11. Past Date…

We have completed a year, together. Fights, and many more happened through out the year. Next week, my mid term exams were about to begin. Before getting back with studies, we decided to meet. Just another date together. Turned out in tragedy.

I had an bike but not the valid licence. We met as planned and drove to the garden. It was, something 15 minutes drive from my place. The climate were cloudy-gloomy. The rain made every thing miserable. With mud every ever it wasn't easy to drive as the tier would slip. The garden was filled with other couples. But we found place near blossom garden. I can hold her hands without any shy now. I held her in my arms.

"Stop… somebody would catch us." she said, making herself free from my grip.

"Nobody knows us here." I said.

"Let it be. Maintain a distance" she said.

"As you say my lord" I replied, playfully.

The rain poured in. We ran for shelters and found one near to the temple. Just like us, every couple came to temple, making themself safe from rain. Some of them started to kiss, without even realizing where they were standing. She pinched me and said.

"Look what they are doing, such a shame"

"What? They are just kissing"

"Kissing in front of a temple."

"Their is nothing bad in that. Even Christians do the same." I tried to protest.

"They do at the time of marriage, not like this" she replied. Okay here is the thing, Indians never like to kiss their partner near temple.

"Leave it na baby, come lets go" I said as the rain slow down.

On way back home, the traffic police caught us and I had to pay 200 bucks (under the table transaction) and they let us go. In India, everything is possible if you have money.
