Chapter – 10 (Hunt begins(Part 4))

Primis was standing on the branch of the tree while looking at what's in front seriosly. In front of his eyes, there's a goblin village. The population of goblins in this village almost reached hundred. Though that's not the case of Primis seriousness. In the very center of the village, there sat five beings whose height reached as high as 3 meters. One had Great-Sword by its side, another had Great-Axe. As for the remaining three, they had Mace, Hammer and Club respectively.

[DING. Those are Hobgoblins. They can be considered as the elites of every goblin race.]

Primis: What is the Level of their strength?

[DING. Even the weakest Hobgoblin has the strength of Level 2 Adventurer.]

Primis: Level 2. Huh.

Primis was not afraid of Level 2 as of now. The strength and defense provided by his equipments may made him max Level 1 allrounder Adventurer. But if you will stack the stats provided by his current Level then his strength reached Level 2. On top it, if you add his skills in equation then he won't have any problem to kill even Level 2 max Adventurer.

But the problem here was not of Hobgoblins but the population of the goblins. In last hunt, Primis became exhausted just after killing 40 goblins. It's true that he became strong than before. However, hundred goblins along with five hobgoblins still made the situation delicate.

Primis: The higher the risk, the higher the return. Huh.

Primis started to formulate plan. It will be a suicide to attack them head on. Hence, Primis decided to use another approach. He decided to kill as many goblins silently as he can. By doing that, he can not only diminish their numbers but also increase his strength with each kill.

The village had almost 30 huts. In the very center, there was bonfire. Hobgoblins were surrounding this bonfire. Since it's almost night, many goblins returned to their hut. Primis gaze fell on the entire village. He decided to first kill the goblins that were on the lookout tower. There's a total of 4 lookout towers at the four directions of the village.

Each lookout tower had five goblins patrolling. These goblins were all in full alert. If they noticed a single thing out of place or suspicious, they won't hesitate to notify everyone in the village. Primis came at the foot of one lookout tower. He must dash at full speed to reach the top in a few seconds or so. Otherwise, goblins from others lookout might notice him.

He waited for some time before dashing at full speed. In just two seconds, he covered half the distance. After another second he covered even more distance. Then as if coincidence or bad luck of some sort. One of the goblins on the lookout looked down. There it saw Primis approaching rapidly. Primis still needed at least a second to reach top. And that one second was all that goblin need to shout and alert everyone.

SSH!!

How could Primis let it do that? Elucidator left its sheath and appeared in Primis hand. He then raised Elucidator high up, atop his shoulder as magic gathered into it. As goblin opened its mouth, Primis leaped and appeared in front of goblin in the next instant. Then Elucidator slashed at the goblin from top to bottom.

SLASH!!

'Primis: Sonic Leap.'

The goblin dispersed while leaving behind a magic stone. Primis hurriedly caught the magic stone and put it into his inventory. It's night and everyone in village were asleep except of these goblins on the lookout tower and the Hobgoblins in center. The entire village was silent. The 'ting' sound of magic stone touching the ground might made some of the suspicious. And can urge them to check. Primis wanted to prevent that scenario from happening hence he hurriedly put magic stone away.

The moment Primis landed on the platform above. The remaining four goblins present on top became alert. Before they could respond, Primis positioned himself in a way that looked like he was putting Elucidator at the left side of his waist.

Magic gathered in Elucidator and Primis swinged his from left to right, but it didn't stop there. The moment first slash was done, it was immediately followed by a second slash from right to left. Due to the speed of the attack, the two slashes appeared as if done with two swords instead of one.

SLASH!!

SLASH!!

'Primis: Snake Bite.'

All four goblins dispersed altogether when hit by "Snake Bite". Primis then hurriedly caught and put the magic stones in the inventory.

Primis: First, lookout clear.

Primis then took a rest on the tower for five minutes before proceeding towards the next tower. Soon, he reached another end of the village right below another lookout tower. This time he didn't wait for a second and directly rushed at top. Unlike before no goblin above looked down. As a result, he reached top without any problem this time. When he reached top, he noticed that all five goblins were showing their back to him. That's because they were looking at their respective direction. Primis didn't wait and attacked.

In this entire village, the only one who can take Primis speed on without much difficultly are only Hobgoblins. So, other goblins didn't stand a chance. After putting the five magic stones away, Primis look around entire village from this lookout to check whether someone became alert or suspicious. After confirming that everything is fine, Primis moved towards his next target.
