Bureaucratic Ranks

The administrative distinction of the kingdom Mathew is currently divided in a few bodies

Prefecture: Small cities or villages, generally dependent on the bigger cities in their area.

A prefecture was the following bureaucratic ranks:

Guards > Tax Examiner/Collector > Jail Warden > Precinct Chief > Prefecture Magistrate.

The difference between Precinct Chief and Prefecture Magistrate is that the first one is tasked with maintaining the order of the Prefecture, while the second is tasked with managing the city's finances and everyone under him (including the Precinct Chief.)

The next administrative body is a Municipality, Municipalities are bigger cities that act like the administrative center of certain areas, and every Municipality is responsible for a few prefectures.

The bureaucratic ranks of a municipality follow the same pattern as a Prefecture, but, they have a bigger administration staff and a few other positions like District Organizer, Industry Archivist, Prefectural Secretariat, and a few other positions of smaller relevance.

The next administrative body is the Province, I won't release all the bureaucratic ranks of this body now, but, a few have already been mentioned in the first chapters ( Provincial Governor and his envoy.)
