Kelvin smiled, and headed out to talk to his mother. He drove out of kayden's yard and into the streets. After about half an hour, He pulled up to his parents' penthouse apartment on the Upper East Side in his sleek, black Tesla.
He stepped out of the car and onto the sidewalk, taking in the bustling sights and sounds of the city. He walked into the building, past the doorman, and into the elevator, which whisked him away to the top floor.
When he arrived at the penthouse, his mother greeted him in the foyer, looking stylish as always in her designer dress and heels. "Kelvin, darling!" she exclaimed, air-kissing his cheeks. "I'm so glad you're here. I've been dying to talk to you about something."
Kelvin followed her into the living room, which boasted stunning views of Central Park. The room was decorated with modern art and sleek furniture, and a fireplace crackled in the corner. His mother gestured for him to sit, and he did, sinking into the plush couch.
