Chapter Two.

"Where are you from?"the girl continues asking.

"Restless City."

"Restless City?The city of a thousand beggars?No wonder you're dressed in such clothes,"the girl comments in a demeaning yet friendly manner.

"Kind Sister, what is your name?"

"You refused to tell me your name and you expect me to tell you mine?"

"I really don't have a name."

"Fine it won't cost me if I tell you my name. I'm Xu Qiu Tian,Qiu Tian as in autumn so you can just call Qiu Tian. Hurry up."

"Do you have somewhere to go?"

"I came with my Martial Brother so he must be waiting for me ."

The young boy finishes up the meal and they leave together. They walk towards the Fabrication Shop where they are supposed to meet the martial brother. When they reach there,they find out he's gone.

"He left again,"Xu Qiu Tian sighs in frustration.

"How is your martial brother like?"

"A heartless jerk. Let's go."

They continue walking further away from the market place and reach Orphanage 101. Orphanage 101 is a large martial sect known for training orphans into elite martial artists who end up working either as Imperial Guards or bodyguards of Ministers. Orphanage 101 is located in the outskirts of the Gudong Empire Capital City. The Orphanage recruits one hundred and one orphans per season hence the name Orphanage 101 as for the reason why they chose that number no one knows. The disciples are classified into generations. The newly recruited ones belong to the Fourth Generation that is Xu Qiu Tian and others who were recruited about eight months ago. The earlier three generations have already graduated.

When Xu Qiu Tian and the young boy reach the gate,it comes to their realization that they have to part ways but Xu Qiu Tian suddenly comes up with an idea.

"Our sect is lacking one disciple for the number to be complete. Since you're an orphan I'll help you get in."

"Really?"

"Yes. My Master doesn't recruit just any orphan. You must have combat strength. My Master gets out of the sect every Wednesday at this time to go to Dragon Inn to play with his friends. I have a bun with me here so when he comes out of the gate you should pretend to robbing the bun from me then he will notice you."

"Won't we be wasting food?"

"Don't worry about it. Make sure to show all your strength."

"Fine."

Immediately they hear the creaking sound of a gate opening,they immediately put their plan into action. Master He doesn't fail to notice how fierce the young boy is.

"What kind of boy are you, robbing a young lady in broad daylight?"

Xu Qiu Tian sees Master He approaching them and the intensity of her screams increases.

"What's going on?"Master Her asks stroking his short beard arrogantly.

"Shifu help me."

"Just give him the bun you can bake another one. Besides why don't you defend yourself?"

Xu Qiu Tian fights back with more strength to make it look real at the same time she's nervous Master He might have seen through her plan. She finally let's go of the bun which gets torn apart and falls on the ground.

Master He strikes the boy from the back and he falls down and faints.

"This boy has such a great stamina. Go and inform your sect brothers to carry him inside."

"Yes."

Xu Qiu Tian heads inside and comes back with two of her sect brothers and the two carry the boy inside. The boys take him to Yang House(the boys dorm) and lay him on a mat and wait for him to wake up. The boys are surrounding him admiring his face.

"He's handsome no wonder Qiu Tian was attracted to him but he turned out to be a pickpocketer. What a shame,"one of the boys comments.

An hour passes and the boys are still surrounding him waiting for him to wake up.

"Did Master He accidentally kill him?"

"Then he wouldn't be breathing."

"You're all surrounding him maybe he isn't getting enough fresh air."

"Ao Lian why don't you examine him?"

"Of course. Move aside."

The boys move aside as Ao Lian takes the initiative to examine him. Ao Lian is among the youngest boys in the sect but he has great medical skills. He's slender with an adorable tiny face. He strikes the unconscious boy on the ribs and the boy wakes up instantly groaning in pain.

"Ao Lian you're amazing."

"Hey buddy what's your name?"

"Where are you from?"

The boys compete in asking questions leaving the boy no room to respond. In the evening they all head to the Dining Hall to have their dinner. Xu Qiu Tian invites the boy to sit at her table. Xu Qiu Tian and Ao Lian usually eat together and now there's a third person. Ao Lian is the natural hostile and mean type and not the jealous type.

"Ao Lian,why didn't you wait for me at the Fabrication Shop ?"

"I saw you with another hero so I didn't bother to wait for you."

"You're so mean,"Xu Qiu Tian whines.

"By the way where did you collect this dummy from?" Ao Lian asks referring to the boy.

"Don't call him that. He's older than you so you should respect him."

"How old is he? Nine? I'm also turning nine next month,"Ao Lian brags.

After dinner,the leader of the Male disciples Situ Rong summons the young boy as per Master He's orders.
