to untie the ropes in her arms and legs.

He did not spoke a word to Liliana, he held her small tiny hand and they both stepped out of the room.

Liliana was feeling shy and scared but she still followed him, she saw him talking with butler Ben, she did not know what they were discussing about, after that the man left her to butler Ben's care.

Butler Ben showed her the way to a different place, he told her that from now on she will live here, Liliana saw that even though this place looked better than the previous one, the distance between her father and brother's room was also quite far away than the one she previously lived in.

"Young lady Liliana, here are some servants you can choose from."said Butler Ben in a polite tone

Liliana could feel the fear and hatred in their eyes, she doesn't even know what she have done to them. She saw them look exactly like her brother and Mary.

"Butler Ben! No matter what I will not work for her, even if I'm fired, she killed our Madame, so why should we serve her? This kid also doesn't know how to handle her powers, what if we died by her hands?"said one of the servant

Butler Ben looked at that servant and immediately fired him at the spot, he also began to sigh and looked disappointed.

Liliana had now become aware why the servants looked at her with the same face as her brother, so Liliana is a bad child, a very bad child, no one would be willing to be friends with a killer, sinner and a devil. Maybe she is destined to be alone.

Liliana looked normal on the outside, but inside her heart that was already like a delicate, fragile glass, began to shatter in different places, cracks and holes were forming, her mental condition was only getting worse, she kept on remembering Mary's and her brother's words.

"It is indeed your fault, you are a sinner, a devil and a killer, your mom, father and brother hates you, you deserve to suffer, you need to repent for your sins."said Mary

"You killed my mother, you are not my sister, my sister will not kill my mother. If only you did not exist then my mom would be still alive."said Liam

Those words and the pain that she had suffered from began to resurface.

"Young lady Liliana, who do you want to pick?"asked Butler Ben

Liliana saw their looks of fear and hatred, she didn't want any one of them near her. She told the butler to come closer.

"I don't want anyone of them, it is fine, this place is not even as big as the previous room I stayed in, it won't be hard for me to take care of it, but please do help me bring my books here, I can stay here alone, Liliana is not a baby, look I am big, and Mary was already enough so taking servants is not needed."said Liliana with a stubborn look on her face

Butler Ben looked at Liliana, he sigh once again,he felt bad for Liliana, but he thought that this would be good for Liliana, those servants might just cause Liliana more harm than good, he felt heartache when he heard such mature words coming out from Liliana, so it was true that kids growing up in a difficult environment tend to grow up quicker.

Butler Ben personally helped her settle in her new place, he showed around the area to Liliana, he showed where the kitchen, bathroom and the garden was, he also gave her a communication device in case she met some trouble.

Butler Ben was still worried for Liliana but that was all he could do for her, he soon left her due to other duties he needed to attend.

Liliana was now all alone, even Mary was no longer with her.

She tried to call the fairies but they didn't came to her.

Someone came to deliver her food, the food looked the same as the one she was fed when she was locked up.

She began to vomit and couldn't bare to see the sight of it. She began to remember Mary's words again

"Young lady Liliana, you deserve to be treated like this, you are a devil, a sinner and a killer, you don't deserve happiness, you need to repent for your sins, you need to suffer, you cannot retaliate even when you are getting bullied or upset, you deserve it."said Mary

Liliana did not even want to eat the thing in front of her, she remembered that there was a garden outside.

When she got there, she saw a tree filled with apples, her stomach was growling loudly, she hadn't eaten anything since she was locked up till now.

She decided to jump and try to get the apple, but her small, tiny body couldn't reach it, so she decided throw stones in hopes of the apple to fall down, but her strength was weak and the stones she threw fall on top of her, but she did not give up, she then threw a bigger and heavier stone, she felt like it finally moved the apple, but then she couldn't avoid the stone falling on top of her, her head now had a bloody wound.

Liliana felt so painful and weak, she wanted to scream and cry, but she remembered that it was pointless. She knew deep in her heart that no one will come to save her. She did not let a single tear fall off her eyes, she was determined to get the apple, at any cost, she decided to climb the tree but she always slipped off, she was struggling very hard, she finally got to the top, her clothes were tattered, dirty and torn, she got some cuts as well, she slowly approach the apple, right when she got near the apple she saw a snake hanging on the tree.

She felt scared and lost her balance, then she fell off the tree, her body landed on a sharp edge rock, she was pierced almost near her heart, the impact of that fall was serious. Her whole body was damaged badly.

Liliana could no longer cover up her own feelings, she screamed loudly, she was crying for help, yet no one came to check upon her, no one was there for her.

Why? Why? Why...

Her stomach was growling, she felt weak, her body was numb, she saw her own blood, her wounds were bleeding, the ground she was in filled with her blood, she was just about to give in, when she saw an apple fall on top of her.

She looked surprised, she muster up all the strength that she could use to eat the apple, she didn't even care if the apple was dirty, she devoured the apple in a blink of an eye.

Liliana looked like a wild animal while devouring the apple, she still felt hungry, that was when she realised that there were many apples on the ground, she began to go pick them up and ate till she was no longer hungry.

Liliana was still injured but after eating the apple, she felt a bit better, she was struggling to walk to her room, after who knows how long, she finally got there. She lay down on her bed and immediately went to sleep.

If there was someone here, they would be shocked to death by the scene, they saw in Liliana's room.

That person was...........

Liliana did not know how long she had slept for, she felt like someone was crying for her, she wanted to tell that person that she was fine and this bit of pain was nothing.

When she opened her eyes, she saw no one, the room was dark, she felt disappointed and wondered to herself, why would anyone cry for her when no one actually loves her.

She once again closed her eyes, but her tears kept on falling non-stop. She didn't even know how she fell asleep.
