--- Unknown Time. Unknown Place. Unknown location. ---

The entire sky was colored red.

Below, the ground was filled with countless corpses. Rivers of blood were flowing all around. Mountains of bones could be seen far and far distance.

A sense of despair, hopelessness, distress loomed in the atmosphere.

But a lone figure could be seen standing in the middle of this carnage.

DRIP!!!

DRIP!!!

DRIP!!!

DRIP!!!

DRIP!!!

...

Red liquid was dripping down from his blood covered body. Though it was not his blood.

That person was Primis.

Moving his head, he looked at all the massacre around him for a while. Then he crouched down and picked up a severed head that was near his feet.

That was the head of a 14–15-year-old boy. And it's not just a head, there was a spine still attached to it. Seemed that someone pulled the entire head out of the body along with its spine.

Most people would just run away or look at this severed head in disgust. But not Primis. He caressed the face extremely gently as his eyes filled with sadness.

Primis: Never thought I will see your face again...…Son.

Yes. That boy was Primis son.

He kept on stroking the face of his son before careful putting it on the ground.

Next, he walked to a corpse of woman leaning on a broken wall. In case one of thinking that the woman was extremely beautiful then sorry to pop your bubbles because woman was average.

Yet, boundless love and pain could be seen in Primis' eyes while looking at her.

Sadly, only the upper part of woman remained. There was nothing after her waist. The intestines and fluid spilled out of her remaining body.

Nevertheless, Primis didn't even show a slight loath before picking up the cold body of the woman and embracing her.

He kept on hugging her until he was satisfied and slowly leaned her back on the wall before getting up again.

As he looked at other remains, he was certain that he knew all of them. Every single one of them.

They were his acquaintances, comrades, brothers-in-arms...brothers, sisters, relatives...…fathers, mothers, grandfathers, grandmothers......wives, sons, daughters.........sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandsons, granddaughters and even many more.

He approached all of them one-by-one and gave remain by their side for some time. Once he was done, he let out a deep sigh.

From there on, he started walking around this bloody battlefield.

He kept on walking for who knows how long before all of sudden the entire place turned dark.

Primis found himself in a black abyss and felt like falling into a swamp. He tried to break free but failed. He can't even see anything clearly.

But then…

A sad song resounded.

He felt the sadness of the song. There was sadness and helplessness of a mother who was abandoned by her children and clearly knew Primis' pain that he buried deep within his heart.

At this, Primis couldn't help but be attracted to the song and started looking for the owner in this abyss. As if he wanted to throw himself into his mother's arms.

But just he was about to…

Primis: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

His instincts started screaming violently.

Warning him that once he fell into the arms of the owner of the song, he would never wake up again. And at the last moment, Primis called.

'Primis: Come, Aurora.'

BOOM!!!!!!!!!!

A burst of power came out of him.

--- Teyvat, Night ---

All the inhabitants of Teyvat were done with their work for today and were sleeping peacefully in their homes with their family or friends, waiting for the next day to come.

However, all of sudden…

GOUDOU!! GOUDOU!

GOUDOU!! GOUDOU!

GOUDOU!! GOUDOU!

GOUDOU!! GOUDOU!

...

They all woke up one-by-one as their houses started to shake.

In panic, they rushed out of their home while holding their children.

But they all gasped when they witnessed the spectator in front of them. It was not just their place but the entire nation that was shaking.

At first shaking was weak but with time, it started getting worse and worse. So much so that people could no longer stand properly and started to fall on the ground. Many got injured in the process. And as if it was not the end of their suffering, it became even more violent that even buildings started to collapse.

CRACK!!

CRUSH!!

People tried to run away so that debris wouldn't fall on them but were unable to since they could barely move properly because of shaking.

This tremor was not occurring in one or two nations. It was in the entire Teyvat.

The whole World was trembling.

And this was also happening on every other Worlds who were part this "Planar War".

Back to Teyvat. Just when people were about to accept their fate, a pillar of light rose from all the seven nations.

SIU!!

BOOOM!!!

SIU!!

BOOOM!!!

SIU!!

BOOOM!!!

SIU!!

BOOOM!!!

SIU!!

BOOOM!!!

SIU!!

BOOOM!!!

SIU!!

BOOOM!!!

The color of the pillar of light was different in each nation.

In Mondstadt, it was Teal.

In Liyue, it was Yellow.

In Inazuma, it was Purple.

In Sumeru, it was Green.

In Fontaine, it was Blue.

In Natlan, it was Red.

In Snezhnaya, it was Light Blue.

Once those pillars appeared, the quavering in the nations started to calm down. All the people sighed with relief before they kneeled towards that majestic pillar and joined their hands in prayer. They knew that it was none other than their protector Gods or Archons. They started to shed tears in reverence and gratitude.

Soon, the tremor started to die down. People remained on their spot, not moving, witnessing marvelous strength of their respective Archons.

And finally, the shaking stopped.

OR

They thought.

BOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SHATTER!!!!!!

SHATTER!!!!!!

SHATTER!!!!!!

SHATTER!!!!!!

SHATTER!!!!!!

SHATTER!!!!!!

SHATTER!!!!!!

A huge amount of pressure fell. The moment it did, all the seven pillars collapsed like glasses.

The Gods who were trying to stabilize their nations, groaned and spitted blood and laid on the ground with a frightened expression on their face.

Just like the Gods, all other beings in the world were forced on the ground by the pressure.

The Seven Archons tried to fight against this foreign power with all their strength, but it was to no vail.

In the end, with extreme difficulty, they could only raise their heads and look at the sky. Not only them, but also the people who were on the ground turned their heads to the side and moved their eyes to look at the sky. And that was their biggest mistake.

They saw something that they would never forget for the rest of their lives.

Terror, despair, hopelessness, fright, and many other emotions gripped them.

There, in the sky, was a Moon. A Moon as red as blood. It's like an eye shedding tear of blood, an observer that was watching them from both near and far.

It was............…The Crimson Moon.

--- Mondstadt, Galesong Hill, Windrise ---

Windrise was a subarea located in Galesong Hill, Mondstadt.

It was a place where the Hero of Mondstadt, Vennessa was said to have ascended to Celestia, where she became God and now watches over Mondstadt.

Celestia was a mysterious location that very few people understand. It was the floating island that can be seen in the sky above Teyvat, and the residence of the gods or archons.

It was said that only mortals who performed great, heroic feats can ascend to Celestia and achieve godhood, where they will watch over their people from above.

Anyway, since Primis decided to pick up Paimon, he and Lumine had to pass through Windrise to reach the beach where Paimon would be drowning...till now.

Since it was night, they decided to make their camp there. After dinner, they slept.

When it was past midnight, a surge of power rushed out of Primis.

BURST!!!

Lumine: Guh!!!

Lumine, who was sleeping peacefully while hugging him, took the blow and was thrown to some distance.

FWOOSH!!

BANG!!

The entire world started trembling and the place where Primis was, now engulfed in a vortex of unknown energy.

Lumine somehow raised her body and witnessed this. She was shocked to the core at such strength.

A few seconds later, the vortex dispersed and Primis appeared.

He was wearing royal blue clothes with a golden arm guard on his right arm. Two swords could be seen at his waist symbolizing day and night.

Currently his back was facing Lumine. She didn't know why but she had a feeling that the current Primis was a completely different person than the one she knew.

Still, she gathered her courage a called him.

Lumine: M-Mr. E-E-Erst-t-e...…

Primis: ...…

But Primis remained unresponsive.

She waited for a minute and opened her mouth to call him again but suddenly, Primis turned his head slightly to the side and glanced back at her.

Lumine: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the next instant, Lumine face turned pale, and dread gripped her heart as she saw Primis empty dull red eyes looking at her. The situation turned even worse when Crimson Moon appeared in the sky.

Lumine witnessed how both Primis and Crimson Moon aligned together as a single identity. Clearly indicating that Primis was the one response for that blood-red moon.

Her body started trembling. Horror and dread grabbed her heart. If one day someone meets their maker, they will try everything in their arsenal to run as far as they could. Even when they know it would quite easy for their adversary to catch them. Yet, they will still try to struggle with the inevitable.

But Lumine can't.

Not because she didn't want to but because the fear was too much that she couldn't even more her body.

Though just when she thought she would die, Primis moved his gaze away and looked at the Moon.

After a minute of silence, Primis undid his awakening. Once he did so, the Crimson Moon also disappeared. And the pressure on the Worlds participating in the "Planar War" disappeared too.

But the image of Crimson Moon will never disappear from the memories of the people.

The fear, horror, dread, fright, terror would never let them forget how weak, pathetic, hopeless, and insignificant they were in front of that Terror.

Turning around, Primis walked to the broken bark of the tree near him and sat on it before started pondering about something.

He knew the Lumine was looking at him with questionable and fearful eyes, but he didn't care at this moment since he had more pressing matters to attend to.

"W-W-W-Was that your r-r-real power, my L-L-L-L-L-Lord?"

"Primis: You don't need to know."

The System's spirit turned silent. But inside the system, it was quivering in fear.

'Primis: Just how did it find me? It's been a long time since I left this world. Yet not only did it look for me beyond other worlds but also pinpointed my location..................… The questions stands, how?'

As Primis recalled his time in that world, he started looking for the cue. And he concluded after contemplating it for a few minutes.

'Primis: Ophis. That's how it finds me. As a Dragon, it was not that difficult for it to detect Ophis's Dragon God aura. Then it must have traced Ophis's aura on me and found me here.'

Sighing, Primis turned his gaze to the Horizon.

'Primis: I thought I will have some peaceful time now that 'that' Being thought I am dead..............................…*sigh* Never expected you to come for me......…Beast II, Tiamat.'

A few days went by.

After that incident, Lumine was wary of Primis. That power was not something she had witnessed and experienced in her whole journey to different worlds with her brother.

Primis didn't bother giving any explanation either. Seeing that Primis had no intention of opening his mouth, Lumine didn't ask either. After all, everyone had secrets. Even she herself because she didn't tell Primis about herself.

Yes. You heard it right. Lumine didn't tell Primis about her past. How did she come to this world with her brother? How she fought Unknown God? How she got separated? And so on. Not that she didn't want to but because Primis seemed to have no interest in knowing about her past. Hence, it also made it difficult for her to ask about his.

By the way, they were currently on a beach. Primis suddenly wanted to eat fish when he saw this sea, so Lumine was now catching them.

Though, no matter how many she caught, Primis always said it was not enough and as a result, she had to reluctantly stay in her place and continue fishing.

Speaking about Primis, he was currently taking a nap in the shade of tree some distance behind.

Lumine couldn't help but pout cutely in frustration while looking at Primis lazy appearance.

'Lumine: The only thing you did was eat and sleep. Eat and Sleep. Eat and Sleep. Will the world come to an end if you decided to help a bit?'

PULL!!

PULL!!

Suddenly she felt a pull in her fishing pole and hurriedly held the pole.

'Lumine: It's heavy. Must be a big fish. If he still said that it's not enough and fish again, then I won't make his portion of meal for a month. No, a week.'

Next, she pulled hard and something big flew out.

THUD!!

A dumbfounded expression appeared on Lumine' face when she saw that it was not some big fish but a person.

However, instead of checking whether the person was still alive or not, Lumine head of occupied with some other thing.

'Lumine: It's not a big fish. Does this mean I have to continue catching more fishing?'

Suddenly, an idea lighted up in Lumine's mind. She glanced at Primis to confirm whether he was still sleeping and picked up the person before muttering under her breath.

Lumine: I am sure Mr. Erste won't realize whether it was fish or not if I cook it through and cut it into many pieces.

???: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The person in Lumine's hand suddenly shivered as if she heard what Lumine just said and opened its eyes.

???: Paimon is not food!!!
